  1. Just an update. I wanted to give it a few weeks to make sure everything was grand. A full clean install fixed this problem for me. I am just letting those that have the same problem as myself, know that it fixed it for me.
  2. Yea thats what I have. I was told it was a memory leak issue though. Updating SWTOR, hopefully a fresh install and wasting my last day off waiting is worth it!
  3. Just update, I came across a Reddit page from back in January of someone having the same issue as myself. They mentioned to turn grass effects to the lowest setting for Windows 10. Will update if it works. EDIT: Was a long shot, but still nothing. Doing a fresh install of the game, hopefully it will work.
  4. Yea, I have pretty much given up now =/ Been trying a few things and just cant get them to stop.
  5. Update, still crashing but not as often. Everything is updated as well. One of the first things I checked. Would be great if I even got an error code or a log to share.
  6. Been playing for about an hour now, I deactivated my antivirus (which is Avast) before I loaded the game, and turned it back on after I got in-game. Seems to have no issues now. Will update later for reference for others that have same issue as myself.
  7. I am not sure what has changed tho....last month I could play fine, but now it has changed. I will try it via compatibility mode and get back if it works.
  8. Hello, was not sure if this is the right spot to put this but here it goes: I currently play SWTOR on and off, casually. Last time I played, I could play for hours and hours and have no issues at all, but now, after updating yesterday and playing today, the game will randomly crash to the desktop not giving any errors. All my other games are working 100%, problem only with SWTOR. I am currently playing on Windows 10. I have tried deleted the bitraider files as suggested in previous threads, and I have tried this: http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/Guide-quot-How-to-install-Swtor-Correctly-and-address-Windows-10/td-p/4851036 My last option is to completely re-install the game and download but I do not really fancy doing that. Anyone have any suggestions?
  9. Oh this is very sad that players will judge a game based on voice acting and the "in-game quest helper". WoW was my first proper MMO that wasnt browser based or asian F2P, and it durning the TBC times. It had NO quest helper built in-game but instead an addon which I refused to install (because of the big yellow arrow) which meant I had to read the quest log to get an accurate idea on where I am heading too. Still no idea? Alt-tab out, onto thottbot for the quest information. Fun times. Really fun times :-)
  10. Going to give this a bump mainly because I want 3D to work perfectly here. The main two things that needs fixed is the cursor and the nameplates. Fixe these and I am happy with everything else :-)
  11. That. Its what I do with macbook when I am on the train, but I mostly use my desktop for games (its PC). BTW I use a macbook for my uni course. EDIT: I don't prefer one operating system over another, if it does what I need, I will use it.
  12. I like Empire on my server but its always huttball so I went Republic...just saying
  13. Bioware, give now! I would sacrifice some bug fixes if it means for server forums. I am looking for a guild and it is difficult to find one!
  14. Well, I am wondering if there will be any 3D Vision update once the major bugs/glitches are sorted. Its decent in 3D atm but full support would be excellent for us 3D Vision users. The problems at the moment are 1) Lots of ghosting 2) Have to turn depth down to near enough off Space combat looks great with it :-)
  15. Give us yours. Where are your videos then?
