  1. This is the most annoying bug I have come across in a long while. EVERY time I open a window be it my inventory, character screen, merchant, dialogue- anything- I always get a pop up window that says "Save Error- Unable to save interface " " (approx.) Then I have to close that window too. I mean, yes, it is not earth shattering and I can still play the game but it is just maddening having this window pop up every few seconds and having to close it manually each time it does. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix for stopping it? Please!
  2. I don't know anyone that targets a Jugg first, and if they are they are doing it wrong. If you think you have it bad, try playing a sage....
  3. No really, a bad joke. I have done every solo thing I can in this game and have decent 230 augmented gear. I wanted to try a "challenge" so i started veteran mode on the Eternal Empire story line....big mistake. The grey mobs regularly do 15-20k damage. If by a 50/50 chance that a single group of grey mobs dont kill me i have to meditate after every pull. After I finally got Marr, the first companion option he spawned with no weapon and was punching the mobs...Luckily i had a lightsaber in storage that I could give to him. After I gave him a weapon he did a little better. My chances of surviving a single pull went up to 75%. After many deaths I finally made it to the boss. He does 30k+ a hit. He blasts through Marr in seconds and then bursts me down before I can blink. I tried everything and couldn't get him below 50%. This is just the middle diffuculty setting? I can't see that anyone without full 246 Op gear would even stand a chance against these guys, much less a non raider looking for a single player challenge. It is way, way overtuned for where it should be. Even at half the current damage it would still be a challenge. Does no one play this at all and was this problem unknown? I have not heard about it. Just sad that this was not tested against the actual audience wanting to explore this content.
  4. I have played many, many mmo's and played SWTOR on and off since it launched and I have never seen any game with as big a power gap in pvp as this game. My main is a Jedi Sage with 230 gear. I have every slot filled and my equipment is pretty decent for anyone not running ops with large guilds all the time or pvping 24 hours a day. Yet, the disparity on see when I pvp is staggering and frankly, destroys all desire I have to pvp at all. I do my best to kite and stay out of melee, but that is impossible. There are far too many stuns and slows. It is standard practice for me to be stun locked until I die. I have literally been stunned 5 times in a row before...in a row. ( I realize this doesn't involve "power" per se, but it is still relevant.). My biggest complaint is what I am able to do in terms of damage versus my opponents. I use Telekinetics and my average hit is for about 4k. When I get really lucky I can crit for 10-12k, but this is rare. However, i regularly get hit for 18-22k by other players. All the time, multiple times in a row, 20k damage is coming in. My issue, with my oppoenents doing 4 TIMES the damage that I am doing, how am i supposed to be able to compete? I can't kite because stuns and slows are too obnoxious, I can't survive because robes....and I can't kill because my damage is low. What is there for me? My standard experience is run in fire of one or two hits...melee magically gets in range, stunlocks me, and BAM- DEAD. This happens over and over and over again. It is so frustrating.
  5. I fully support this. I too wish we could return to our roots. I really don't like the whole Eternal storyline at all. I wish that we could go back to the Republic and the Empire, the Jedi and the Sith. It would be very easy to refocus the story on rebuilding the galaxy after the war. Give us missions to this end. Somewhat like Taris. If we are a Jedi send us a misson to recruit a Jedi youngling, or wrest control of a planet from the Empire etc... Go back to your roots. This current storyline is taking us nowhere.
  6. It is a known fact that Imps are better geared for PVP, they have more people that pvp on a regular basis and have more skilled pvp players. There is little skill involved when you get hit with damage 10X more than you can produce. Little skill indeed.
