So when Bioware (Blizzard or any other MMO developer) waters down what the should be the most basic functions of an MMORPG to pander to the casual player.....when will it NOT become an MMORPG?...when will be become (for example) a glorified lobby system as you wait for your flashpoint/Operation/Warzone to queue in.?.....sounds a lot like Call of Duty... so sorry didn't mean to sound rude Bioware admins....but it's the truth.
  2. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bioware needs to reduce the time it takes the plague to explode, (while decreasing the amount of DNA recieved per death; depending on how long the event is) and for those whiny brats that dont like the plague, I'd say suck it up!....buy a vaccine and run around happy and oblivous. although selling the vaccine in limited quanities, every hour makes things a lot interesting. it's an mmoRPG..if any dev wants to make your virtual world a life and death struggle. THIS is the way to do it..
  3. it's an area quest.. go to the NE corner of the dune sea on tatoonie also just finsihed the plaguebearer (infect 10 people quest) by bringing the infection into a WZ.
  4. you get 11 from the dailies and there is another pvp orientated quest where you have to infect 10 enemy players..(havent finished that also if you die from the infection that gives you 5 per death
  5. if it's 1v1, and you are stunned, the ball will go to the opposing player.... also (never tested) those who have the most health (so I've heard).

  7. no...it's called get this game more immersed in all things "Star Wars" that would appeal to all the fans of the franchise (which I bet make up the current player base). I think most people would get a kick out of the first Atari arcade game.
  8. Just the earlier games, like the classic 3-D/vector graphic Star Wars arcade. or yes, even the Super Star Wars from the SNES days. I will grind my game to Legacy 50 if it meant getting something like that on my ship. and yes, one can earn Fleet commendation for it too....... come on!

  10. I'd like to see Imperials get the option to do the same daily quests as the republic (vice versa), so that there can be situations of World PvP. I think the worst thing about SWTOR is poor design of the planets. none create a situation where repubs and Imps' interests are inter-mingled in one isolated area. (Maybe except Tatoonie and Alderaan). ... Being 50 now, as I grind away on Belsavis dailies. I wish I could come across a Republic person and battle face to face with him over the quest node that take 5 miniutes to spawn. Who is skilled enough to take the other down, and who has to wait for the next time the thing re-spawns.. I realize my recommendation would ask you to re-do the whole game design. Instead why not just add the Imp's dailies on Belsavis to the Repubs and vice versa... I'm sure the Repubs have their reasons for killing Lord Raxxus. or that after many attempts on "Light's Out" by the Imps, I'm sure there could be a rescue mission by the rpubs in the same instance. ....doesn't the Republic's reclamation service need a wraith box too? I never played Republic up to 50, I'm sure the Esh'ka are as much threat to them as they are to the Imps... all I'd like to see are these changes to enhance World PvP in the game.
  11. semantics, but yeah...that really should be the ONLY time the flow is disrupted...and i can accept that.. what i can't accept is seeing some of my staple abilities still on cooldown after death. respawning, and getting killed again, or being yelled at for not stopping the ball handler when I was the only person able to (ie)....
  12. You're in a WZ, you die. When you respawn not only is the timer on the door ridiculously long, but you still have to deal with your cooldowns, and the fact you are pretty useless coming out the door to fight again. THEN you have to add in the whole resolve bar issue. It like trying to PvP with your feet nailed to the ground half the time.....something's really got to give here. -Shorten the CDs -Shorten the door timer. -GET RID OF RESOLVE. all these little timers tend to disrupt the flow of a PvP match, greatly. so unless there is a bigger issue here. I really can't see how allowing CDs to reset on death can hinder the opposing sides chances of winning. am I alone on this?...or just another spoiled WoW-vet?.....
