  1. Back to the original topic of the thread... The reason why you see crap tanks most of the time is because they aren't tanks... they are bozo's who wanted to hold a lightsaber and have no idea what they are supposed to really be doing, as a Jedi Knight in a group. Alot of JK's(juggs) didn't pick that class to be a tank, they picked it to be one of the Skywalkers, or Obi-Wan, etc...
  2. I was gunnery until I hit the class missions where Elara was incapacitated, I think it was level 30, might have been 40 though.... maybe it depended on who you sent where on that certain mission to end the chapter, anyhow, Elara was down for me for like 5 or 6 levels, and I switched to Combat Medic.. and I like it better, I use 4X as my companion, I completely **** big guys, get 4x buffed, and get my 30 stacks of support cell before we aggro, then I start off with grenades, full auto, and hit super cell, and go nuts with 1.3 sec charged shots, for anywhere from 800 to 2k crits, by the time I run my ammo down to half, the mob is 2/3 dead and 4x is prolly aroudn half or so, I heal him up quickly and easily, then go back with full autpo, etc.... I will tell you, the elites( the guys around 30k health at my level) seem to go down faster than they ever did as gunnery. I ran out of ammo way too fast as gunnery, now, with supercell, I can spam charged shot at 0 ammo cost, for 10 secs, then at 2 ammo for a while after. I was all crit/surge gear as gunnery, I am all power/alacrity now, and love being able to squeeze 6 or 7 charged shots in for 0 ammo cost during the supercell buff.
  3. The skill gives 3 ticks of healing each time you use it.... the total is your tech bonus... for you, its actually a little more than your tech bonus.
  4. Abies, thanks for your experience, and your completely worthless comment about how it was our problem, because we chose to RE all of our stuff. No, it wasn't our choice, that is the way the game mechanics work. If you want the best recipes, you RE stuff. And to the person saying it seems normal, and for armormech( same crafting skill I am having issues with), I have seen along the lines of 10% rate to get blue , 5% to get purples while leveling up, but in the last week, around max skill level, have seen not a single upgraded recipe of any kind. While constantly sending a guy out making the base recipes and immediately RE'ing them when he gets back. I can understand bad luck, and a run of 30 or so being bad luck, but a run of well over 100 or so?... and these are not trying to get purples, 90% of those attempts were trying to get blue recipes...seriously those are the numbers I am up to at this point. The only saving grace, is that the only 'pure credit cost' is the amount of thermoplast flux the items use, and not any other mats, since they can all be scavenged. At least for the base green recipes anyhow. I tried a few blues, but have quit, since I it didn't seem smart to throw away the rarer and costlier UW mats for no gain. When/If I start seeing any recipes pop, I might start back on the blues again, but until then, not wasting any more credits.
  5. All I have to say is, I never heard it said, that this game would have great endgame content at release. I don't know that I have ever heard of it ever happening with pretty much any MMO. Go somewhere else for a couple of years, then come back, and you'll have your endgame content. WoW certainly didn't have much of anything for endgame at release. For quite a while, folks were raiding the other side's newbie areas, 1 hitting level 10 guys, hoping some of them would complain enough for some higher level guys to come around to put up a real fight. Or folks were doing and redoing a handful or raids/dungeons. Looks pretty similar to this game, other than the fact that... like has been said over and over... this game has 8 different stories, instead of the 1.5 WoW had/has. And we all remember hearing/reading that this game would be story driven, over and over, that is what was said. That's what it is. If you were looking for something other than what was advertised, try elsewhere.
  6. Its not sad for them to not be through July... I wouldn't doubt 1/4th of the total happened within 3 days of the announcement. I remember seeing something like 750K had been preordered, and that was a month or two back. I could see them having let 200k or so in, and that only allowed folks within the first week of availability to come in. The next 200k will encompass something like 3 weeks, probably. Then the next 200k, would probably cover 6 weeks or so, etc.... All speculation, and theory, so don't quibble over numbers.. just trying to show the folks who are not understanding how its working.
