It's all about play style. You can viably use any of your companions, but you can't play the same way and expect to have success. If you use the same tactics with Ashara that you did with Khem you'll be dead pretty quickly. With Khem, let him get agro and take the beating. You keep him healed, and throw down DPS as well. It's safe but medium-paced. With Andronkos / Ashara, they are DPS, so either you take agro and the beating, or simply work on beating mobs down as fast as possible while taking damage. You can burn through mobs quickly, but there is a danger component if you mess up on keeping yourself healed. This is fast-paced and you'll be seething alot after fights. With Tallos, he heals you and does very little else. You are the tank/dps in the fight. However he keeps you healed well, and with your own healing you can stay near 100% health in most fights. This is slow-paced, you are wearing down the mobs. You'll rarely need to seethe afterwards however. This is a fairly safe plan as long as you don't pull a bunch of adds.

That room is tough but not impossible. If you are under-levelled for the quest you'll have trouble for sure. Use your cc, your interupt, recklessness, keep your companion healed and bubbled.... medpac if necessary.

There's a thread here somewhere that lists them all (might be a couple pages in by now but worth a look). Kill medals are only for 10 and 25 kills. There's also healing medals, one-on-one medals, objective medals, killing blow has a medal.... all different things.

I notice no one bothers posting here when they end up in the higher level group. It all evens out in the wash man!

Looking for some opinions on how necessary having the AoE healing ability is in endgame / hard mode flashpoints. Currently I can be the primary healer without it but I am still levelling. My hope is to maintain a balance between healing and damage, which is going to be pretty difficult if I have to drop 31 points into the healing tree. Can a hybrid class with no AoE heals be viable as a primary healer? I am assuming that a 'backup healer / backup dps' role would be fine in most cases?

I'm actually trying to not do all the quests my first time though. So far (lvl 35) i've done probably half of the optional non-class quests and still kept up via space missions and WZ. My thinking s that when I roll an alt I will have new (to me) quests in addition to the class quest.

Once you get to lvl 25-ish the credits start flowing in much faster. also make sure you do your WZs and space missions as they bring in good credits.

So find two or three other Republic Scum to WZ as a group with. Four organized player in a WZ will turn the tide against a random group on the other side pretty quickly. I play Empire and we don't always win, so, personally I think it is not a matter of 'Republic Players Sucking' as much as that you've had a few bad groups and feel the grass is greener on the dark side of the fence.

I also thought it was odd to go to the fleet for no dialogue then back to Dromund Kass. However, the story overall has been so good I can let it pass. Although I do wonder if there's dialogue missing or if it's supposed to be a 'nothing' conversation.

I believe the ship droids are all 'non combat' companions. You can summon them but most don't.

Other than the spelling issues (apologies if you are ESL, otherwise use the spell check feature in the text editor) I agree 100%. Swoop racing for sure is a Bioware / Old Republic staple from the first two games - and it could be a one-on-one PVP system perhaps. Pod Racing is probably a lot more complex but would be fun.

I got this quest line at lvl 33 on the fleet. I did not get an email.

Running on a $600 dell, no issues whatsoever. i3 # 3.10 ghz 6 GB ddr 3 Geforce 420 (i ghz) windows 7 I don't really know why people with much better systems are having trouble, i get no lag, my fps doesn't drop noticeably in WZs or on the fleet.

Just press 'n' to bring up your crew window and then resummon him. I think it will say that Andronikus is a 'guest' at that point but he'll coem when you call for him.

There's guides on crafting to go over the details of making something, but while you figure that out put all your crafting materials in your ships hanger. It has quite enough room. I like to put tier one stuff on the top row, tier two stuff on the second row, etc, just to keep it organized.

I had that happen once, I destroyed the droid, it didn't count. However I tried again and it worked no problem. Did you try destroying the other monument first and then going back? (I know would be better if it wasn't bugged at all, but often little quick workarounds make life easier)

I hated Andronikos at first, but then I realized it was because I was playing the same as when I had Khem. You have to get used to going from a Tank to a DPS. I'm on board with Andro now, although I am happy to use Khem from time to time.

100% agreed, I do the same, feels like a waste to have my 'saber out and not impale anyone on it (I say something at the bar on Fridays). I use my left side hotbar for my medpacks and stims, my speeder, my 'pass the huttball', and any time I have a mission item. Then the center bar are my abilities. I don't use my right side bar yet, and not sure if I will.

I like PVP. i rarely wait more than 5 minutes for a WZ. I don't beleive 'reality' and 'forum activity' are the same thing.
