  1. Everything in this thread we experienced tonight on Hard Mode. When we finally got good RNG, and downed it, he dropped Columi gear. So here's looking to a another week.
  2. It is a straight growth, but it is still not always what you want to be aiming for. Not sure this is the proper forum.
  3. And to this, we were outside I believe a base called Outpost Verash, or something? We found this seemed to be a central hub for the Imperials, many were flying in (and out to escape, haha) during the course of our battle. We started at a different Tatooine base, but it was not getting as much traffic as this one was, or so it appeared at the time.
  4. Wait, how is taking their base not PvP. Other players were there, who we were fighting against. Furthermore, it takes more than 2 rockets to take the outside of the base, making me think you've never actually gone out in a group and done this. As far as faction imbalance goes, the most it ever got to were me and 2 friends (that's 3 republic players) against 3 Imperial 50s plus the assortment of lowbies trying to help them. If you're wondering, one of the 50s, who happened to be a healer, arrived first, and was unable to kill us alone, obviously. He left after the second appeared, because the second was a rather nervous Sorcerer, who couldn't stay focused on anything, I'm sure it was aggravating for him. So we never faced them 3v3, thus we were able to hold even with the guards pulling (note, again, we fought at/outside the entrance, so that if the adds got to be too much we could retreat and lose the aggro on them). Faction imbalance was not noticeable in the slightest, we were very much the bullies in the situation.
  5. Aww, you poor thing. How will you ever win again?! Just requeue, is your team supposed to just expect that you will definitely come back and fight down a man the remainder of the battle?
  6. I would consider these things that are mostly quality-of-life improvements, not necessary, but nice. I know some people might feel like these sort of things are far off because the game is going to be shut down tomorrow since it completely blows for them, but remember some people are having fun, so let's try and keep it pleasant in here! Now that they fixed bank stacking, I'd say I'd like to see a gear management system implemented, making it one click to switch between PVP and PVE gear. Others?
  7. Oh, the other thing I noticed was companion CC did not build any resolve. This made it particularly difficult to deal with. I'm not sure this needs to be fixed though, it was still overcome with good play.
  8. Last night a couple friends and I were bored (no one to run HMs with, and really the desire wasn't there anyhow), so we decided to venture out in search of lowbies to kill. We started at the Shrine of Healing, and locked it down for a little. No one came to help though, and it wasn't very populated (though I had to laugh at a player who decided that jumping off a cliff to his death was better than dying at our hands), so whatever, we left for Tatooine. We basically cruised around ganking people, pressing into their bases, and being all around bad people. It was an absolute blast. The guards at these outposts have a lot of health, but can be easily healed through and even downed relatively easily (they even drop loot, one of my friends got a new epic belt last night, which is better than the luck we were having in HMs). Thanks to this, we could go into the enemy bases and kill them from within. At one point a couple 50s showed up to try and and help them, but we managed to hold them all inside their base for about an hour, culminating in a wave-after-wave fight (they were taking the medical center spawn) that just wore our resources out. It was really fun. I'm sure the people trying to level were pissed off, and I would feel bad if maybe that was their one chance to play for the week we ruined, but they could have brought in more 50s. Someone, trying to stir up trouble for us to fight, logged into their Imp toon and asked for help on their fleet, but were met only with the response "/cry". What's my point? If you want world PvP, go create it. It's not as difficult as it sounds, just start pissing people off. And it's real fun, in a game that feels very "carrot-on-a-stick" at times. My only wish, maybe, is that they make more of the NPCs killable. We found plenty of Imperial captains who were green to us, I know they are probably important quest -giving NPCs, but they should still be able to die, it lets both sides create even more havoc.
  9. This might work, though I'm not completely against a deserter debuff, because if people are going to be stuck in a WZ, they might as well try and win. Deserters with a debuff can't PvP again for some time. Right now deserters can PvP again immediately, so that's something. Yesterday someone on my server was complaining that he kept getting put into WZs that were already started. Well, no ****, if your leaving when you enter, what do you think other people are doing? Stay and fight it out, maybe farm some medals, who gives a ****. To people who are saying "I only leave when my team isn't competent," I find that people aren't very vocal in the WZs. Maybe you can urge these people into playing the way you think is proper? But you have to do it kindly, people who just pop off in chat with messages like "KILL THE *********** HEALERS" aren't helpful, they just seem like ******es, and no one wants to do what they say.
  10. I don't know, I was riding around Tatooine ganking lower level imps, sadistically enjoying it. Granted, the planet is so big it is literally like trying to find people in a desert. But that didn't dissuade me. Later, a couple 50s came along and ganked me on Voss. So, it's there. But it's not going to come to you. The quest lines are intentionally separated, it's up to the player to break the disconnect.
  11. I didn't know this, and I appreciate the information. But really, for how much they ask you to invest (I don't have slicing), it seems like I should at least feel faster. Problem is, to have that feeling that occurs from walk to sprint and sprint to mount a 3rd and 4th time would require the 4th speed to be fairly massive. Perhaps, the solution is bump back the mount to 14 (along with sprint, for instance purposes), and make it like 40%. Then you make the 25 one 90%, and only make another at 50, at 125%?
  12. How come when I deposit the mats I get from my skills into my cargo bay, they don't automatically stack on top of each other? This is something that has been a slight annoyance to my guildies and I. Perhaps there is an option I missed somewhere, which someone can guide me to. Otherwise, I would think it has been brought to the developers' attention already, but I'm just making sure. I'm enjoying myself otherwise, but this makes me not want to hit the bay. (To be clear, my suggestion is: stackable items deposited in the bay should automatically look for like stacks)
