What goes on on HIS server isn't typical of all servers either. My statement was merely disproving his.

I don't know what server you're playing on, but my server is packed during peak hours.

Hoth and Voss are even larger. But yeah, Alderaan and Tatooine are large too. Quesh is the only planet after Tatooine where someone could argue not needing a speeder.

Go try and complete the Quest Chain for any planet after Alderaan without using a speeder, then come back and try to tell me this again.

Yeah well, BW has decided they won't do that. So the next best thing we can hope for is that they're all in the same place and the general population understands them as the "Official" Un-official Server Forums. Like I said before, having anyone and everyone making random forums and claiming it a server forum only further fractures the community based on who uses which forums. Example: If half a server population uses one forum, and the other half uses a different forum. That server might as well be two totally different servers, since the two forums will create two very different communities.

The only problem with that thread is, if you read the comments, you see just a bunch of random people are making forums and claiming them as their server's forums. This does not build a community, it fractures it based upon who uses which forums for which server. Having a set site, with one forum per server all under one roof is much better than having thousands of different forums trying to do the same thing, with many forums being dedicated to the same server. Because BW doesn't want to do this themselves, we'll need a 3rd party to do it, and Fragworld.org has stepped up to the plate.

This. You can't keep Single Server BG's with bracketed PvP. And doing cross server BG's would destroy communities on servers. Want an example, look what cross server stuff did for WoW, destroyed what little communities servers had left.

I'm surprised people are so caught off guard by the fact that Melee sucks in low lvl PvP. Try to PvP as a warrior at lvl 10 in WoW and you'll get your **** pushed in, but come lvl 85 you're a wrecking ball, it's the same in ToR. Patience is a virtue.

Every planet after Tattooine has shared leveling zones. Try leveling beyond lvl 25 and you'll have a different opinion.

Possibly the worst idea ever. The only reason you'd ever want to use an Xbox controller on a PC is for Console port games like CoD or Elder Scrolls.

/reads your name.... Eh, fine, I'll bite. Bioware has been very open about the linear questing, if you're just now finding out about it you need to pull your head out of the place you poop from. How do you know there is no substance after the story line if you've had no more than 4 days to play the finished game (emphasis on "finished"). Also, spacebarring through through the story in a story driven MMO... no wonder you're disappointed.

The game JUST came out of Beta... hell, it's not even released yet technically. Calm down. This must be your first MMO launch experience, none of the MMO's worth mentioning in the last 10 years have had this smooth of a launch. Bioware is doing everything right, and at this rate they'll be set for the gold standard of MMO launches.

Honestly, I personally can speak for Death's Fist, MF, MERC, and CotF on Veela. They're all very organised, probably the only true "zerg guild" on the server so far is Starfleet Dental (Goonswarm). But, all they have is numbers. So, all you idiots talking out your asses about zerg guilds when you don't know a damned thing about any of the guilds on this server, either need to learn what a zerg guild is, or learn to keep your mouth shut, because it will only get you in trouble throughout life.

Veela is where it will be at. MERC, Champions of the Force, and Starship Dental (Goonswarm/Goonsquad). Good place to be Empire.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jedi Acadamy switched to Veela. If I remember correctly they wanted to get on the same server and MERC and Champions of the Force, both of which are on Veela. And then there is Starship Dental... that's a different story all together.
