  1. Jugg tank in PvP is a lot of fun, never played assassin. There are a ton of keybinds, however. You definitely use ALL of your abilities as the situation requires. I currently have 27 keybinds and really should add a few more. I believe that a tank specced assassin would have more dps than a tank specced jugg. However I recently switched to full rage spec, with a mix of dps/tank gear and love it. If you stay in soresu form you can still guard people, and have fairly good survivability. Amazing for running ball in huttball. You lose some survivability vs. full tank spec, and some utility as well (backhand stun and instant cast force choke), but gain a lot of dps.
  2. 10 hours? Have the servers been up anywhere near that long?
  3. The "yield" of the mission affects the crit rate as well. Moderate and bountiful missions rarely give the purple items. Rich missions do about 25% of the time. Wealthy missions (bought from GTN or world drop) always do. If you don't have any rich missions, you need to level up diplomacy more to gain access to them.
  4. Yes, to both questions. Yes you can RE from green to blue to purple, and yes you can RE blues made from world drop schematics into purples. For me it seems I have to RE a lot of them (more than with stims/adrenals) to get the new schematic, but they do exist.
  5. Well, I wasn't sure what he meant by "broker". With the game being released around the world in different places, there are different common names for different NPCs. To be clear, the biochem trainer will teach you a recipe for a green medpac that heals both you and your companion. You can RE this into a blue version (slightly better than green, maybe a HOT in addition to instant heal, can't remember for sure), and the blue version can be RE into a reuseable purple version (same stats as green, but isn't consumed on use). The medpacs/stims that you get from quests/vendors/drops cannot be RE. However implants from quests/vendors/drops CAN be RE. You won't get any new schematics, AFAIK, but you will get level appropriate mats back.
  6. Splitting in SWTOR is the dumbest system I have ever seen. Hold shift and left mouse button, then drag and the split menu will pop up. For some reason this also links it in chat, so if you split multiple times, you will have {ITEM X} linked in chat an equal number of times.
  7. Yes, you can RE them into blue and then purple (reuseable) versions.
  8. The reusable biochem items (medpacks, stims, adrenals) are not bound, but they do require increasing levels of biochem to be able to use. Theoretically you could trade/sell them to someone else, but they would need the required biochem level to be able to use them. As far as torhead showing end game BOP items, I can't speak to that as I am only ~300 biochem currently.
