  1. white beam has 15-25 on fleet during peak.....hutball?? whats that?
  2. i've heard lots of whining and QQ'ing from people about stuff that is not really such a big deal in the grand scheme of things..... this, however is not one of them. BW...EA....I sincerely hope you are paying attention to this problem, because IT IS A GAME BREAKER! you have a product with high potential here, but if you choose to ignore or procrastinate with an EXTREMELY important, basic, fundamental mechanic like server pop.... It will end up failing hard! And that would be a cryin shame. your not the only game out there, you need to step it up with the elementry stuff if you're gonna compete. dead servers is what happened to warhammer, another good but failed mmo that didnt address the server pop issue adequately.
  3. I like how this poster first claims how "spoiled" he is by his 'o so wondermous WoW' and then hates on KotOR for being a "WoW clone" go back to WoW if you want . dated kiddy cartoon game that it is, blech! cant stand that garbage. what is it 8-9 years now? and it slowly gets worse and worse...pandas for god's sake. what next purple kittens that fart pink scratch n sniff stickers? spoiled by WoW lmao...geez....i mean really. I do like KotOR tho, and after only a few months of running, i have had more fun than WoW EVER imagined in all its years. No sorry there is no comparison KotOR blows WoW out of the water even with its launch issues and early game lifetime wrinkles. I'm not sayin there arent things that need work, but it will come. In the mean time its nice to have new ideas\mechanics rolling around.
  4. lmao! i'm cracking up reading the "whats the fun in life if you cant sit on a cactus?" arguments. cause honestly... thats what 4 hours of running missions and never getting one to pop that yields what you need amounts too. If you enjoy sitting on a cactus, more power too ya, but most people dont enjoy this practice and certainly dont seek it out for the fun of it. randomness in material availability is not logical. there are always materials in the universe available, they dont randomly dissappear and then come back later after you have run a bunch of other pointless missions. they always exist all the time, you just decide what you are attempting to acquire, maybe you succed, maybe you dont, but you DONT look around the galaxy going "whoa dude...whered all the thermionic gel deposits go? guess i'll just go get some power crystals, that i dont need, 'till the universe decides to plop some more out." So yeah, I find the "real life" argument weak, to say the least. and as for the dude threatening the relog work around with banning... seriously?!... we're all shaking in our boots. There is nothing fun about this, ehem....."feature"....that adds to the game, it simply detracts from its enjoyment for the vast majority of players. it is a significant problem on a rather long list, that has made crafting one of the top complaints about the game. It has potential, but its got a ways to go. keeping at least one type of mission yield in each bracket at all times (excepting the current level bracket which still may not have a full roster of missions yet) is the easy fix for this issue. then if you think you need to gather unneeded mats before you feel that its morally exceptable to go after the mats you need...its your choice...knock yourself out.
  5. eh...nobody's twisting your arm arm to be here.......no really......GTHO!
  6. by far the most annoying for me is spending loads of credits on gathering missions that yield mats I dont need in the hopes that i'll eventually get a mission that does. Then when I do get the mission i need, I dont get the mat that i was hoping for from it, and then it just goes away again, andand i'm back to dropping loads of credits to get it back... SCREW YOU BW! you think thats funny?!! hair poking through hats! OMG!! that's so nintendo 64! channeled abilities that get stuck on for the next 5 mins. OK! He's dead, sheesh! why do my companions always have to stare at my arse?! it really makes me uncomfortable. My arse is so huge in this robe that my companion cant stop gawking at it! the CD on fleet pass....are you kidding me?.....absurd.... and seriously....quit with the gathering mission crap already....i hate that BS...
  7. ....@Uruare... ....that totally just gave me wood...
  8. glad I dont craft....all this reminds me of my boring snore of a job. I'll stick to the fun parts myself.
  9. I have several alts, none of which are over 30. So this opinion is not coming from an end gamer. After cleaning out my credits crafting on a few toons, and having nothing that was any better than quest gear or commendation gear, (accept a couple mods that were obsolete in a couple levels, and no credits to buy skills or other useful things) I dumped crafting all together. easier and quicker to farm commendations. The kicker was when my main had to wait till level 29 to regain enough credits to finally buy a speeder. So frustrated I gave up on crafting all together. So yeah, even for non-endgamers...crafting could use some significant tweaking...its just not very rewarding... end of story.
  10. Could we also add to this list, the issue with tapped gathering nodes that players leave uncollected, and therefor remain useless for everyone indefinately. This is a moronic design flaw. Several planets are saturated with inaccessable nodes at any given time. Dromand Kaas and Coruscant have less than 50% of their nodes accessable half the time. This is mostly due to simple ignorance or impatience on the part of the players who tap them, but it has the potential for malicious exploitation to manipulate market prices by decreasing supply. All that needs to be done is to have the node reset if it is not collected after being tapped...simple.
