/signed. Another MMO made medpac (the equivalent of it) usable only once per in combat. People stopped using them or carrying them, making it harder for healers to keep them up. Then they nerfed energy regen for healers... (which they are already doing to sages/sorcs) more than a few threads there started a movement to have 1-2 minute cd on them again. And 2 years later they changed it back. I am just going to say I've been thrilled to play a game that is based on something iconic as Star Wars, but they are slowly breaking down all the reasons I like it as an MMO and not just a game with glowsticks. At least they finally gave in and allowed Jedi (like Mace Windu) to finally use purple sabers... There are a few threads where dps are asking for in combat heals... I forsee much more QQ from them if this change takes effect. (and no I don't support them, just tired of seeing them cry)

I thought it would be relevant since the movies are the inspiration to the game. Plus the end game gear, rakata/battlemaster gear have stats "Baked" into them so Orange modable gear does not apply. Anyhow I just wanted to see if we could get some support for the thread from the forum being watched by those who discuss Star Wars.

Really... can you imagine obiwan with a fan on his head and turtles on his hands?? Where is the futuristic Samurai inspired gear?? Oh look another person got their Battle master gear on their Jedi Knight... I think Ironman is in the wrong mmo... Makes the abbreviation for Jedi Knight (JK) kinda literal. I was super happy to dress like a slave girl/republic dancer from level 10-49... but good lord... a girl can't keep her swag in a potato sack... What are your thoughts on gear in game compared to the gear in the movies we love so much?

My husband is a Shadow Tank and he solo's 3 people at caps. Keeps them off objectives and is very hard to kill. It does take him a little longer to kill people but if I'm healing him and he has guard on me, it takes about 4 people pounding on my head to get us off an objective. Tanks are built to last. They hold off the enemy while we either take out another objective or come to help them defend. I really am not sure if you are expecting to be able to kill other players faster as a tank, but my personal opinion is that tanks rock in pvp. I stay away from the enemy tanks but stick very close to my own teams tanks. I think that once you balance your gear out you'll have a lot of fun soloing objectives hehe.

Usually when I want a thread to die... I don't reply to it so it doesn't get bumped. Usually works itself out. Although there are a few posts with really stubborn and vocal people who keep their threads alive regardless of reason lol

Holy crap wall of text... and while I am sympathetic to some of your issues... I think you should be posting this as the starter to a thread rather than posting it on a thread that you are completely not adressing at all... This is a very long winded troll post lol

I don't agree that Social Points should be a PvE only "thing". PvP is very social especially since we PvP with people from the same server. I've made more friends through PvP than through pugging ops/flashpoints. Social points should be for anything "Social" and voting for other people seems pretty social to me, especially if you are helping friends to get their 4 medals because they were defending east/west (snow/grass) in civil war or watching the door NOT being attacked in Voidstar, or yanking people into the endzone in Huttball. They were all helping and doing a job in the PvP zone and may not have the medals to reflect it. Voting helps them out, so why can't we get something for being "Social" and acknowledging that they are doing awesome even though the game does not recognize their contribution and voting for them?? While I understand that Bioware has introduced us to Social points via PvE content, we currently lack Social Points in OPS... and who is to say they shouldn't change the format of this under-developed system they call being Social?

Planting a quick travel point you can share with your party/ops group would be AMAZING!! As to how to get it. It would be nice if you could get this quick travel "banner" from either Social OR Legacy (but not both combined please). Social points are atm kind of a pain to get unless you do dailies with a full group or farm Essles/Black Talon with a full group over and over and over and over and over.... again. I would be ok with this being Social 10 item (Social X) OR Legacy level 25/30, as most people are close or past Legacy level 20 right now. PS. I would like them to put more Social point opportunities in game. See this post.

