  1. Why is it supposed to be additive and not multiplicative? The talent description doesn't clearly state that. Bioware did not clearly state that, yet somehow you feel the need to claim that is should be additive? I don't buy it. I don't see where making it mulitplicative would break the bank. Its not like Mauraders were crushing other classes, many of whom can perform just as well as the old pre-nerf annihilation Maurader could.
  2. I'll humor you and answer some of your post even though it is frankly all over the place. 1. no where has Bioware acknowledged this issue, so if they are indeed aware that is news to me. Perhaps you have some sort of insight int the company that most of us do not have? 2. As for ranting...same reason you feel the need to try and rant/admonish me in a forum. 3. I actually waited until the patch to see what the damage was like just to not jump the gun and indeed it is less. 4. There is nothing wrong with using someone else's data to prove your point. Haven't you ever written a Thesis? 5. Lastly, you conjecture that it will be fixed in time is just that, conjecture. That said, I hope you are right.
  3. Here you go: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=276257 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=278406 Now, if you have anything that can refute my claim, or those of other Mauraders, please enlighten me.
  4. DPS increase my ***. My Anni Maurader is doing less damage than before the patch and its not even close. pre patch 36% dot damage -vs- 15% dot damage + 30% crit increase added to current crit mulitplier 36% wins out handidly. Furthermore, the 30% crit increase goes into the pile with surge, meaning it doesn't add up after surge crit but is instead added into it. If this is confusing here is what the math should have looked like. (Crit multiplier of 50% + surge)30% instead it is playing out as: Crit multiplier of 50% + surge + 30% talent If you want to nerf us, fine, but at least don't lie about it and call it a dps increase.

  6. Haven't seen any Maurader issues being addressed. Right now the class requires 1,110 different buttons to play. Would like to see it trimmed up a bit to make the class smoother in play. Not to mention adding in some gear to vendors like the Dark Side vendor, which sells no gear at all for a Maurader. Both of my suggestions for right now concern the Annihilation spec. 1. I feel that by making Deadly Saber an automatic ability (or even say 50% chance of activation per strike) instead of having to worry about it every 15 secs would help alot. One less button to have to worry about. 2. Also, I would like to see Annihilation, the ability, somehow replace Vicious Slash. I know it frankly represents our only burst ability, but I think it just feels a bit clunky to use in a PVE rotation with its awkward cooldown, not to mention it is costly at 5 rage. The most recent DPS studies are actually showing Vicious slash out doing Annihilation in a PVE rotation when specced into Brutality at level 50. If this is the case Annihilation would become an almost useless ability for PVE. I would actually prefer to see it become a replacement for Vicious slash with perhaps a dot renewal mechanic. This would would make it a worthwhile 31 level talent. As it stands it is clunky, expensive, and while it does decent (not spectacular mind you) damage, the mechanics of the ability make it a hard fit for PVE. Thanks, -Starym
  7. All you get is a green non moddable double bladed lightsaber. Pretty piss poor reward for being some sort of "super"sith artifact. Not sure why you didn't get it but you have to kill Major Bessiner and then talk to the dude in the room attached to his.
  8. I have 0 problems fighting elites as deception. If Khem is tanking I use surging charge. If I am having to go toe to toe with an elite without Khem I use dark charge. Dark Charge is actually pretty good for mopping up weak adds because it is an aoe. Surging charge is best for single target dps. Don't be afraid to switch up between the 2 and use your cooldowns (Blackout, Medpac etc).
  9. From what I know they had awesome assasin all black robes and pants in beta but they didn't go live for some odd reason. The commodation vendor in Korriban of all places sold them.
  10. I'm not digging the skirts either. Where do you get the trooper pants from?
