  1. It's a game. You play a game to become something you obviously cannot in real life. Why do people shoot a gun in FPS? I would never do that in real life, not against any living being at least. I hate using this line, but I will say it again in bold, just for you: It's a video game
  2. Swtor wiki doesn't seem to have any answers on this subject. I know it has a flat out 5% chance to proc, that can be increased by talents and other buffs and it absorbs 20% of incoming damage, when it activates. But will it absorb all kind of damage? Kinetic / Energy and Internal / Elemental? Is it possible to absorb more than 20% of the damage, when you get higher level shield generators? If someone could answer me, that would be cool ( or provide a link, since I'm too stupid to find one myself ) Thanks.
  3. Guess they're too busy on the forums
  4. I must admit I am not impressed. There's no reward for open world PvP and we only get 3 Warzones, where Huttball is the most played, and the worst in my opinion. PvP is rather balanced tho, but it feels slow and clucky compared to other MMO games I've played. I play this game for the story. Was hoping it would have grandscale PvP ala Warhammer ( just better of course ), since it is a Starwars game... Y'know, Sith vs Jedi? Empire vs Republic? Not these 2 factions vs random creaures around the world. I barely even feel the Republic's presence when I play this game. No hating, but I cannot avoid the fanbois forever.
  5. Just report people if you're unhappy with their reply. You can get a warning for just using a bad word, that's not even censured ( such as "Idiot" or "Hell" )
  6. Guys. I think we're being trolled hard by this thread starter and some of his friends.
  7. Since most people on this forum disagree with being able to change AC ( usually the first to comment ), how about an XP boost for your second playthrough, of the same class? Once you reach level 50 with the first of course. I have a level 47 Sith Sorc and I would really love to play an Assassin tank, but going through that story again is not something I would enjoy, at all. I still think it's silly we cannot change AC. It would be "ok" if both our ACs had a different story, but since that's not the case, why force ( lulpun ) us to play the same class, twice? At least make the second time easier. Disagree/Agree/Comment/Fanboyism?
  8. I had about 223k credits at level 25. You just don't know how to use the auction house or save money.
  9. That server is going to explode soon. More and more keep joining, even tho the queues at prime time are already at 60 mins.
  10. I've healed ALL ( Read that word again, ALL ) 4 Heroic quests as a lightning specced sorc. Most of the times, I didn't even have a dedicated tank either. I'm currently level 31. Smart players will use CC, pull slow and talk to each other to complete the 4 heroic quest. It might take a bit longer, but you will get it done. I've met DPS specced people, who refuse to go w/o a proper healer and tank. I kick these and let them have fun being useless.
  11. We hurt too much, can't stay this way forever. Any person with a good pair of eyes can tell this. We can easily crit 1000-1500 higher than most other classes. My friend's sage highest crit ever must've been around the 1900-2000, on a light armor class, while I can easily do 3500-4000 to same armor targets. Cover is instant, reduce all ranged damage by 20% and you can't interrupt me. I'll keep destroying people in PvP until they nerf this class, but maybe they wont! Please keep defending this class so I can keep wrecking balls, its fun.
  12. I don't mean to stroke my e-peen, but I do agree slicing is rather akward at this current state. My sith inq is level 24 at the moment and I currently run around with roughly 190.000 credits ( After spending 14k on a robe and about 10k on AH ). Not sure how much value credits have compared to WoW gold ( 100.000 Credits = 1 gold? ), but I feel stinking rich. My friends, who're 19 and 18 are running around with barely 25k each.
  13. When I make groups, I actually have no trouble finding tanks, but healers is another story. My theory is that, when you spend points in the tank tree, you actually get abilities that boost your damage, making soloing as a tank much more pleasent. But healer trees don't have that. I can understand that healers being able to do damage would unbalance the game somewhat, but I believe that's why there are so few of them around. I tried leveling as corruption, then I switched to lightning. Much much faster + AoE. I'd hate to sound wowish, but a dual spec system would be awesome. I know I will get flamed a lot for suggestion that, but it's ok, I got my suit on. P.S: It started out as a question, but ended up with a suggestion, pardon me.
  14. Please.... save me from this madness
