  1. Eric I'm just going to say it, You know what, screw it! I am going to be that guy that makes 8 BRAND NEW characters. I feel like that would be a worthy challenge. Not the wisest decision, but it might be nice to have a small sacrifice for such a "prestigious" reward. I will admit, the process of the rewards are a little ridiculous. While I like the idea of having a "Best of" reward system, I do not like the idea of regaining rewards that I already own and/or don't want, ever. These packs are the great example: Force-Bound Dark vs. Light Packs These packs are “best of” packs that are themed around the dark and light sides. Each pack contains two slots. One slot is a “best of” Dark vs. Light item, and the other slot will contain either a Companion Gift or an Experience Boost. Below are just a few examples of what items can be found in the pack: Tulak Hord’s Armor Set Satele Shan’s Armor Set Revan Reborn’s Armor Set Black/Black and White/White Dye MSM J-37 Jetpack Volatile Conqueror’s Lightsaber Cathar Honor Sword Unstable Arbiter’s Lightsaber Two new Weapon Tunings, Dark-attuned and Light-attuned Why not do this instead. Leave the XP boost but replace the armor pieces, weapons, or other items with something like the Cartel Certifications that you could get from the previous cartel packs. Add a vendor to the Cartel Bazaar that you can redeem these in for BoP rewards (Yes even make it to where the rewards and be collected and unlocked). Make the new 'currency' Legacy bound so that I can get dyes, tunings, and other things for my other characters. If I get 6 Black/Black dyes from opening these packs, then what's the point? With this, you prevent and/or reduce a lot of "Unwanted" or "Previously acquired" items. I get the reasoning for adding some of these specific items because there are some people who only farm Hypercrates to make massive amounts of credits and boost the price of said items and this will help people get things that are neigh impossible currently. I'd rather not spend upwards of 20M credits to get a helmet or chest piece of some kind, nor do I want to have a chance on getting something I already own and have unlocked. This method can help in SEVERAL ways: Help people collect missing pieces of armor sets. Prevent unwanted/collected items. Give a more viable sense of completing these challenges. Give a personal feel to the rewards system. Prevent people from getting duplicate rewards. Allow players to redeem the rewards at their own pace. Prevent unnecessary clutter within their bank. Look, I know a lot of planning has gone into this, but actually stopping to think about how players are affected by these rewards is beneficial to everyone. How and/or what the rewards are is one of the key factors in IF a player will want to participate, and by making the rewards more flexible, you'll more than likely will have a higher turn out for the event. I rather have a assured reward rather than have a 'chance' of getting something I wanted. By the way the Pack rewards sound, it would seem they are a part of the END of the event, which would give you guys enough time to add in these details. I mean, you have a Legacy droid in the Cartel Bazaar that sits there and sells a Treek contract, which is pointless with all the new companions. Why not utilize it? Also add in rewards for people with the VIP and Collector's Edition vendor? Benefiting the players it what makes a game great. Why not help us out?

  3. Eric, major issue! I read up on the event and came across this: "Alliance Hero To complete the objective “The Story Continues”, you must take a Dark vs. Light event character and gain enough experience to gain Character level 50 with all eight Classes. In order to reach level 50, you simply need to play almost any part of Star Wars: The Old Republic. This includes Missions, Warzones, Flashpoints, and more! To track your progress, simply look at your character’s current level, listed next to your portrait. You must have one level 50 of each of the following eight Classes: Jedi Knight Jedi Consular Smuggler Trooper Sith Warrior Sith Inquisitor Imperial Agent Bounty Hunter Once all eight Classes among your Characters have reached level 50, you will receive the Achievement “Dark vs. Light: Alliance Hero” to note that you have completed this objective." Making 2 characters is fine, but does this mean I have to level 8 new characters to get this? Is this one of the things that MUST be done in order to complete the final reward tier? What if I have already completed this and have 'Legendary' status? Are the Force-Bound Dark vs. Light Packs are bind on pickup? Legacy (Which I think is the best option)? Can they be sold/traded?
  4. ^^THIS!! ***OR even have an option to unlock the rewards in the cartel market*** I play on Ebon Hawk and there are some rewards that I opt out for JUST because the mounts/titles don't fit the character that I'm playing. Last season it was this whole pirate theme.. My Ranked PvP character isn't a pirate, so why go for the reward? The other thing is that not all players want to do PvP and feel left out from cool rewards like this or even the season 4 weapon rewards like the Furious lightsaber/dual saber. (The light trail they leave behind looks simply amazing. Unfortunately, the only way to have gotten that saber was from Ranked.) You guys should make it to where other rewards like this are obtainable through other methods like achievements, special events, or even Heroic Missions (Not Operations). C'mon now, give the PvE and casual players a chance too. Some of us play just for fun and aren't into the whole endgame material.
  5. Any other codes left? I would like one so I may pay it forward
  6. Even Legacy bound things would make this worth it imo. Just something to make it feel more personable.
  7. I've been a fan of SWTOR since the beginning and have always loved the whole Adaptive armor idea.. And the you add the dye mods and it just made it perfect. So I want to know is this: Why not add a way to split/combine dye mods.. Make primaries and secondaries of each color and have people go to mod tables and combine them into one dye mod. Of course once they combine it, it would become bound to that character. This would open up so many doors for character customization that it would make the game more 'user friendly'. You could keep the current colors you have now, but just add new ones and a way to create color combinations that would make people crave a specific look rather than settle for something that's 'eh....' or 'close enough with what I got'. I seriously think that this could be a great thing. Also, a costume idea/concept that would be wonderful to see (especially since you guys have released exposed armor sets), would be something like this: http://gaspull.geeksaresexytech.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/harley-quinn-sds.jpg http://punchingthewallsofreality.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/this1.jpg I mean c'mon, you guys added the gangam style dance in this game for crying out loud... ^^ (this is just a thought, nohing more) ^^ Also have Jedi Master Satele Shan's outfit as a Cartel Market/Cartel Pack set would be terrific!!! Or at least her boots. It is so sad to see these 'knee high' boots that only truly come up to the back of the knee and when you run the top part on the front of the leg just flops like excess skin. *Bugh* This is just a Subs thoughts and HOPEFULLY we can see some results..
  8. These are great ideas. Other ideas to consider: Droid PC? Wookie PC? Character renames? Ways to earn Cartel Coins IN-GAME? Level cap increase? Removal of color crystal stats? Pazzak and/or Sabbac? SPACE PvP with your ship? More items on the VIP Goods and Collector's Edition Vendors???? Also, I would like to know if there are any rewards for checking out 1.6 on the PTS and what the requirements are for them.
  9. Whoa Whoa!! What just happened guys? Why did the servers go down?
  10. I have the worst scenario. I have a character on a RP server and another on a PvE server.. and I don't want to play on the RP server anymore.... There seems to be no possible way to save my toons on the RP server after the hard work I put into them.
