I agree completely, but it can't be any worse than people igniting/sheathing their lightsabers all the time.

An MMO having long runs and travel is symbolic to getting immersed into the world you're playing in. It's the build up and journey of your character and your true appreciation for that mount you get at X level and whatever movement abilities you get later on. It's about the journey, not the instant gratification of pointless quick travel like some games have now. I've never played a good MMO that didn't have these things. Did you play SWG? Try biking across Tatooine for 45 minutes and then come talk to me.

I meant Hood Up/Down as a similar option to hiding your helm and macros for certain combat abilities like /cast strike if 0 "focus" /cast slash if 3 "focus" /repeat Something like that, obviously refined and better parameters.
