None of my toons (level capped or not) are ever booted from either of my strongholds if I leave them there when logging out.

Exactly this! I couldn't have said it better myself.

I guess that's me. I've been playing SWTOR since its original release and I've soloed the whole time. Guess I'll never experience an operaton or even most flashpoints.

For those of you who don't want to participate in the event and don't want to get infected: Just get some Rakghoul Plague Vaccine from a stim vendor and carry on with your day. No need to worry about "getting ganked".
