  1. So many times i've had sinatra blaring as I've held off attackers on a single bunker in warzones. And you bet your behind i was singing along.
  2. I am a huge dork when it comes to SWTOR! Always have been. My things would include: Leave my Sith outside in a forest/field with my Maworr (Playing fetch). Almost always logging out in a bed, my wife and i's guild stronghold etc. Or a cantina. Ocasionally, RPing with inanimate NPC's and my companions. Taking the success of space missions way too seriously. (Id have preferred different space combat of course, but to this day the starfox style combat still gets to me! Just wish there were more)
  3. I'm not too worried about the negative nancy types. Those who enjoy something dont owe anyone an explaination because other people disagree. Pretty sad that on a post where someone was genuinely trying to express appreciation, there was still gonna be a guy / gal that comes in with a tirade. Ah well though, i'm off doing my thing and enjoying the game. Now to figure this decorating thing out...
  4. Seeing a lot of good and a lot of negative in the forums right now. I dont get involved in the forums much but i thought id post to just say - my wife and I have been here since Beta albeit on and off. We're back, didnt even KNOW that there was a server merge and big changes happening but nevertheless are still enjoying the game even as it is right now. Still love the class stories. Still love all the content beyond that. We even like the galactic command stuff as we feel like we can be rewarded for just doing stuff we enjoy doing. I still love the starfox style space combat as well. But I wish the population was higher so that more GSF matches popped. No pre-70 PVP pops at all anymore. But i think server merges will solve that (hopefully). Anyhow, just saying i still enjoy the game as much as I did on day 1. Oh: And I love the great new pet companion in the cartel store. Got mine last night... he's great
  5. If you are on an RP-PVE server and "manipulating" game mechanics to work in your favor in order to grief, that doesnt have anything to do with roleplay and do not sit here straight faced and try to tell us it does. If youre on an RP-PVP server then fine, PVP all you want. If you are one of the *****s who runs into lowbie AOE's on a PVE server just so you can gank them -- I hope a black van drives up and takes you off, only for someone to discover your dried husk of a body somewhere in a desert in a few months.... This particular event going on now should have never had both sides in the same enclosed open world area. Period. That doesnt even begin to cover the insane mechanic that it is even possible to "Trick" someone into flagging themselves PVP in the first place. And I dont want to hear a single word about "oh well u shud hav been watchin wat u r doin" -- shut up. No one should be forced not to use one of their basic class skills just so they wont get ganked because of a stupid design decision.
  6. I was a previous subscriber and i subscribe now as well. I honestly do not see the difference in my gaming experience. It is just as good now, and at just the same pace. It seems to me that it is more or less just people more worried about other people and their playstyle than their own. A grind is a grind is a grind. I am surprised heroic level space gear isnt even longer of a grind, but i would surmise that its because of the admittedly limited number of missions available in space. I dont know. You are free to believe whatever you like, of course. But I just dont see why people cannot just enjoy the experience this game has to offer and stop nitpicking everything.
  7. And therein lays the problem in both the game and the board. Exact same thing available in game with some work behind it, but some shortcuts available for money (at your own expense/choice). So lets drive any options for anyone else into the ground because they choose that option instead of working towards it. If you have a problem with there being a paid shortcut, take it up with the player. Some people have pretty legitimate reasons for buying them as well, such as limited time in game due to work etc. If the cash shop dissapeared tomorrow no one would be complaining. Your game play would not change at all, if that were the case. It is a self contained game in the first place. It is literally not effecting anyone else but the player at this point. If it does not effect you, then stop ragging on it so hard. If you want to play the game for the grind, then grind... if you want to just experience the missions and need some help to offset the grind... then purchase the packs. Its pretty easy, when we get right down to it. Note: I wasnt trying to pick on you specifically, EATtheDEAD, just this mentality going around the community as a whole.
