  1. I am positive this has happened to me a couple of times. I send out a lot of missions at a time so at first I thought perhaps I was just mistaken, but now I'm sure it's happening. What I don't know yet is whether I'm refunded the money or materials.
  2. I've been working on REing stuff for biochem and for cybertech. I've done about 50 greens this morning and haven't gotten one new schematic. Is anyone else having issues or am I just having the mother of all bad times with RNG today?
  3. I am one of those last few stubborn people.... I've been subscribed since the beginning and I enjoy everything about the game that I've experienced. I'm not interested in raids or PvP. Most days now there is only about 12 people on my side of the server and I'm having a really good time.
  4. I too would like to know this... I've chosen not to transfer. I don't want to lose my character names or my Legacy name... but more importantly I have the same problem someone else does of having too many characters.
  5. I just tested this with the first Flashpoint Black Talon. I ran through a level 13 Inquisitor with Khem and a level 50 Inquisitor with Talos. The level 50 received no affection gain at all,. So... I'm fairly certain that if the Flashpoint is above your the level where you gained your companion, you receive no affection gain.
  6. yeah..I understand that now
  7. or..the strange story of how I came to love this game... So my husband was all excited to play SWTOR, before the game launched he would show me videos and talk about what an incredible game this was going to be. I love MMOs and have played just about every major title that has been released starting with the original Everquest... but I had no interest in SWTOR. So he kept plugging away with the raves of how awesome this game would be and I kept hedging, saying things like "I'm really more of a Fantasy genre player." or "I know it looks good but I really don't think I'll like it that much." Time came when pre-orders were available and he ordered a copy of the game for him..and one for me. I told him I really didn't think I needed a copy, much less a collectors edition, but he he said.."Just in case." The game came out and he dived into it hard core, playing constantly and still trying to get me to play. I installed the game, but my copy sat on my hard drive, unplayed. Then one day I decided to just try the game... just to quiet him asking me to at least give it a go... It didn't take long before I was hooked! There is so much about this game that is amazing. Everything from the care taken with the NPCs (have you ever listened to some of the neat dialog that happens in various towns?). to how I could play at my own pace and there was a real reason to level a bunch of characters if for no reason than to explore the various storylines. A couple of months later...and my husband has moved on, his Bounty Hunter shelved at 45 while I just finished my fourth level 50. I can only wonder if the way this went down in my family means that the game was originally targeting the wrong kind of players? My husband loves to raid... he's been a hard core raider for years. I started out with hard core raiding, but to be honest, I hate it... I love MMOs and have always had issues because the end game revolves around raiding or PVP, both of which I've done but have decided is not my playstyle. So, maybe, just maybe, as was suggested in another thread... this game should look to the casual/explorer/crafter/RP types. I'll keep paying for and playing this game as long as there are things for me to do..and as a casual player there means there is still a ton of content for me.
  8. One of the reasons I really love this game is that I'm a 'explorer' and alt-a-holic...so although I play a lot of hours, I'd definitely fall into the casual category of your list. I too have felt that perhaps instead of concentrating on trying to gain back the more hard core players, they should really look at the people who are still here and playing....
  9. As others have said the Kolto tanks are a huge help, but they don't respawn if you die ... so use them wisely. I found that I had to concentrate on killing what I could, die then come back and kill the others. I don't remember if we have the agro dump at that point or not but if you do, use it if you are close to death, a dead companion isn't the best but it's better than a dead you... Also, one huge thing..make sure that if you use Quinn he's close enough to heal you and he has line of sight. But I found that even leveling my second Marauder this quest was challenging....
  10. Let's hope she likes you equally as well...
  11. How? I didn't find that the case at all... It seemed as if I had less and less choice to spare people or to do some work for peace.
  12. My understanding was that you wouldn't get affection on the lowbie Black Talon with anyone other than your original companion. I guess I'll have to test it now...
  13. Problem is I can't see how either Pierce or Quinn really work for those of us pursuing the light side. I'm pretty sure that they would both turn us in in a heartbeat....
  14. I've got a female Trooper so I never ran into this...if this is true, wow...just wow...that would make me happy I couldn't court her!
