  1. Awww is your argument so weak you need to rely on Ad hominem attacks? Do you need me to get you the definition of that? Sadly your argument fails purely because you are living in a fantasy world and seem to be so bitter at your supposed nerf that you want a little company? I'd get into further details but you seem a little challenged so I don't want to exert you. Toddles!
  2. TLDR: waah my op class is getting nerfed so I want you nerfed as well. Sorcs / sages were op period they got what is needed. Tough that you might have to think to fight melee now than head roll your keyboard. The only thing sins need is balance brought to the deception tree to make the burst spec viable. Funny how you've never raised this sudden imbalance untile your own op class got nerfed!
  3. For reference you were spot on mate, did the Corellia and final class that took me to 48 with about 4 pvp wins then the Ilum quest chain took me straight from 48 - 49 in one hit. Vengeance was very much suited to the grind for the pve quests but didn't really have the burst to cut it on Ilum especially against those blasted quartermasters. Rage on the other whilst seat of your pants really has started to shine through.
  4. Really appreciate all the advice. I actually switched to a Hybrid Veng / Immortal snagging Impale and invincible. PVP isn't as great but still getting used to it however Voss became a cake walk once I geared up Quinn with some of the 40 pvp op gear. Trying the technique for fast levelling now and just dinged 47 at the start of Corellia so will likely do the class quests and some extra's (The Hoth bonus etc is grey to me so not worth running). Will be interesting once I hit 50 to start the sin I have at 33 and compare the levelling experience. Though must say really miss being in a guild
  5. Immortal definitely appears to be the goto spec for easy levelling. Certainly has great utility and matched with def mods it'd be formidable. I've read dozens of posts on all builds and tested alot on mine but I had genuinely hoped I could pull off a rage spec in pve to maintain the high pvp medal count. I did find immortal very robust but the dps so poor. Voss just seems to really push you out of a dps spec. And yet you aren't especially more survivable than a tankasin. Though hey still fps fairly hard. Ah well looks like I shall revert to my old immortal spec and get the old ball and chain (Jaesa) to do the legwork.
  6. Had feeling that might be the case. I don't especially like rage but it rolls in the medals. FC > Crush > Push > FC > Rarrrghh. Then aoe taunt and that's most of your medals right there. Other than that it's very boring and lacks challenge. I found with vengeance I drop to about 4 - 6 medals and the dos is underwhelming whilst lacking utility or survivability. My sin does it all vastly better! Tbh I'd just grind my sin but it makes sense to finish the jug to 50 to grind creds with the hope they put that 1.1.5 patch crystal vendor in. Need a couple of mil and that'll only happen running lvl 50 dailies in such a relatively short time span. Will also bankroll my alt army! Guess it's back to vengeance then
  7. So I've hit 46 on Voss and currently getting my backside handed to me repeatadly even with up to date oranges and crafted gear. I've got just 4 levels to go and it seems like a lifetime away the way things are going. Is it better to abandon the pve grind and just go full on WZ's to 50 now? Is that going to be quicker than trekking across huge maps and performing the go hear click / kill this 50 times for what amounts to about the same xp? To round out what I'm doing, I'm currently spec'ed rage as this gives me the best pvp performance averaging 8 medals per WZ to save for those 50 champ bags. Guessing switching back to veng would make the voss grind better but would degrade my pvp performance (already tested this). Using Quinn as well, Jaesa was great but I just can't stand up to the incoming dps long enough to finish the fight. Would really value any advice on this.
  8. A great shame, I won't touch razor products after a fault ridden lycosa that was simply atrocious and rubbish tech support. I stuck to Logitech as I've never had a single prob with their gear. Using a g9 mouse but having auto run bound to the thumb key is so awkward. Are you binding your forward movement to any particular key or do you bind auto run to one of the nags side keys?
  9. Many thanks, really valuable insights. I actually abandoned my sin and ground to lvl 45 jug before realizing that other than a great art style it wasn't what I wanted. Hit 37 sorc but lacks the iconic saber play of star wars. Just started a marauder and got to lvl 14 but flip flipping between him and the sin. Spec'ed darkness for the sin and love the utility but I personally enjoy just bring able to destroy people one on one. Watched a 50 marauder dueling a deception sin the other day and it was literally a knife edge of health for each round. They seemed to win equally. I'm guessing for that kind of performance key binding and mouse turning is key. I'm struggling with that myself after using wsad for the last 16 odd years. My performance with deception seems to be very poor using key binds and the mouse (bound autorun to my mouse thumb key).
  10. Fantastic guide makes me want to give my 33 sin another shot. Be really great if you'd post your darkness guide as well to see how that spec plays out. How do you feel each tree stands up in pvp?
  11. Dinged 42 Jug today after trying all three specs and tbh yeah it is a disappointment. I love the art style and gear for the Jug and it looks and feels like a powerful class. However skill wise it just feels either overly simplistic or just lackluster. It isn't bad but it is hardly exceptional. You can make a superb tank but other than stuns galore and being implacable you don't do alot. Tried vengeance and the damage was good and consistent but so easy to kite and just a bit too slow. Rage is nug smash RARRRGGGHHHH great for stomping groups in pvp and a definite medal winner but feels so tiresome. I've got a 37 sorc that face-rolls, a 33 sin that is kinda quirky and tried a sniper to 23 but it was too static. Overall I think the marauder is everything I should've gone for. Great art style like the nug, my fav companions in the game, powerful dps and a true challenge to play. So yeah pretty disappointed to now be looking at having to do over from lvl 1 to get what I should've picked to start with
  12. Just tried soloing Mandalorian Raiders with a 32 Sith Jug Rage spec and can't do it with either Jaesa or Quinn. With Quinn I lose aggro on the first boss and as soon as he goes down I go down. With Jaesa I get spanked down after killing the first add. Guessing maybe with an immortal spec it might be a bit better but can't see how.
  13. So I'm playing Deception atm and I do get owned alot in pvp though not surprising as they don't come into their own until level 30+. I also find pve a bit of a pain but can see massive potential at later levels. Respecs are starting to get pricey but I've seriously starting thinking about madness as it is more stand off and kite than up front and positional which I have trouble with. It seems a bit low damage though compared to my current and reading the stickies and advice I can't see how viable it is for pvp at level 23. Would really value any advice.
