  1. Still doesn't annoy me quite as much as "I could care less" when they mean to say they COULDN'T care less..
  2. LOL. Nice to see I'm not the only one noticing (and getting annoyed at) that horrible way of wording.
  3. Saw a BH named Slam, with the legacy name Dunk. Cracked me up at least.
  4. How about the ability to bind abilities to any key that I want on my keyboard? You know, like pretty much every other PC game in the world has. For instance, for some retarded reason the key to the left of 1 (§) is a hotkey for sending a bug report, which can't be bound to anything else. That and other keybind limitations, combined with the fact that the number of abilities you get is hugely abundant in this game, is just plain idiotic. It should also be stupidly simple to fix.
  5. It is nice having a wide array of abilities, for the sake of seeing lots of different animations. But even those start mimicing each other, even within the same class. At least that's the case for me as a Sentinel. And when it comes to the effect/utility of the abilities: I just find myself pressing all the buttons in an order that's pretty much the same every fight. A little quality before quantity wouldn't have hurt. This game is desperately lacking in "oh snap"-abilities, the kind you just can't wait to train/spec. I haven't seen a single one to be honest.
  6. I support this. Personally I think there should also be an option to have hoods folded up/down, similar to hide head slot.
  7. Am I the only one who's noticed that in-game she looks considerably older than in the cinematics? In the cinematics she looks no older than 25 tops, while I would deem the in-game Satele to be at least 40.
  8. Actually, this turned out to be a lie. It doesn't matter what kind of headgear you use, the hide option will hide anything thus putting the hood on top. Disappointing.
  9. Thank you all for the replies, I suddenly feel much better about this.
  10. So I got my first robe-like outfit around level 12 or something, and was pretty excited to finally have that "proper" Jedi look... for about 10 minutes. Then I just wanted to cut off that stupid hood. There is a "hide head slot" option but unfortunately hoods don't count as headgear. My question is: Will this hiding of the character's head be enforced upon you as a Jedi player throughout the whole game, or will there eventually be any good looking robes that don't have hoods? I am level 23 and so far I haven't seen any, not even on high level players.
  11. Can't be bothered to list them all so I'll just focus on the one I like the most. And if I'm going to just pick one, out of all the things, then that would probably be the combat animations. That's what I'm liking the most for the moment anyway. Maybe not the quality of the animations though (which is still mostly superb) but rather the WIDTH of them. Instead of having one animation for almost every single one of your attacks they are actually completely unique in this game, every single one of them. And then there are so many abilities to boot. To me this means a great deal cause it really makes every single fight, even small ones while questing, so much more enjoyable to watch when there's such a wide array of things that can happen. Also, it just plain sucks when you wanna try out a different class but everything still feels so familiar in the gameplay. The work they've done with the animations really impressed me. Another thing: In WoW (yeah I know, the comparisons are getting tedious but just hear me out here) it probably didn't matter cause the damn damage numbers have gotten so huge and abundant that you rarely see what your character is doing anyway. In TOR I find the numbers pretty hard to notice most of the time, so it's basically the other way around: You see the action that's going on, and not numbers.
  12. Firstly, the §-button (to the left of 1 on my keyboard) can be bound in the options, but it doesn't matter cause when you press it in game you will always get the stupid ticket form window. Seriously, if I wanna open up a ticket I'll click my way to it, I don't need a hotkey for that. Secondly, the button that's between left shift and the Z-key (i make <>| with it) can't be bound at all. In any other game this is always possible for me. Maybe this will make no sense for people from other countries than mine with different key setups on their keyboards, but you should get the point anyway. Considering how you're being completely bombarded with abilities in this game it would be nice if the binding options were as wide as possible.
