  1. I would pay to see that Jaessa would probably murder Kaliyo in her sleep.
  2. Well, stop bloody buying 'em then. Simple.
  3. Deleting bitraider folders should help. You know, the malware they insist on keeping to frequently ruin the game.
  4. Koth is easily the most punchable companion of any bioware game to date I honestly didn't think it was possible to be more punchable than Carth Onasi.
  5. Yes. Expertise ruined pvp for me, and I haven't touched it since it was introduced.
  6. Another gaming session ruined by the malware known as "bitraider", which is YET AGAIN causing infinite load screen for subscribers and players who paid for the game. I deleted the bitraider folders to circumvent this unnecessary digital measure that's supposedly put in for my benefit. Aren't we all glad this monstrosity is still in place to plague this game? By the way ... here's an amusingly ironic selling quote from the company that produced this abomination: "And to make the game even more accessible, BioWare has just implemented BitRaider streaming to get players into the action faster with a dramatically smaller initial download." - Star Wars: The Old Republic / EA / Bioware Thanks, Bioware and bitraider, for allowing me to get faster into the action. Now I remember why I unsubbed.
  7. I was never a big fan of the bounty hunter story. The problem was that I never felt like a bounty hunter, and the story was confusing and boring. It had some fun moments, but they were very far between. Also, Crysta Markon was super annoying and constantly broke my immersion with that goofy accent. I did enjoy Gault Rennow, though. I also liked the female bounty hunter voice. The male voice, however, was torture and traumatized my eardrums.
  8. I left SWTOR after finishing rise of the hutt cartel. With the arrival of Knights of the Fallen empire, I decided to return and give it a go. I must say that Shadow of Revan is the worst part of the game I've seen so far. I hated Rise of the Hutt Cartel because it abandoned class story and companion interaction with one, generic storyline for all classes with boring questlines to boot. Shadow of revan did the same, only worse. I can see that they were trying to mix things up by going for some sort of pirate theme, I guess. But the revan storyline is so uninteresting. Only thing that made me liven up was the class-specific storyline. For me, there are two major problems with Shadow of revan: Lana and Theron. I don't understand why these characters are in the game. They have zero personality and their line delivery is so flat and uninteresting. Especially Troy Baker, who returns yet again with his trademark as generic, bland voiceover-guy. As usual, he delivers the best Troy Baker-impersonation of his entire career. I've got serious Troy Baker fatigue, and I'm still struggling to comprehend why this guy's voice has to ooze it's way into everything. I'm doing my best to trudge through this bland storyline without falling asleep over my keyboard, hoping that things will maybe lighten up when I reach Knights of the Fallen Empire. The expansions I've seen in swtor so far have been VERY underwhelming.
  9. More interaction with the companions and make them a bigger part of our class stories. Bring those voice actors back in the booths. It would also be nice to see them interact a bit more with each other. I liked how Kira felt very integral to the Jedi knight story. Let's see more of that applied to the other class stories. To me, the companions have always been the biggest draw of this game. So it would be nice to see them brought back to life in future expansions.
  10. Alas, there is no voice modulation. I found the helmet in a lottery pack and my voice is exactly the same in conversations. Cartel guns all have the same, lame sound effect, and helmets don't modulate voices. Come on, bioware.
  11. Well it's that time of the month again. Yes... that problem. Game crashes to desktop followed by an infinite load screen with the habitual radio silence from bioware. Just thought I'd let you know in case anybody is actually behind the wheel. Is this EVER going to get fixed?
  12. Be that as it may, I just love that scream ^^ It's why I chose that class.
  13. Yup. My suspicions were correct. She screams when pulse engine procs. My vanguard is now perfect
  14. Maybe what I've been hearing was the scream when pulse engine procs. I'm only lvl 33 so I have to wait till I reach 35 to find out, I guess.
  15. I thought the vanguard was supposed to scream everytime she shields an attack? Whenever I see her absorb an attack, she says nothing. I have seen lots of vanguard tanks scream when they absorb/shield/whatever block attacks, and that was one of the reasons I wanted to play this class. Am I doing it wrong? Halp...
