  1. In a word, NO. There is already a fix for this in game, if you are an intelligent operations leader you'll simply set it to Master Looter and enforce your loot rules on the operation. We don't need nanny-mode on loot.
  2. The operations frame in the UI needs to have the ability to flip the view both vertically and horizontally added in the customization options.
  3. The big red text of operations warnings is located in a position where it is not easily seen in some situations. This UI element should be movable, and we should be able to adjust the font size, font color and fade duration.
  4. Since so many class mechanics in SWTOR rely on reacting to visible procs, these should be in a separate window from our regular buffs, allowing us to easily manipulate the UI layout for maximum visibility.
  5. In addition to these three, I also use it on Titan 6 HM if I get pounded into the ground and don't have my cc break up, since I'm not holding the boss at that point anyway.
  6. Quite obvious that some of you haven't played a game with advancement past level 50 other than strictly gear. Break free of the "warcraft mentality" and think about what legacy could have been. It's an empty promise, currently, but I guess that's ok with most people.
  7. This. I was hoping that the legacy system would turn into an "alternate advancement" system like Everquest, and that it would have significance at end game. But maybe my expectations were too high.
  8. Of course I enjoy playing the game. However, it seems my time was wasted. i could just roll F2P today, spend 4 hours getting to level 10 (if even that long) and buy tons of cool stuff on the cartel market. As I said, that trivializes the legacy system.
  9. You've just trivialized legacy levels by allowing any kid with mommie's credit card to buy, via the CM, something that I have to be legacy level 40+ and have a million credits to buy in game. Why can't legacy level mean something significant? You could have allowed the Ewok companion to be purchased via the CM for only those who were legacy level 40 and higher. You should have. I get that it's a cash-grab moment, and that the suits at EA love it when you fund their bonuses, but...... As a daily player with multiple level 55's who has been capped at legacy level 50 for well over a year, you're trivializing my time spent playing your game. Make legacy level 50 mean something. Make it necessary to play the game to get the best rewards, especially when it is something that the community is salivating for. You can't give it all up at level 10 to the highest bidder, it's an insult to your dedicated players. As my grandmother used to say, "why buy the cow if the milk is free?" She was talking about dating, but you get the point. It's simply too much, too soon, and it you can get all the cool toys for no effort, then you're trivializing the entire legacy system.
  10. Dumb thread is dumb. The day my PvE gear gets bolstered to conqueror PvP stats in warzones is the day you'll get your PvP set bolstered to top end PvE gear. In other words, never.
  11. http://www.ibuypower.com/ Seriously, they make one of the best gaming laptops around. Call them, give them the specs for the game and your budget, and they may be able to configure a gaming system directly to your needs. I was able to get one around $600, via their configuration tool, so it should be fairly easy. They offer specials frequently. Their build quality is excellent, i have two desktop gaming machines that are seriously overpowered and can play any game currently available for PC at ultra settings, and both cost under $1000.
  12. Wow, just... wow. How could they not? Very disappointed to realize they remain willfully ignorant of the situation.
  13. Cries of "nerf the other guys" will not fix a broken class. I respect your opinions and I value you as a community representative, but I would think focusing on "let's fix shadow/assassin spikiness" would accomplish more than "nerf guardians/juggernauts". I agree that the devs lack awareness of the situation. I find it hard to believe that their play testing hasn't indicated that the problem exists. I have all 3 tank classes at 55, and its pretty obvious that one is not like the others in regards to mitigation. Juggernauts are also quite obviously in third place in aoe threat, and my concern is that nerfs to saber reflect would put us even further behind in that regard. The bottom line is that all 3 tank classes *MUST* be viable in HM/NiM content, and that currently is NOT the case.
  14. I use Saber Throw> Charge> Smash>Crushing Blow>Retaliation>Scream>Sundering Assault / Enrage >Taunt>Backhand>Ravage>Repeat (starting with smash on the repeat)
  15. If it is heavy dps armor, I have no problem with a marauder getting it. Most thinking players use moddable gear and swap out the modifications. Since the mods and enhancements for heavy dps and medium dps armor are exactly the same, that just shows they are a smart player who is trying to min/max to get the most out of their character. If they need on tanking gear, however, it shows they are a moron.
  16. Dissing someone while demanding that they do something for you yields a 100% chance that you will be ignored. You might want to adjust your methodology.
  17. Don't worry about percentages, worry about rating. You want to refer to this, and dial in your stats according to the information therein to fully optimize your tank: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=616779+
  18. Truth. Opinions are like ***holes, everyone has one, and most of them stink from time to time.
  19. Numerous threads on this issue fall on deaf ears. Why is that, BioWare? Robes and Cloaks don't clip when you view the mount in the "preview" window, yet they do in game. Fix this please.
  20. I watch every cutscene, every time. Ops, FPs, it doesn't matter - I never spacebar.
  21. disregard, someone contacted me immediately
  22. Greetings! I'm a long-time MMO veteran, and I'm desperately trying to find others who share my love of the genre. I am passionate about team-based gaming, whether it's flashpoints, operations, or warzones. I have a 55 sniper, almost full 69's (currently shopping for a 72 barrel) who has cleared TFB HM up to Kephess (post-2.0). He is my main PvP character, with a valor level of 62 currently. I also have a 55 juggernaut tank, fully optimized in 66's with a few 69's. I have tanked through TFB SM, and the first two bosses of TFB HM (prior to 2.0). Oddly enough, I've not had an opportunity to participate in a Scum and Villainy run yet on either character, but I've studied the fights and I'm ready to dive right in. I play weeknights from 4pm to midnight CST, and all day on Sundays. I am looking for a guild who raids during this time frame, and who shares my passion for team gaming. I took a break from the game due to some IRL health issues, but now I'm back and ready to game on. Please message me here or feel free to contact me in game. I'm really looking for someone who is already in hard modes and is looking for a committed, studious, reliable member. I'm open to playing either character, or both if you regularly run alts or a second operations group. Contact me on Mor'goth, or Vul'garus, in game. Thanks for reading. I hope to hear from you soon!
  23. The EULA says you're not entitled to any compensation, but thanks for playing!
  24. I am adding this suggestion here. This is a brilliant thread, kudos for starting it. Please implement a feature in game that makes a deposit in the guild bank automatically when you complete daily quests, flashpoints, and operations, equivalent to % of the individual player credits received. This can be implemented as in other games so that it takes nothing from the cash reward you would normally get, it simply creates an additional amount of cash for the guild bank. This helps build a sense of community and participation in the guild, a common goal that everyone in the guild works towards, in a much more efficient manner than simply encouraging (or begging) folks to feed credits to the guild bank. Thank you.
