I was affected by this, but to a slightly lesser degree. It caused me to have to repair a lot of files after wasting all that time downloading the patch, but not 37 files, and as a result completely destroyed my time to play during the morning. I had to leave my computer on all day just to run the darn repair.

It's absolute junk. I won't stick around if it means a anymore waiting as of launch day. Amazon is going to be refunding me $150 after this if they can't fix the issue. 1300 person line to login to a server is bull.
