Been downloading this massive patch since about seven-ish (EST). It is now 11:00, and I may be only 15% finished. Upsetting to say the least.

Bah! Well crap. Guess I won't be playing tonight. I'll just go pout and piss and moan like a brat, now. Lol.

9 more GB to go... I wonder if it would be more beneficial to just uninstall and then reinstall? At least with a reinstall I could play.

Maybe an hour or two. My wife and I were playing just before we left to run errands, and then once I got home I tried logging in and it's trying to patch this 11GB patch.

So I tried logging in, saw there was a new patch, and it is trying to download 11GB worth of content... my wife logged in and she was able to play immediately. Mine is still trying to patch... is this normal? Did it take anyone else an extended amount of time to patch? Should I run the repair?

I have completed Coruscant now on three characters, and each one has fully explored the Coruscant map, and each time I was never awarded the "Explorer of Coruscant". I have opened up a ticket and received no response from it. Has anyone else had this problem. It's pretty frustrating, considering it is the LAST part I need for the planet (other than Droids). Is this a known issue, anyone have any advice?

This for truth. And as for the comment: "Whining and complaining does nothing"- well, you're naive. The "whining and complaining" is what is looked at for the game to get better (or worse). It's not the "OMG This is teh gretest game evorz!" posts. No one cares about that, either, you know? The devs already made money. If they want to keep making money, then they will look at what the vocal part of the community is saying... and it's not how great this game is. I promise you.

Actually... until the sub runs out they are still paid customers for a 30 day service (or however long their 30 days still has left) Another thing, the people that post that they are leaving aren't just bashing the game for no reason, these are people who PAID to play the game, and are leaving because they found their play not as enjoyable... not to mention, they came here with feedback about why- It's the people who can't see no flaw, or who fail to try and understand the OP's logic and just, no offense, give this type of response. Berate them and insult them... yeah... really awesome civil mannerisms. If any one thing destroys MMO's anytime soon- it's the community.

You know... I can say I was a huge SWTOR Fanboi... I played through Beta and loved it. I got in early access on the 13th... and I've been playing ever since... however, I've been playing less and less ever since. This game is truly remarkable... really. However, everything the OP said is true... believe it or not. Those that just say the same remarks (WoW is that way, or enjoy the Pandas), really need to just let it go. There is no difference between someone posting that they are leaving because of certain issues, or someone posting that they love this or this about the game. The problem is... wait for it... YOU! You don't like criticism. Sad, really... since criticism is how success is made. I may or may not unsub... my wife really loves this game, but I'm having a hard time staying interested. I really overhyped myself and should have spent more time leveling in BETA instead of rolling the classes. Oh well. Live and learn.

I just ordered a CE from Gamestop just now. After Wal-Mart cancelled mine and I raged for the better part of the day... So this is like Christmas for me. Hopefully my order goes through... I even selected overnight shipping.