  7. BW, you have heard non stop issues with pvp since before the patch even hit and we have had nothing but one short message saying "something" was coming. Do you intend to address this pressing issue SOON? Will you please communicate with us sooner rather than later if you do? I need to know if I should stay subbed or not. Thanks,
  8. The Road Ahead- How to revitalize SWTOR. 1. STORY- We realize that creating 8 different story lines can be very time consuming and difficult. We, as a community, would be willing to settle for 4- One for each archetype and the Empire and Republic equivalents can follow the same quest line. (Knights and Warriors etc). We are desperate for more good class content that is specific to our class, if not our chosen side. Yes, it will take longer, yes it will be harder, but I think that you will find that the community would be willing to wait and be supportive of this decision if they knew in advance that it was coming. 2. Direction of the Story- Enough of the single planet, doomsday weapon stories with bigger and bigger weapons. SWTOR needs to go back to its roots. Those roots are building up the side of your choice and feeling like you YOU make a difference. a. The Jedi- allow them missions to rebuild the Jedi order. Let them gather and train padawans, upgrade the jedi temple for class specific buffs, send jedi on missions across the galaxy and take votes on the jedi council on which direction the jedi should go with you as their leader. There is so much you could do to make you feel like you are a part of something and that you are the reason that the jedi did not go extinct. (Same for the sith on the other side- this could get really fun with sith centric missions) b. As a Trooper/sniper you could be tasked with rebuilding the Repubic/Sith. Go back to old worlds we have already seen and complete vital missions. Gather supplies for the Republic, update your facilities for class buffs, launch incursions into enemy territory and claim it for your own. You can see where I am going with this. Make us part of the story about something that matters. The force matters and the Republic matters. 3. Make faction warfare mean something. This does not have to be direct pvp (though it would be fun if it were). Let each side contend over a planet doing missions, objectives, crafting, operations etc…and keep score as to which side accomplishes more during the given time period. That side would then “Conquer” that planet for a day or so during which time the planet would have the best farmable materials for crafting, the best rewarding dailies (double daily rewards or something), and of course, bragging rights. 4. Bring back unique companions with companion quests. I really liked Theran Cedrax and his unique personality or the struggling padawan that was Nadia Grell. I think it was interesting to have to gear your companions too. Something more needs to be done, right now they just feel like place holders with no personality. 5. BALANCE PVP! 6. If you really want to be adventurous create a new faction other than the pubs and imps. They can be an “Outer Rim” faction or something with new classes. Grey Jedi, Cyborg, Witch, Engineer. (These are just ideas, I know the whole thought is far fetched) These are just a few ideas. Chime in and add your ideas and maybe the devs will see and we will be heard. Thanks,
  9. That is not what he is saying. He likes having better pvp gear because of how easy it is to gank people now. He likes that. He does not want an even playing field. He is essentially saying the "elites" have a right to smash everyone else because...well, they're elites.

  11. Quite the contrary. These "hard working pvpers" are honing their skills and getting better at PVP. That is what they are getting. They should not need vastly superior gear which allows them to gank whomever they want with little to no effort. Besides. If you cut off pvp for all the "casuals", the elites will have to wait a very long time between matches. Us "casuals" are what make your pvp possible. Remember that next time you want to put us down.
  12. As person that really enjoys PVP, but am by no means an expert or amazingly geared I can tell you that pvp is a wreck right now. I DO get ganked in moments by OP classes (Juggs, Maras, Mercs) I am a sage and my escapes are massively outclassed by their distance closers such that they are on me in moments and there is little to nothing I can do to escape. I am not kidding, In less than 3 seconds I am dead by someone doing 3-10 times more damage than I am capable of. (30-40K a hit or more) With my 230 gear (and wherever bolster is set) I average about 2500 a hit. On a really good crit with cooldowns I can get 10K. You see the difference in damage potential? That is a problem. It is not a small difference. IT IS HUGE.
  13. Classes need a full overhaul. Class balance has been coasting for far too long and it severely needs to be addressed. There are literally mountains of commentary about which classes are OP and which classes need a buff (how many merc op threads are there now?) Please, listen to your customers and let us know you plan to address this ASAP.
  14. You most likely have much better gear, because my cast times are longer. Regardless, when a Mara is incinerating you in your face 1.3 seconds is an eternity.
