I have a Marauder as my main, and I think that they are very good. their skill level is above average though so make sure to look up guides. To all your questions, (except for ops because I never do them) id say a resounding yes, so long as you can learn to do what's needed at the allotted point and time.

If we could get a little bit more immunity to stuns and roots/slows then I think we would be perfectly fine. Problem being is we don't and because of that we are left very vulnerable against classes such as: Scoundrels, Shadows, and Gunslingers (its rather easy to counter a gunslinger though so that's not so bad.) Not to mention its somewhat difficult to chase around troopers because we can't slow or root or keep up really when they run around with their speed/movement impairing buff they employ often. Of course this is usually a problem in endgame pvp. In midbies and lowbies marauders are decent.

I'm fairly certain you can get the chest-piece from one of the many equipment commendation vendors. You can get the leg piece from the old level 55 inquisitor basic commendation gear vendor on the fleet. p.s. personally, I think the marka ragnos set would go better.

So, I agree that there is a excessive amount of useless skills in in this game; however, I feel like the mechanics are perfectly fine. For instance, if your playing a gun slinger, you don't need to jump to different parts of the terrain to go into cover. Just press f where your standing and you'll pop a shield and it will be like you're behind terrain. Also, if you were playing a gunslinger correctly then cover would be your best friend; and master strike is almost just something to use to wear away the cooldowns on your other abilities that does decent damage, a filler if you will. Secondly, I also agree that you should be able to use addons in this game; however, knowing how poorly this game's engine perfoms, I'm assuming it probably wouldn't be able to handle it lol.

Razer's SWTOR mouse is pretty good, been using it for atleast 3 years now and not the slightest hint of malfunction. Its also remarkably similar to the razer naga, or so ive heard.

I find this to be somewhat odd because when I pug (I usually do HM's) I get decent groups usually. there is always the occasional sucky person(s), but overall I usually get quick, efficient, fruitful runs.

Truly, this isn't quite right. Though ive never played WoW (downloading the game now to try it out) or their new expansion (Obviously), but im fairly certain SoR takes the cake for "Most money consuming, yet least content in history." phrase. I was quite frankly, shocked at how little content SoR contained. Actually, SoR's content was about on par with a small-medium update in LotR. (bear in mind, I don't dislike SWTOR or I wouldn't be here; but I feel as if SoR didn't quite cut it as an expansion.)

If your in this game just to pvp I suggest you find a new game. The pvp isn't the greatest I think, and there hasn't been new content in awhile.

It mentions Revan in there. I am assuming that makes Revan canon?
