Hello, thanks for taking the time to check out my topic I'll cut right to the chase. I've been away from the game since the Release of KotFE and am now returning to scratch the MMO Itch so I'm looking for a Guild that's Raiding as that was my favorite thing to do before my break. A Little background about me, I'm Tex, I'm 25 and until this recent break I played every day since beta. I have leveled All 16 advanced classes to Level 60 and am In the process of bringing them all up to 65, Currently I have my Powertech, Marauder and Merc at level. I am Familiar with every fight in every difficulty it comes in, I've cleared HM ToS and Ravagers when it was level 60 as well as done the Nightmare mode fights of the older content in Both Ranged and Melee DPS roles. As Far as Raid times go my Schedule is pretty flexible and I am willing to commit to killing a boss no matter how long it takes. Hello All, I'm looking for a guild that runs story-nightmare mode content that is looking for a Quality DPS I've been around since beta and cleared most of the pre 4.0 content in its hardest applicable difficulty either at Home on the Harbinger or on the Shadowlands. I just received a sub card for Christmas and was looking to get some operation Runs in and hopefully find a new home in-game since I planned on staying subbed to the game. I've played pretty much any class in any spec that you could want and never shy away from a fight. Currently I have a Powertech and a Merc at 65 but admittedly their gear is pretty terrible (I'm talking Hard Mode ToS/Rav). If you are looking for some other class to I have all 16 AC's on the Harbinger and can level them no problem. Hi Everyone, I'm not here to waste anyone's time so I'll get right to the point. For the past several years have I been running a Raid Group in my Current Guild, We saw Success in both HM and NiM DF/DP, have full cleared the level 60 Story Content and are Currently Working on Hard Mode. All 8 of us and a small handful of other people are the only active members of our Current Guild and we've come to the conclusion that we would like to seek out a more active Guild. Any Guilds with Multiple Raid groups during the week, Guild Bank and Ship as well as players that enjoy PvP would be preferred. The 8 of us that make up our current Raid Group would like to pick up where we left off with our HM Progression and wouldn't need any help getting going and the others of us are open to raids when our schedule allows it. Back pre and right up to 2.0 My Main Character for PvP and PvE was my Powertech Long Story Short our raid Groups Marauder quit the game and we wanted a Bloodthrist, I was the only one With a Marauder so I switched to playing on it Every day. Anyway on to my question, I want to run a Powertech Tank Spec in PvP again as he has been shelved since right after 2.0 I have read the tanking guide to get brought up to speed with the changes to the class since then but I have not really seen what the general Consensus is For PvP Is The full 36 Point Tank Spec the way to go? Is there some sort of Crazy Hybrid i'm not Seeing when I look at the Talent Tree? Currently I'm using a 36/8/2 Tank Build That's Really more of a Bluky Super Annoying DPS kind of thing If you could offer any Tips or Tricks or anything that would be awesome. I don't Normally Post on the Forums but here goes something. Devs, What is your intended goal with this Class? Every Spec and Every AC in the game serves some role in a Raid by design correct? Then please enlighten us as to what that is for the Powertech. The way I see it is that if you REALLY REALLY want us to only be Tanks then come out and Say it. Now answering that question opens a whole other can of worms obviously something along the lines of "If you want us to be a tank why no pure tank class?" Now, im not looking for that but I want a Straight up answer from Bioware. What is the intended design of the Powertech Bounty Hunter? Its not a monster of a question but its one that absolutely NEEDS to be answered.

That is one of the lamest excuses I have ever heard from a game company, there should be a team of people to balance classes not one person. I understand staffing limits ect. but this seems to be a much more important part of the game than some other things. On a Related Note Bioware, if you want more people to work on class balance than someone that plays 2 classes and is more than likely overworked, I'll do it for free.

I love how popular this thread has been, and similar threads since 2.0 yet the devs seem to think nothing of it. Its really sad that more community members have come up dozens of decent ideas to re balance this class and yet we aren't even getting a nod in our general direction.

I would Like to take my Pyro PT into Raids again and not feel like im the most useless DPS there, I know that its how you play the class that matters but Even then I've been kicked from raids because of the fact that my class "isn't one of the best classes" so "why should we take you?" The issue was not bringing PT's down to the same level as the other Tank/Heal and DPS AC's but You guys over did it. That causes more people to roll more Flavor of the Month Classes so they can raid and not feel useless which is inherently wrong because this game should be played in the Spec you want from the class you want.
