  1. It definitely feels better when I play my Shadow, but there's still a lot of weirdness with my Sentinel's abilities, especially with Slash and Riposte if spamming the button.
  2. Hell, judging from the Sentinel and Marauder forums, we're going to need combat logs just so they can figure out a decent rotation.
  3. All the ship droids are annoying. I know several Republic players who've begun to refer to C2-N2 as another four-letter word with c and n in the same place.
  4. It's more a priority system, as a lot of it depends on procs, stacks of buffs, and whether or not you're coming out of stealth or under the effect of Blackout. In general, though, it's pretty simple: CV strike to 2 stacks of Circling Shadows, then Project, throwing in Saber Strike when low on Force, Shadow Strike on Find Weakness procs, and Spinning Strike if the mob is at less than 30% HP and it's off cooldown. Force Breach is the subject of some debate as to whether it should be used every time it's off cooldown or saved for five stacks of Exit Strategy. In PVP it's probably wise to do the latter, as CV -> CV -> pop Force Potency -> Project -> 5-stack Force Breach can give you some really nasty burst. Waiting until 5 stacks might be sub-optimal in PVE unless you're in a burn phase, however; it's tough to tell with the lack of a combat log.
  5. Wait - am I missing something? I thought Infiltrators don't use Double Strike at all and that it was effectively replaced by CV Strike.
  6. The Gay Dragon is now the Big Gay Dragon.
  7. Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many of the people in this thread have actually played or seen endgame content at this point in time. The fact of the matter is that, damage meters or no damage meters, you aren't going to be able to 'play how you want to play' in Hard Mode flashpoints due to the fact that most of the bosses have hard enrage timers - if you don't do enough damage to the boss in enough time, you don't clear the instance, and that's that. Not having hard numbers available is only going to waste people's time on overanalyzing and finger-pointing rather than being able to see where the problem lies and figuring out a solution. Ultimately, it's more constructive to have them.
  8. Huttball is the most common WZ because it's the only one that can take place intra-faction and 70% of the playerbase is Empire. If you're sick of Huttball, roll Republic.
  9. It's very hard for Republic players to not feel like second-class citizens at the moment.
  10. Even PVE favors the Imps, as heroic Black Talon is significantly easier than heroic Esseles. And no, the kiddies flocked to the Empire because they want to be bad-asses. The Republic, with the exception of the Smuggler (because, let's face it, Han is a BMF and he shot first), is a little lacking in the bad-*** factor.
  11. It is actually possible for Operatives and Assassins to cancel Project if they stealth mid-animation, leaving the rock spinning harmlessly in the air. That's a serious issue. Plus, that one second can make a serious difference between a win and a loss in PVP when it comes to objectives. I can't count the number of times I've been shocked by a Sith when I was literally .5s away from a turret cap, bomb plant, or defuse which would have gone through were our roles reversed.
  12. BioWare are Canadian, by the way. I kinda figured for several months now that SWTOR would be rushed - my gut reaction upon hearing that Mass Effect 3 was being delayed was that BioWare must be reallocating resources from it to try and get SWTOR out by Christmas.

    F$%# Hutt Ball

    Too bad. Roll Republic, then.
  14. Endgame instances also favor the Imps, as Hard Mode Black Talon is significantly easier than Hard Mode Esseles. Seriously, the longer I play Republic, the more I feel like a second class citizen of the Star Wars universe.
  15. The first thing my guild raided in Cataclysm was the Whale Shark.
  16. I've seen Operatives and Assassins stealth mid-animation and avoid my Project entirely - the debris just kinda spins harmlessly in the air for a while.
  17. The animation and projectile speed delays that Jedi Consulars have to put up with that don't exist for Sith Inquisitors, for one.
  18. Not to mention that the Warzones themselves favor the Empire - the delay on the west turret in Civil War, for example.
  19. Huttball is fine. It 'comes up too often' because an overwhelming majority of players are Imperials and it's the only intra-faction WZ. If you're sick of Huttball, roll Republic.
