  1. I know this is an older thread but as there was a fairly recent reply and I had trouble with the quest recently too, this is what worked for me: - Make sure you aren't in the instance - Reset quest - Reset phase (do this by right-click your portrait, going into 'Phase' and 'Reset Local Phases') Another person on Yavin 4 at the time also suggested I leave the phase, travel to my SH then come back, which I assume also does a phase-resetting kinda deal, though I did not try it. Hope that works for anyone who may come across this prob!
  2. Monday is May the 4th. It's set up this way on purpose to be part of the celebration of that day. Way to be a **** about it, though
  3. Bumpitty bump! I spent two hours yesterday transcribing from in-game screenshots...
  4. Bumpity bump. Would also like to see this returned to how it was!
  5. Just another note on top of the no workies: Can you also please restore seeing who is already logged into a custom chat channel when you first log in? I used to sign into a character and be able to see exactly who was online and in my custom chat channel. Now all that's gone, and I need to play guessing games concerning who is on. It's just a small thing, but would appreciate that coming back.
  6. Bumpitty bump! Really, the choice of hairstyles especially for Miraluka is pretty... slim. Which is a massive shame, and also unnecessary; lots of the hair still available clips with the masks. Why not put the rest of the human hairstyles and colours in, at least?? That would not be too hard. The lack of variety in masks is also a bummer, especially that there is no basic bandages one. This has been a thing for a while - I don't suppose it would be too much to ask for a few extra in an update?
  7. A while later, but *BUMP*, because Miraluka hairstyles are sorely... lacking.
  8. Bumping again, because I really want this and it wouldn't be a hard feature to add. I spoke to my programmer friends. I know these things
  9. So far, my technique for dealing with this has been screenshotting the SWTOR chatbox over and over, often having to scroll back to make sure I have everything, then typing everything up in Word from the screenshots. It is a very, VERY slow process. :< I have such a backlog at the moment. Chat-logging, please, for the win! I do believe it would also be nicer for dealing with player conflict, to be able to grab chatlogs as well as screenshots to deal with issues.
  10. >.> <.< Soooo... how much do you like that Despot armour? *bats eyelashes*
  11. Noooo! D: I am disappoint. Thanks for the fast reply! I'll try my luck there. Don't you think it's silly they get rid of packs after a while? I don't see what the problem is with keeping them on the market.
  12. Sorry to double-post, but just have to say I agree completely with this. It really is EA running the business side of things, but Bioware are copping all the flack for those failings.
  13. I got this dye I quite liked, and could even preview it on the item my character was wearing. Then, after I bound it, it didn't show up. Said it couldn't because the item was non-dyeable, even though it had given me the preview. Then I couldn't take it off, because that destroys it. T___T wrryyyy, SWTOR. It's not fair that they get destroyed, I don't think.
  14. Bioware = awesome EA = shady. it makes me sad when people blame Bioware for how TOR is being managed, because that whole side of it I would think is managed by EA. I met Bioware peeps at Pax Prime, and found them absolutely amazing.
  15. So, I'm looking for Despot armour, and I've heard some mixed messages on where to find it. Most sources say I can get it in the Skip Tracer's cartel pack, but that pack is nowhere to be found on the market. I've also been told it's a rare drop on the Black Talon, but that source is unreliable. Is there any way I can get it? Or, is it possible to craft? (I know nothing about armor crafting. Need to find a good how-to to get me started)
  16. Lovethebeard, sounds like a great idea! I'm wondering if the person used something like 3D Ripper DX to extract the models from the game... That's the only thing stopping me from starting anything myself, I could just model the characters from scratch, but I'd much rather model the outfits on the SWTOR bodies to show them off. I'd also like to see how they layout their textures >.>
  17. I know this is an old thread, but: http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/3DRipperDX.htm It'snot ideal for people unfamiliar with 3DS Max and Maya, but I figured if people wanna do this for machinima anyway, they probably know how to use those programs already.
  18. SWTOR is one of the few MMOs that has kept my interest, mainly because I usually dislike MMOs but I'm a massive fan of Star Wars and, no matter what people say about SWTOR, I have hella fun playing it. I am also obsessed with pretty things. I like MMOs where I can customize the crap out of my character, with many different hair and clothing styles and colours to choose from. SWTOR is not bad at this, but it's not the best either. There isn't that much variation, and personally I'm not really partial to the 'short sleeves over everything' base model. I understand as an MMO there's only so many geometric clothing models they can have, and so many skins, but at the same time is seems a little lazy. I don't just want countless recolours of the same three meshes. I'd like to see more. So I thought, why not let the fans make some? I'm a digital artist currently working for a couple of indie game start-ups, and character concept/modelling/texturing is my forte. I'd love to be able to make stuff for my character, or even make stuff and sell it in the in-game market. I'm also absolutely sure I'm not the only one who plays this game who can model and texture, and probably not even the only one who would like to. Being able to make hats and outfits and such for Team Fortress 2 in the Steam Workshop, submitting them to Valve and having the company release the approved outfits for the game was an amazing success. I would love if there could be something like this for SWTOR, even if it was just monthly competitions or something. I have a feeling the community would love getting involved in something like that as well. So how about it guys? And also, who do I go to, to get this noticed?
  19. How something manages to be so cute with so many rows of teeth is amazing. I would love a Nexu pet!!
  20. I would love a Nexu as a pet *_* the moment I saw them with those massive (and sorta adorable) Cheshire grins, I wanted one. Preferably full-size, but I wouldn't mind a cub either. Anyone else seen any enemies or neutral creatures they want as pets? :B
  21. Oh I've heard a few things concerning Revan but I am trying to leave mysel unspoiled I've been around here for ages and reeeaally should have a character past 50 by now, but I've been too busy to play it much sadly. I am definitely getting those TOR books though! Can't wait to read Revan.... riiiiiight after I find time to finish the A Song of Ice and Fire books... this could take a while :|
  22. I remember that I didn't really have much of an opinion on Maul from the film - there wasn't really much to build an opinion on, to be honest. He says 'yes, my master', smirks a lot whilst fighting Jedi and has bad teeth. However, I found the 'journal' novel for Darth Maul in the school library a little while later, and read it, and found him really interesting The back story was intense. It was just a shame the same level of depth couldn't be applied in the film. In any way, shape or form. At all.
  23. Forget the 'fade to black' being disappointing, I will never forget the way my Jedi Sentinel wiggled his eyebrows when delivering a 'Flirt' line. I was almost embarrassed for him, even BEFORE he proceeded to get shot down. That's the last time I'm doing that. Also, more on topic, I bet the main reason for the 'fade to black/walk off' suggestive romance scenes, is because they can't be bothered doing the extra animations for it that will only be used once or twice. :3
  24. Ahah, i thought I recognised the voice actress too! Was so thrilled. Some of my favourite banter from KOTOR was between Bastila and Mission. And with Satele having the same family name as Bastila, I love imagining that she is a descendant of both her and Revan
  25. I was thinking something along the lines of a Force-cry, yes, and I can imagine it being pretty intense, especially for any other Force-users that may happen to be around. Actually, what I initially thought is that a Force-crying Miralukan would actually inadvertently make any other even vaguely Force-sensitive person around them burst into tears instead. Even so, I wondered if releasing that through the Force could compensate with the actual physical reaction that humans have? Also, completely not denying that they had eyes at one point I've spoken at length about this with a sciency-friend of mine. He and I both reckon it is likely that their ability to see the Force was so far superior versus normal vision that evolution just went "y'know what, screw these eyeball things, I'm puttin' my juice into this awesome Force-connectly thing" and eyes were eventually scrapped for a far superior sense that could do vision and more.
