  1. How would you expect Bioware to deliver on this? Make cappable flags on planetside? "Keeps" like in Warhammer online? What would be "having world PvP" be for you?
  2. That and community forums will spring up around a game any ways. No need to have "official" ones. On a side note however what's your idea for new content updates Balrizangor?
  3. Yeah I love goals like these. It goes from being a simple mission to turning in to a campaign. You put all this effort in to scouring the game for the various components and building it on the right forge and so on. It adds memories to the gear that can be a lot of fun. I too would be excited if this came in an update.
  4. See people come to this thread and say spiteful things like this. Why am I being attacked for wanting to have a discussion about the future of SWTOR? I'm not whining. There might be people here who do whine but I like the game. I don't play single player games forever either. Every so often a cool update is drummed out for my favorite single player game (looking at you Fallout 3) and I'm back with money on the table. It's no different for this game. I like it. I play it and I'm thinking about content updates. The most recent content update 1.2 was so awesome I resubbed immediately. I want to see more updates like this and especially more world events. (World PvP 4tw!) There might be people who would play it forever as is but I think most of us would want and expect cool updates. So use this thread to talk about the updates you'd like to see and would keep you going and energized. It's cool to see the ideas people have. Look at some of the things people would like to see. Building story, creature mounts, single player ranked, more character slots, character transfers, and toilets...
  5. More alien race options would be cool too. You mentioned always getting in to trouble. Wouldn't it be neat if they did have a few missions that were based on your species selection? I remember in other MMOs how different it felt if I made say a Dwarf Warrior versus a Elf Warrior. In SWTOR a smuggler is a smuggler is a smuggler I guess!
  6. You mean more character slots per server, right? You must really like your alts! Is it because you want to do a light side and dark side version of each story?
  7. Admittedly I don't think I've played any MMOs that have toilets as a feature...
  8. So in other words you're saying there is no magic bullet for you? You said that class stories are keeping the game going. What if they said they were going to add another two chapters on four of the classes in an upcoming update and then a month later add another two chapters for the other four classes? Would you be excited and resubscribe to see the content?
  9. Maybe I could have worded the subject line a little differently... Also doesn't this work both ways? If I'm going to play another three months then why not make a thread wondering what the next big thing is going to be. Actually my subscription was gonna run out right when the Legacy update went through. With all the cool changes they made I felt a lot more excited about what was to come and re-upped again. There could be people like me who like SWTOR but wouldn't just play forever with out content updates. In fact seeing as to how it's a MMO I think it's reasonable to expect content updates. So as a consequence talking to other people on the forums about content updates they would be excited about (excited enough to maintain their subscriptions) doesn't seem unreasonable.
  10. To keep up with a speeder they'd have to be some fast creatures. What sort of creatures would you like to ride around the station?
  11. Ah but if they implemented this would YOU commit to a three month subscription because you're so excited about the new offering?
  12. I feel the same way about Alderaan. At first I was just excited to be on a planet that had a good balance of environments and then I was like... ugh these house Politics just seem like stalemates. But the bonus series was a real winner. In fact in general I find I like the bonus series a lot better especially Nar Shadaa.
  13. For me I definitely feel that there's a lot of content to work through in this game! I actually have already subbed for another three. But there's some thing to be said for that "Jazz" factor. Where they promise to release some thing so cool that people say to themselves "I'm IN! Take my money! Let's do this!". I just want to hear what people would be excited about for the future of SWTOR.
  14. Title says it all. If Bioware said they intended to release a new mission that builds on the choices of prior missions every couple of weeks I would be super jazzed and they'd definitely keep me hooked and ready to commit to another three month sub. To expound on my idea: Take for example they added a mission after the result of the Voss Diplomacy. The decision you make there is meant to be a pretty big deal. A response mission that built on your prior decisions would be awesome. So your turn. Name just one thing that would keep you hooked for another season.
  15. Yeah I really liked Voss quite a bit so I can see what you're saying. Any one know the planets required for chapter 3?
  16. Seems so much shorter than chapter one. I heard there's three chapters. That would leave a lot of planets available for the last act.
  17. I noticed each of the classes in order to finish chapter one had to go to these planets: -Taris -Tatooine -Alderaan -Nar Shadaa These are in addition to the starting planet and the capital planet. Which planets are required to finish chapter 2?
  18. Do you have the ability to toggle your shields and damage? (Can't quite remember what it's called) You purchase the sucker from the vendor at fleet and it makes a tremendous difference. Use your toggle shields through the stretches where it's not critical to kill fighters and other nuisances. This will keep your health high so you don't go down. Be sure to save your missiles for priority targets and try to lead your shots when you are on the offensive. The trick to nearly every space mission is the ability to accurately time when to boost your blasters and when to boost your shields.
  19. Hmm... maybe we haven't finished then. OR I'm blind. Thanks for the tip though. Going to check it out now.
  20. Just did Voss with the ol'girlfriend and we really liked it. We play Republic side and haven't managed to find the bonus series yet. Any one willing to point us in the right direction?
  21. I loved starting out Hutt Ball this way. I don't understand why they removed it.
