  1. This logic is flawed. Why can't the developers add substantial repercussions or make the possibility of ninja looting impossible? They can, you assume they won't for some unknown reason. Make the possibility to need on gear tied directly to class and spec if possible. Make the punishment for leaving in the middle of a flashpoint substantial. Someone who ninja loots and quits on groups will do it regardless of getting yelled at in general chat.
  2. And on a dead server? How does this help the situation whatsoever? How is any logic missing? People are leaving the game because of a lack of fundamental features. A LFG system is one of these features. I know of several individuals who have left already and only plan on coming back when this feature is finally implemented. It is a difficult task for anyone to leave behind their original server, where they have already established significant legacy levels, to start from scratch. People are going to this extreme because they cannot find a group in PvE. A single server LFG system will not help anyone on a dead server. How can people game a system we are hypothetically talking about? What loopholes will they use, and if you are so wise to these loopholes, then inform the developers so they can close the loop? Blanket statements like this are not productive in the slightest. What exactly does it indicate? Why would people move from a dead server to a more active one? Because they cannot find a group to do flashpoints is the most obvious answer here... You people against this system have no ground to stand on.
  3. How is the work on a cross server LFG system going? Can we get an estimated ETA on when this feature will be implemented?
  4. Also those that say "no consequence for bad players" Well that is an easy fix. Bioware makes a LFG system in which players are punished for bad behavior. Fix the loot system so you can only roll need if the piece fits your class (and spec if possible). Put in a rating system for players, so you can see if they are good or not before you even start the FP. Make it an hour wait if someone quits out of a FP. etc.. etc... This delusion that "community will be destroyed" is completely wrong and off base. The exact opposite is happening right now. Communities are getting destroyed and servers are dying because the mass migration of players who don't want to spend 2-3 hours looking for a group on a non-highly populated server.
  5. This game needs a LFG tool or it is going to lose even more subs. People say it will ruin communities, if anything not having a LFG tool is ruining more communities. As more people cannot find HM groups for PvE, they are leaving their old servers and going to Fatman where you can actually pug and find a group. "Join a guild" Give me an OPTION! Simple as that. I'd rather be able to PUG cross server anytime I want than hope we can makea full team in guild at the random time i log in. Without a cross server LFG, this game will continue to lose subs.
  6. I know the quest line was released overtime throughout the week. If i start the line of quests that are associated with the outbreak on Tatoinne today, are all the quests unlocked for me? Or do i have to wait til tomorrow to get the next quest and so on?
  7. Ummm what at the underlined? You can easily get 10 kills in a losing warzone...and you can easily get defender and attacker points in a huttball, even in a losing warzone (Hell you get points just for passing!). Maybe you should actually look into how to get these medals rather than crying about them first?
  8. The amount of time it takes is pretty much absurd atm, but this does not take into account that Ranked Warzones are hopefully going to be released in the next 1-3 months. PLaying ranked warzones will yield ranked commendations instead of regular commendations correct?
  9. with time, the people complaining will learn to get the easy medals when you are on a losing team with little to no effort, which would still yield 30-50 comms depending on how many you get. The day of the patch, of course those that do not realize how easy it is to get the new defender/attacker medals will QQ (attacker medals are obviously a lot harder) Unless you get 3 capped in Aldaraan, you can easily get 5~ medals there without ever being in combat. Run left or right initially, be there for initial cap rewards a medal. Sit there and you can gain up to 4 more medals if you reach 7.5k defender points (? I think that is the correct amount). Like the above player said, stand by the door in voidstar and you get medals there. Huttball is the most difficult for sure, but making 2 completed passes gives you a medal (that is very easy to get) There are ways people.

  11. You can easily get 4 medals when you are losing in aldaran or the new warzone if you sit on the one cap for your losing team the entire game. You get 30~ comms that way, if someone from the opposition tries to zerg, 2 more medals (death blow, and 2.5k damage) or maybe even 3 (one on one kill). if you are healer, you can get 2.5k heals and 75k heals just by eating your own health and healing yourself. As a healer on a losing team, just sitting on the one cap your team has can easily yield 6 medals. The reduction of credits earned when you lose is complete and absolute BS though. Especially considering the huge price sink legacy is now. They really need to fix that and ASAP.
