Well, you've done like 10% of your class quest, so there's a whole ton of the game left to try - new planets, new companions, space combat (hey, i like it), your story getting interesting, crafting, more flashpoints (lvl 17 has done one maybe two?), etc... And if you don't like the way your guy plays, try a different class, there's very different playstyles available.

Are you doing the Flashpoints / Space missions / Warzones daily? (well maybe not the flashpoitns every day, but doing a WZ and Space missions only take 40 minutes or so) Otherwise keep in mind you're still fairly low level. Sell your crafted materials to a vendor, I doubt you'll have much luck on the GTN at this point (everyone with artifice is pumping out the same tier 2 crystals right now). I also found I had not much in the way of free credits until I got up in the 25 - 30 range. Also, since your underworld is only 30 you may want to drop it for Treasure hunting.

I've managed to blow up the defence platforms in Cartel Listening Station but never a frigate. I blast them alot for sure but usually end up switching over to the fighters as they give the bonus XP.

Getting the Grade 1 upgrades makes a huge difference in the early missions. I highly recommend it. And you make the money back quickly doing the daily space mission.

Pretty sure you have to kill that FleshRaider then you can go get T7 back and go get your lightsaber. Then you can leave the planet. Make sure you sue your skills on him, and have a stim handy - use a Might stim before the battle and MedPack during. If you're really having trouble kill the bodyguard first, even if you die he'll still be dead too - then rez there and fight the boss solo. Force Leap > Force Sweep > Saber Ward > then beat the crap out of him

which is awesome advice for gaining levels..... if you're not level 8 definitely go back to korriban and do maybe some of the heroics? should get you a couple levels.

I don't really understand how PVP gear works, do you have to equip it before you go in a WZ or what?

I think alot of people think the Promenade on Nar Shadaa is the spaceport, but it's actually just a tiny bit NW on your map

pretty much every time i see a vendor (any vendor even the medical droids) i do a repair all. Just to keep all my stuff shiny and happy

"Bind" at every one of those consoles you see. It doesn't mean you will rez there or anything, it's purely for quick travel options.

I think the problem (not really a problem but confusion point maybe) is that you get the quest at lvl 6 and the on-screen quest tracker doesn't tell you it's lvl8. I ran in (at lvl6 SI) and was surprised by how tough it was, then i realized it was lvl8 quest. I beat it but used a medpac and a might stim. Definitely take out the mobs before the boss spawns so it's 1-on-1.