I posted this on another forum hope it helps. There is an app for iPhone called Companion Remote Desktop. It's like splash top but specifically for companions. ($2.99??) I think android users can get it through amazon but i'm not sure about it. Splash top is $4.99 when on special sometimes, it's $20 when reg priced I think, but might not be able to work for some mouse clicks. (sorry pricing for my HP tablet, dunno the price for phones, hopefully less). I don't think they can ban remote desktops since you are viewing your desktop/computer through your phone, so that should work. Hope you find something you like

I myself was frustrated at the grapple point that is at the top that kept bugging us out into the ceiling above the spaceship. That one point alone took us 45 min to get someone up there. Thank god we had sages in our group that could grip people up to the point in front of the door then to the door itself or it would have taken forever. I would appreciate a codex for the datacron as, the first time I did the datacron, we weren't sure we got it until we tried to help another group and could NOT loot the blue crystal again. This made it frustrating because we were helping others to get the datacron but could not get into the area ourselves even with the red crystal from Corellia. I'd appreciate this to be worked on.

Been queing all night and keep getting the afker in my warzone. Please give me some way to never have to see him in a warzone again.

Doesn't seem necessary to have cut scene EVERY TIME you get Voidstar. Over 100 ques of this is making it redundantly redundant. I think Satele Shan likes to hear her own voice heh... Anyhow... this warzone can be lost before it even starts just because of the cut scene/speeder ride especially if people drop out and new people come in but have to still ride the speeder. Lame.

I think they did 3 per warzone so people would stop leaving lost matches and stay till end. I do think that if you get 3 no matter what, that it should be 3 for loosing and 6 for winning. But that is my opinion. /shrug

I have 2 people on my server as well who afk in warzones... they don't stealth but I see their little pink bodies in lala land on my map... sleeping in a trash bin in huttball... behind the turret in civil war... hanging out behind crates in voidstar... /facedesk I've been yanking them out of hiding spots so they can be killed and time out but sometimes they aren't afk just D-bags and not engaging in combat on purpose. I personally would like to /ignore them and never worry about queing with them again... I'd totally be willing to wait longer for warzones to que if I never had to carry these fools to Battlemaster. Besides if they are notorious for afking most of the server will /ignore them and the problem will alleviate itself.

/NO there is hardly any motivation to do them other than creds and vanity items... a repair bill would just make space missions pointless. The only way I'd endorse this... is if they FIRST put in a SPACE OPS, and even then... yeah... no.

/Agree Remove expertise from gear and make PvE gear = PvP gear with different requirements to get them. Level the playing field for all. Please and Thank you

As much as I agree with server pops being extremely low, I think they would have to work out new legacy names for those who are transferring and which servers would be allowed transfer. My server is still pretty decent, the imps outnumber us about 3:1 if not more, but it's not desolate yet. I would not want to transfer off (especially since I love my legacy name) but would gladly welcome more players. Good luck

The only spaceport I know that has a purpose is Quesh as you need to get inoculated before entering atmosphere... Ilum/Belsavis have the quests on them that open up dailies but that can be moved... Escape pods are supposedly for people who are "Visiting" your ship. So they can exit if you go afk (supposedly, I haven't tested them personally yet)

I am going to agree with the OP that hairstyle 21 is the only one I like on my girls. Some of the chin length hairstyles could be better if the bangs didn't block her eyes or if the non-bang styles showed less forehead. I am kinda partial to 9 but I wish it wasn't SO short in the back. And the princess Leia side buns... (11 and 13) aren't the same color as the hair... they seem grey and wrapped in fabric. /sad 14 looks like friar tuck... adding a little pony tail or side burns don't help the situation... 18 looks extremely masculine I really like the look of 23 EXCEPT for the little ponytail on top 24 seems like it would be Halle Berry inspired but still WAY too much forehead. What the... is going on with 25/27?! looks like a bantha sat on her head!!! 31 is decent but if it could be 1/2 way down her back at least would be a nice style (almost like princess leia with her hair down visiting the ewoks...) 35 is another masculine one reminiscent of Iman. And while 36 the mohawk is very punk... until we can change hair at a barber at will in game I don't think too many players will pick this one. (unless you add a pink hair option heh) 40 is okay... 39 it's counterpart is horrid 41... oh 41... if you only didn't look like Chewbacca's rear... Anyhow... 21 is still my fave... I would like to see the long ponytail from Leia's slave girl scene put in, and perhaps something like Rachel from "Friends"?? I understand coding takes time... but it would be nice to have one day more options... Please and thank you!!
