  1. Nothing at this point. The game has run its course for me. Fun game. I'm just burnt out and had my fill of it. Put more hours into it than any game in many years for me. I have a sub till Aug, but not really planning on playing much again. Got an Imp to level 50, and Rep to 44, and the interest just isn't there any more.
  2. spare me the 15 year old sarcasm. I ask an honest question as to what you actually do in game because I cant find a single thing that brings me enjoyment. And the internet prognosticators must be right because my server has hardly anyone on at peak hours. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out when nobody is home, the door will remain closed.

Then why are you playing?

There are plenty of threads talking about things to do, just search for the common "what is there to do at 50?" type of thread, and inevitably someone will have listed a bunch of things. If none of them sound interesting to you, it's really ok to stop playing if you are not having fun. MMOs are not for life, and are not your gf/bf, so it's not like a life commitment.

  3. I think the Imperial Agent story is the best of them. The Trooper story was good, but it's a bit repetitious in its theme for me. Really lost interest in the low 40s. The smuggler was too mercenary for me, not really the smuggler I wanted to play. I thought the Consul story for part 1 was very boring.
  4. na, those aren't creative enough. They have been used as titles in too many other mmos.

    What about....

    Datamaster "Name" (pub version)

    Datalord "Name" (emp version)

    The Completionist

    The Legacy Technician

The Wanderer ** I like this one

    "Name" the Data Seeker

I shall continue to post ideas. Anyone like any so far?

How about "<name>, Bored Silly"? :D

  5. The neediness of mmo players cracks me up. Just yesterday this was posted on the dev tracker seeking input:

"Hello everyone! James Ohlen, Game Director for Star Wars: The Old Republic, is looking for your feedback on the game's development once again. This week he's looking out to the stars... and the planets of the Star Wars universe..."

  6. Because those types of groups tend to really suck. For one, grouping is social, and you can never say a thing. I've found that the people that tend to burn through stuff like that are jerks, especially if things go wrong, and they have an attitude of "you guys suck, and all this great stuff is happening for you because of me". Don't forget what was already mentioned about looting chests. So just pass on the experience, and the type of person that flocks to it. Been there, done that.
  7. I just don't get the infatuation with player housing. I thought UO's and SWG's implementation even hindered the game. EQ2, AO, and LOTRO did it right with optional areas. I still think it's a waste of time so that people can play house, or other things in private.
  8. You must be really bored if you want to play that. :/

I didn't play it much. Just enough to get a feel for it. I pretty much try all new MMOs unless the community scares me off like Tera. GW2 is a no-brainer for me considering there is no subscription fee.

Hopefully, after another week or two break from SWTOR, it will seem fresh enough for me again. I tried to play last night, but the WZ queues were quite slow. I may have to find a new server.

  9. All I can say is that after getting a char to 50, I decided to take a week break. Now I cannot seem to play longer than 10-20 minutes before losing interest in leveling alt, and I have no interest in doing anything with my level 50. I rather continue playing "Legends of Grimrock", or GW2 beta.
  10. Don't sweat it. The guy literally has no clue what he is talking about. I've played MMOs since UO pre Trammel split and I remember what people were playing back in Daoc's prime. In NA it was EQ and Daoc. You also had games like UO and AC but Daoc and EQ were the big two.

There really was only UO, EQ1, DAoC, and AC to pick from in NA. Played them all. A big part of EQ1's success is due to not having any real competition. DAoC came along and lessened the stupid downtime, then eventually WoW showed up and put an end to ridiculous down time. I have actually read a book while playing EQ1 when having to solo. :)

  11. Call me funny names, but I don't care about the cliche back story on why I have to kill something n times, or fetch item x. I listen to the main class line, but that's about it. It's especially pointless when you must pick the correct alignment choice for force users due to equipment having alignmnet reqs on them still. I basically pick the option that maximizes the points for my companion and gives me the correct alignment points. So yes, I spacebar while reading fast. Unless it's one I am quite familiar with, then I just spacebar fast.
