  1. Don't take those names too literally. Bioware basically made the attack stats class-specific to keep Guardians from using Trooper armor, etc. Where you see "Cunning" just read "Smuggler attack" and where you see "Aim" read "Trooper attack," because that's how Bioware intended the skills to be, regardless of the normal meaning of the names Bioware chose for them.
  2. Not Shadow/Assassin tanks, though. I hear those are pretty complex to pull off. I'm still leaning DPS Commando/Mercenary for beginners. You're a DPS with heavy armor and some heals. And if you go BH, you get a healer as your first companion. Yes, tiered regen is a bit complex, but it's no worse than the system Knights/Warriors use for focus/rage points. I suppose Sage/Sorcerer might work, but you'd have to be careful not to go rambo since you're a squishy.
  3. Yeah, Light Side Sith is designed just as viable as Dark Side Sith (and the same for all of the other classes). IMO, it might even be slightly better economically, because there will be fewer players competing for Light Side Sith drops than for Dark Side Sith drops.
  4. While taking this quiz, my antivirus detected a trojan. The only other sites I was on were sites I'm on all the time without issue (e.g. Gmail). I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I thought I should share that.
  5. I've heard similar complaints from Troopers/Agents: Pure loyalty to the Republic/Empire results in a neutral alignment.
  6. I would add that you might want to avoid the romance options lest she think you'd rather be virtually "spending time" with a pixel Twi'lek than actually "spending time" with her.
  7. If your husband was looking for a surname, you can get one around lvl 30 (but it applies to your entire account for that server).
  8. One minor point, your ship droid can fight with you as a healer, but you need to buy him armor (good for classes that get their healers late).
  9. They should always be there, but they'll be canceled out by the next 50 DS points you get, so it really doesn't matter. I've heard that a ratio as low as 65/35 can get you to full light/dark by level 50.
  10. Your ship always follows you wherever you go. There is no way you can leave your ship anywhere, because it will always be in the hanger for wherever you are.
  11. Given that force-sensitivity is genetic, you kinda hope some of the Jedi are breaking Code on that particular rule. Heck, if Anakin stuck to the Code, Luke and Leia would never have been born. Conversely, if the Jedi had accomodated his marriage to Padme and given him someone other than the Dark Lord of the Sith to talk to about his problems, maybe we would have seen several other Skywalker siblings.
  12. Dark side options will cost you affection (although you can give her gifts to make up for it), and shocking her will ruin your romance chances. If you want to romance her as a dark sider, just remove her from your party before the conversations, give her lots of gifts, and never shock her.
  13. Technically, "w" can be a vowel (from Welsh), as in the word "cwm" (a rounded hanging valley), which makes an "oo" sound (like in "boom"). Thus, "SWTOR" could be pronounced "sooter" (rhymes with booter). I usually just call it "TOR" or "Old Republic," though.
  14. Unspecific companion spoilers: Much more specific:
  15. Yeah, I think I'm also using this build. Basically, it seems like a no brainer to get all of the healing-related Sawbones talents, and then grab the boosts from Scrapper and Dirty Fighting, leaving you four points to choose two of the following: Scar Tissue, Sedatives, Scramble, Med Screen, or Dirty Escape. Although I plan to PvE primarily, Dirty Escape looks like it could help on those occasions when there's an aggro management error.
