On an odd note earlier today hoping to fight off some boredom and with the announcement of the Rift expansion, I said hey ill sign up take a quick look around. Its been months since ive played Rift. I thought it would be good and who knows maybe id get hooked a bit and hang out for the expansion. The downside being the shard I was playing on was turned into a trial shard. So i banged my head on the desk for a bit decided it wasnt worth the effort trying to find a server and transfer my guild and stuff, and I quit. At least it was only 14.99 wasted. Maybe months down the line I can look forward to the fun in Swtor! Please dont make us empty out the guild bank! That crap sucks!

Well the reasons I am still subscribed are only really two. Bioware and Star Wars. I have hope that the 2 put together can still deliver great things. Although I really dont play much at all anymore, Im still hanging onto the sub for awhile in the hopes something is down the road. But by the end of the year if i dont see much, ill probably give up and unsub. And I suppose the number one reason I am no longer playing actively is Tera. While it suffers many of the problems that Swtor does, it is a much smaller market game with great combat that i really enjoy. This may be the other factor on if i come back. I couldnt even stomach Diablo3s crappy click to move combat after Tera. Im not sure how i will feel about Swtors. But all in all Swtor was fun for the months I played and I enjoyed it so Im holding out hope for awhile, speaking with my wallet that I hope they can get some fun injected back in. But if not Ill speak with my wallet in the bad way =(

Cant be bothered to look up the thread or link but they have already released a statement saying that they are aware that people playing star wars would like their equipment to look more like Star Wars. Why they thought we didnt I have no idea. But as mentioned in the article design adjustment takes time so we are stuck with what we got. And in the future they will try to stay more true to Star Wars.

This. It is a credit/time sink. It isnt suppose to be something that a week from now you have everything you want unlocked.

Maybe you can get them to buy some of the new guild bank tabs tomorrow before they do!

It all depends on the problems with it. there have been MMO's that have added content with the first boss in a new area bugged. Basically locking it even if it is there. Now if killing a boss caused the server to crash i would like to think they would pull it. or for example if without cross server queus yet, adding ranked pvp caused the waittime to jump to 60 minutes, then yes, Im glad they stopped it. So i guess in short, all bugs/problems are not created equal.

That is when you hang your head in shame and say, "If only i was better' or "Perhaps i should ask him how he did that, because he was clearly better then I am' or you could always go to the forums and post about how what ever class it was, is way overpowered at level 10 and they need their 1 attack nurfed into the ground.

Because while Im not a hard core pvper it is still fun. Well except when I loose. Then it sucks. Well unless I top the meters, then I can feel good about what I did and blame everyone else.

that is because there is no easy way to do their job so even ghostcrawler quit being ghostcrawler. It gets to the point where every sentance they ever say is taken as a promise and anything that doesnt fit it, is made to riot over. For example say what you will about Developer communication, but if they never mentioned ranked pvp for this patch, would we be where we are right now? Now you could argue that they may have lost subs because of the lack of info, but that is hard to gauge.

You would think if it bothered them that much they would just stop letting you kill them. And if they are bad enough that they cant even do that, then i suppose it really shouldn't bother you. I suppose you could reply with, 'Can you let me know when you are going to join a WZ. Not because I want to come kill you, but because I don't want to chance you ending up on my team and dragging my greatness down with with horrible deadedness.' or go with the ever popular, 'Man the republic almost got us this time. If only more people of your skill level would reroll Rep, they would win some of these!'

I always thought Vanilla was the time I was playing before the other guy started playing. So i have something to hold over him and tell him how cool it use to be.

I'm looking forward to the crying. I know I'm a ****** like that. Who doesn't love hearing people complain about class nurfs? I'm also looking forward to the new modable UI. Also looking forward to anything that makes it easier to level alts. Yeah I'm one of those. Get over it.

I would like to care, but never having played any MMO where they did swimming well, Im glad they didnt bother. I didnt need another underwater area i had to suffer through.

Hehe clipping is fun. Every time i raise my arms in WoW my shoulder pads crush my head. Although it is funny, since some of the things they said they left out were left out for the problems some of them would cause with animations and what not. Then to see some of the clipping so bad in some of the cut scenes. You cant help but wonder if an Ithorian would have been so bad.

Ive tried all three trees, as a tank i had no real fear of dying. But it was slow slow slow. Inlf. was faster but still felt slow since i wasn't very good with energy management. So i might just be an idiot. Blanace to me has been rocking. With the ability to Combat stance for the extra protection and bubble for the companion for harder fights, and still push out the damage im enjoying it. Although the compansion is so freakin slow. Why does that damn lizard take 10 minutes to start every fight!! Although i am only level 34 so maybe when i move up a planet everything will go to hell.

Oddly enough Ive found that it appears different mobs seem to be different. There are some elites that hit as hard as weak mobs, and some strong mobs that hit as hard as elites. and not all strong mobs hit like trucks. Id go as far to say most of them are little more threat then their weak counter parts. Although there are a handful of them in specific locations that have pointed out to me that i was getting a bit careless.

I would like to agree with you in theory, but I would like to point out that anyone having problems with weak or even strong mobs that die so damn easily is flat out bad.

Im really not sure what everyone is looking for. I would be really suprised if anywhere in the near future is there is a MMO that will be considered a main stream success that everyone would consider a true MMO. WoWs success has ruined that option. And Add in the fact that while a large percentage of people want to play an 'MMO' they would much rather do content alone then have other people getting in the way. So with that in mind game developers make MMOs in which a large portion of the game can be done alone. Why force people to group when the dont want too? Heck WoW went through and removed group quest and Elites, because they were getting in the way of people trying to level. So maybe if you are lucky a small company some where will make a true MMO in which no one can get anywhere without a group.

Ive enjoyed playing the game with my gf, questing, fps, warzones. Although she swears alot and throwns things in warzones so she scares me =(
