Quick update: Unsanctioned is running RP several times a week, with smaller RP sessions running during the week and longer sessions on weekends. Our central RP plot is starting to branch out and include our members' individual storylines! We're opening recruiting again, especially for people whose toons already have their ships. Unsanctioned is sitting at about 49 toons (40+ accounts). Web site is updated and we're holding a joint RP with Gundark Group on Friday. We've got about 4 more RPs plotted out for the guild in the next couple weeks, one of which will start a long-running guild RP.

For Rep side, it's the Fleet cantina, but I've also seen RP on Nar Shaddaa, Coruscant, the starter planets and Tattooine recently. Ebon-hawk.net is the most used web site from what I can see. it's topping this forum and swtor-rp.com right now for Ebon Hawk RP news and info.

Just dropping a quick update: Unsanctioned currently has about 30 active guildies, all RPers. We held our first RP yesterday on the Republic Fleet and it went well, with several members showing up. I'm hoping to update the web site this week!

Channel secure...begin transmission: This is Coleman of Balmorra. The Republic is licking its wounds. It's rebuildling what it's lost...just trying to hang on. So the treaty was signed. So the Republic laid down their weapons in peace. But the Empire does not want that peace. They're sabotaging us every chance they get. The Republic can't act for fear of breaking the treaty. That's where we come in. We aren't officially Republic. We break no treaty. The only thing we break is the Empire. We are Squad Three One Five. And as far as anyone knows...we don't exist. I can just about guarantee there was no notification on Ebon Hawk. For one thing, my chat box is oversized and I watch it when I'm doing pretty much nothing, which is what I was doing for the past half hour. For another, I was in a faction-wide OOC which was actively talking and no one in the channel mentioned it. An entire faction not noticing a server shut down message on a heavy to very heavy populated server seems pretty unrealistic.

It happens, but usually it's an event. I know Sanctum had an RP yesterday that involved an all out fight and also has a couple of events coming up like this - a tournament today, PvP on on Tatooine tomorrow. Another is companion fights 3/3 - don't remember where. I've also seen entire flagged guilds running around Corellia. My leveling partner and I run around flagged because we like world PvP, but we don't see too many others doing the same. And I know there's been some talk of keeping /say on Ilum IC.

I'd be fine with that as a nickname or code name, as long as you also provided your character's real name as well, i.e. Bob Jones, aka Accuracy. Or alluded to the fact that there was another name. As long as it was clear, I see no real problem. (And if I played a character named Accuracy, he probably wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a barn )

I've had this situation a few times in the past couple weeks (different server, though). I had to keep turning down invites to impromptu RP so I could get my main to 50 and a ship for one of my alts. But it's not a bad thing. Right now, I'm considering designating one of my alts as a private one so I can actually play the game.
