they share less then 1/3 of the same rotational skills. Having them and using them are 2 very different things.

if you actually knew the classes you would know a powertech has a bit more in common with a juggernaught then a mercenary... both are melee classes that can tank or DPS... so where is your reasoning there... if you are just going by what is similar.

just curious how many more times are you guys gonna drop the ball with transfers before you actually get them going. You really screwed up a great number of people this week not doing transfers. Its been more then a year since you first proved you could transfer someone and now you claim more the a year later they don't work? I do not give a damn about achievments, i do care about getting my main to a new server to the guild i joined to do nightmare mode with.

its nice to get updates... but this is exactly what happens when EA takes over a company and fires everyone who is half way intelligent. Server transfers work. You did them a year ago when you merged the server, you just moved everyone off the Oceanic servers. This is a load of crap now. If EA spent the money that any intelligent company would on makin this game work you wouldn't have these problems. There was no massive bugs on the PTS, which means you changed something after bringing the PTS down and ou screwed the pooch. Sorry but this crap is getting old. Bioware before EA was smart enough to not promis anything before they knew what was what, now after EA you say something but then before the patch goes live you screw up and spout out some BS excuse.

no its less the what other games charge... he just lacks the ability to add. Moving 9 characters in this game is 120 bucks, moving 9 character in say wow is 225 bucks. That is over 100 bucks cheaper, how is this game a rip off? The answer is it is not, the OP is simply a self entitled cry baby that wants everything handed to him for basically nothing.

for US players its 25 dollars. Eruos are a different currency with a differetn exchange rate and different pricing due to different region.

in wow its 25 bucks per toon. Here its 1800 CC... here is some simple math for you simple people... Buying 40 bucks worth of CC coins gets you 5500 cartel coins. That is 3 character transfers for 40 bucks. In wow that is 75 bucks, so almost double what it is in this game.

dude you lack the ability to understand that you are wrong. The advanced class is you class for the game. that is what the devs have said and guess what they devs will always be right. Guardian and Sentinel are the classes that share the jedi knight story.

a sorc doesn't use their light saber. The only thing they share is the story.

they really do not use the same abilities. They both use slash and master strike but that is where they stop being the same. a powertech will almost never use unload while its a major part of a merc rotation. Just like a merc will never use flamethrower rotatonally and its very important to powertechs. The more you post the more you prove you have 0 grasp of the classes in this game.

it effects game play completely... an assassin is NOTHING like a sorcerer. A commando plays nothing like a vanguard. You still do not understand. The Vanguard is the class. When you log in and play your character on the unit frame it has your name and your class under it. And once you pick your CLASS it never says jedi knight again or bounty hunter or trooper. It says guardian, powertech, or commando. I'm sorry you lack the ability to understand it but that is how it is. Just because you cannot grasp it doesn't make it less true.

the thing is PvPers for the most part need the gear because they are the idiots that get stomped without it. PvEs progression is so that when you get the gear from one raid you are geared enough to start the next. Not to mention gear doesn't get you though a raid, anyone whos raided anything on nightmare will tell you that.

like i said you simply lack the ability to understand. The jedi knight is not the class, it is the class story. The classes are guardian and sentinel that are associated with the jedi knight story.

Jedi Knights do not have talent trees... They have a common story. The classes are guardian and Sentinel. When you look in your guild listing does it tell you someone is a jedi knight or if they are a sentinel. There are 8 classes per faction, and 4 stories per faction. It is not 4 classes. If you do not understand it you never will you simply lack simple common sense.

wow has 1 talent tree, and gives you the option of 3 talent specs. The 3 specs for a warrior are Arms Fury and Protection. That is the exact same as a Guardian not a jedi knight. Guardians get a tank tree and 2 DPS trees. That is the same as warrior in WoW. A sentinel is a pure DPS class much like a rogue in wow minus the stealth. They have acess to 3 DPS trees just like a sent

you still do not get it... they put it that way because they do not want to ever say it will never happen so they make the answer political. They will not do AC swaps they know it will ruin the game.

no you are wrong. If you are a Sentinel that is your class you have 3 specs to choose from. A Guardian is a completely different class which has 3 specs in it. The wow analogy works just fine.
