  1. They say they're returning to the original Kotor formats of dialogue, for the contact missions at the least, as a way to add more choice to the player, which although is true as the dialogue options are at least clearer now and there are more choices. However I think it's mainly a way to cut the cost of voicing so many characters, which makes sense considering this expansion, and all previous expansions, can now be obtained by just subscribing for a month. I don't mind this though, although I would like to hear my character talk it at least allows them to add more content with, if what I think is true, a funding limitation by EA
  2. I've done the mission quite recently, and if you can find at least one person willing to help you out then you're set. The first time I ran this I got extremely lucky and got 5 out of the 7 pieces I needed. But then my progress got reset cause of KOTFE, so I started again. Now this took a lot more time as I was not as lucky this time round. Here's what I'd recommend: You won't really need need to worry about the Jedi temple or Tatooine parts as the Jedi Temple is a pretty small map compared to other search locations and on Tatooine you're able to buy it. On Taris, it says you need to search around the area of the wreck of the Endar Spire. This does not mean that it is only the areas that are specified as "Wreck of Endar Spire". Areas close by are also possible search areas, so don't pay too much attention to the change of location. For Hoth, you usually will find it somewhere next to the wreck of the starship. For Taris, Dromund Kaas, and Hoth, I recommend finding at least one person willing to help you out so that it's much quicker to finish. For the remaining flashpoint parts, it shouldn't be too hard, just use group finder and complete the flashpoint. GL to you, because I'm definitely just going to unlock HK for the rest of my toons.
  3. If they are keeping companion healing at this level, I'd say they should just put treek back to where she was before, because healing is pretty much the same as before 4.0, though it can help you solo heroics. A balance to this could be that treek can't switch roles anymore, but gets to be both a tank and healer again. Don't have treek, but would like to if I could ever make enough toons and have enough perseverance to get to the require legacy level.
  4. So I've seen a lot of threads about new classes that could be made based on KOTFE, and I agree that there's a lot of potential to add more classes based on that. I also know that these classes will take a while to make if there is going to be any decent story and will cost quite a sum of cash. So, I suggest making new classes that could be for purchase for around what the expansions costed, at least if the story classes started during the time of KOTFE. However, if you're a subscriber, you could get it as a reward after being a subscriber for a certain time period, such as maybe 3 months. Now, since KOTFEs story hasn't been finished yet, I think that these classes should only be sold after the KOTFE entire story has been fully released, as the classes can then tie into what is "currently" happening in the star wars universe. SWTOR may be an MMO, but the story and lore within the game are also big factors of this game's identity. It's been almost four years now and this game's original stories have been played countless of times, and even with the new expansions it won't take long till those stories are completed too, considering how long the first 9 chapters were. I think new classes would definitely give people a reason to come back. Now in terms of how to balance them with current classes and level, I've got a rough ideas on what those could be like. In terms of level, they could start at level 1 just like every other character, but level at an advanced and rapid rate depending on the length of the class story. What I mean is since KOTFE content begins at level 60 and caps at level 65(currently), KOTFE classes could advance in level possibly 3 times faster than a original character can if the story is short. If the content is as long as the original class stories, I would say leveling would take the same amount of time. In terms of balancing them with current classes and skills, classes could have a mix of old and new skill sets that would balance them out with each other. So for example, if a Zakuul Knight class was ever added, it could have a mix of force abilities from current force using classes, and have its own set of skills based on the fighting style of a Zakuul Knight and their force pikes. Now, another part to address is pvp and these characters on other worlds. Level sync should still apply to these characters, so as to (possibly/hopefully) prevent abuse of increased leveling or trolling players who are actually trying to play through the stories. In terms of pvp, I think that a decent amount of people would pay for the new class, so a new faction should be added to pvp, so instead of just imps vs rep, it could be rep vs zakuul or imp vs zakuul. If there aren't enough people, they could just try to balance the amount of KOTFE players per team. Feedback would be appreciated!
  5. Really thought that those choices they showed us during all the streams would matter, but they seem to have even less significance than the ones from level 1-50.
  6. I figured it out through sites that had datamined info, but there's no specifics on when you would get them.
  7. Haven't gotten to play it yet but from what I've seen the new companions and the story seem great, and I'm guessing they might change some of the current changes they've made to older companions(ie can't use their normal weapons) A bit of a spoiler here: Still have yet to see if you can recruit tanno as a trooper, and am wondering if he'll turn up again in later chapters(if you didn't kill him) and become recruitable. Plus when did he become so sensitive, I remember him being the one throwing the insults.
  8. I've seen a couple models as well on other sites, but haven't read anything about it on dulfy yet. But they also said chapter 11 too, so this could be a troll(or typo)
  9. I'm bringing up a point that other players have brought up before. If we had been subscribers back in 2012, we recieved a pet known as the gannifari. But, as I've learnt from customer service, this is no longer mailed to you as black hole commendations were removed. So if you could please allow us to add the gannifari to our collections, or at least send mail it out without the black hole commendations to all players who had previously had it, it would be much appreciated as this was a great pet.
  10. Yeah I agree, this would be really nice to see again
  11. These items are hard to get as it is unless you are extremely lucky, so I think it would be fair for these 2 items to be added to collections after the event is over as you won't be able to obtain any more for the rest of your characters.
  12. Ok, for one thing, i wasn't thinking about WOW, i don't even play it, secondly, i posted this because i thought it would be kind of cool to have these, considering the fact that pets don't do anything.
  13. I think that we should get some pets that would actually fight back, like the rakghouls could or add new ones like a nexu cub or something, it would add a reason to get pets other than decor and stuff.
  14. WOOHOO, thanks for the guide! It helped a lot, now i just need to find out how to catch a taunlet because that confused me really badly.