  15. My main is a sage and I enjoy PVP, but lose 80% of the time. I'm about average I would say, but I lose 4 out of 5 of my matches as a Pub (nothing new here). I am really worried about my class though. Some observations. 1. Long cast times make this class very susceptible to interrupts. This hits hard on Tele specs like me. 2. Weak healing and mitigation skills make this class very vulnerable. Light armor means that I can be blasted down by a single class in moments (and have, repeatedly). 3. My damage is very low. I blow everything I have and see my hits go about ...1500, 2000, 950...and the guy has 125000 HP. Then he comes up to me and hits me for 30K. This happens every time. I have a good uptime on my dps, but almost always hit middle of the pack on damage because my abilities simply are too weak. (GS: 230 or so) 4. CC is out of control. Diminishing returns is a joke. I can be stunned and silenced 5 times in a row and the only time the DR bar is full is when I am currently stunned. I spend more time out of control of my character than in control and that is not fun. Something has to be done to improve diminishing returns to mitigate this. There are more issues, but these are the main ones. I am not sure what to do to solve them, but I know it is not just me. More and more caster classes are disappearing from PVP to be replaced by masses of melee and its because it is incredibly easy to kill a ranged class with melee. It needs to be reworked.
  16. Mercs are OP. No denying that. In pretty much every WZ that I queue close to half the other side are all Mercs. They can practically global me to nothing. Its obscene.
  17. PVP is a joke right now. Unless you are a full time pvper who grinds all day long don't bother because you will be smashed in 3 seconds by someone who is. Bolster does not work and pvp for "casuals" is beyond painful. Speaking of jokes- CC in pvp is out of control. DM does not work AT ALL. I have literally been stunned 5 times in a row. After 2 CC's you should be immune to more CC for 4 seconds. Total loss of control of your character for an extended period of time IS NOT FUN. I love pvp, but as it is now I doubt I will be playing it.
  18. This patch is smaller than pretty much any other I can think of. Makeb was certainly larger. The dailes are horrible, with most requiring large amounts of resources just to start them. Others are raid/Operation missions that you can't solo. All in all, there may be 3 missions you can repeat on your own. Pathetic. I agree, you don't "blow through" 45 minutes of content. This content blows all by itself.

I spent most of the night searching for an open world PVP area on Iokath only to find out later it was just an instanced version of the planet where people can flag themselves.....needless to say I was very disappointed and upset. From the buildup they gave it, it almost sounded like an updated Ilum with actual WPVP. What a let down. This whole patch seems slapped together with little to no interest in quality. To think, I re-subbed for this.
  20. I was excited for this story line....until I played it. This is perhaps the most underwhelming experience I have had in some time. FACTION WAR IS REIGNITING!!!! Um....not really. All you did was reskin the mobs to look like Imperials. It does not feel like the faction war is on again. I was very disappointed. You can do better Bioware, and I expect you to.
  21. I agree. Get rid of RNG and bring back tokens that we can take and select the gear that we want/need. It would diffuse much of the angst out there right now and be far more fair.
  22. The chapter system you are using to tell the story can be fun short term but it cannot be the way forward. This game is losing what it once had and in order to revive it you need to go back to your roots. Drop the chapter system and go back to open, unique, class driven story lines. Let us go back to all the planets that we grew to love in the past except this time it is post war. Send us to Coruscant to aid in rebuilding the Republic. Send us to Tython to re-establish the Jedi Order. Let us quest on Corellia as pirates attempt to overthrow what remains of the shipyards the Republic desperately relies on. Allow both factions to go to specific planets, open world- non instanced with full story lines as it was in the original game. That is what we need. We need to advance the story and feel as if we are a part of the galaxy. With the chapter system I finished it I became Empress and then...nothing....Nothing changed. Please, reopen the galaxy, remake the existing planets to post war instead of worrying about making a brand new planet for 1 hour of content. If you do this this game can be great again.
