Apparently nothing? Haha!

Hello boys, girl, men, women and children! I played even before launch and then for about year after, I came back for a few weeks to try Rise of the Hutt Cartel - but then haven't touched the game since. While I was pretty "hardcore" at the time (studying rather than full-time work, as you know) and am not anymore, I am still fast at progressing and pick up on things relatively quickly --- What should I know, as a returning player? What things to make sure I experience? What things to avoid? Storylines to not miss out on? Dungeons? Etc. Any and all comments are appreciated! Thanks, Contumelious.

After getting home from work today, I came to realise there was supposedly a new patch (3.0.2) - but to my great astonishment I found my client not patching or updating at all. I am able to launch the game and once ingame, I am greeted with this message: "Your current game version does not match the server's, please restart the game. Follow the Help Center link below for more information." (Error code 1006) I am able to simply exit the message and even play on my characters, though my UI is severely bugged (for example no castbars) and certain abilities not functioning correctly. This is, suffice to say, not really what I had in mind when I booted up the game. What can I do? Do I really have to do a complete reinstall, after deleting BitRaider? That is absolutely unacceptable. Please help me find a solution. Regards. Just wanted to post here. To bump this legendary thread. I think it is a great disappointment that you cannot sway Ashara (whether directly or indirectly) to the dark side.

You'll have to excuse me then. I have yet to experience the problem of companions not being summoned, outside of the aforementioned Imperial Taxi example. That includes post-patch.

You just flew with an Imperial Taxi or whatever. Companions spawn just fine after a dismount.

NO, GUYS. You didn't see 160 people on Coruscant, or in the Imperial fleet. You saw 160 people TOTAL! As someone else already pointed out: The number in the top left corner of your screen, is the total amount of players in the instance/on the planet, not those inside your instance. Any doubts about the statement? Enter any given flashpoint/operation/whatever, and see how many people are listen top left. Much more than in your group. Alongside EU maintenance time, and let's not forget ability delay... This issue is turning me off the game entirely.

If I had subscribed I would have cancelled. I bought timecard instead... Which I thoroughly regret. These maintenance times are a joke. I will not stand for this, and will most certainly not buy more timecards. Baffling and unacceptable.

I agree entirely. The auto-centering camera makes kiting much more difficult than it should be, especially when it's against other players. Hey - it becomes nigh impossible.

Seems intentional. I can see the problem, what with you being on a PvE server and all, but then again - you do an AoE skill on a character that is flagged for PvP, thus damaging him... Of course that will flag you as well. I wouldn't even call it an exploit. People have been trying to trick other people into getting flagged since the dawn of time. In open world PvP you don't fight for honor, commendations or valor ranking. You fight because you like battling and killing other players. If you find some way you can do that, you do it. But again, I sympathize given the PvE nature of this server.
