  1. Instead of blasting him and being plan arrogant, why not just help the guy out with the information he needs to be better in a nice way? I mean really people, are you that angry at the world that you have to flame anyone that misses something?

    While that is a very interesting idea and could work and more so be very fun, I think that could seriously imbalance things more than they are now. However, it would definitely bring more strategy to CCing, not just spamming what ever CC utility is up. Also, all CC would have to be re-evaluated with a change like that. Something I am pretty sure BW would not do with the scarce time they have now. With everyone screaming they want the game "their way" or they will leave, every change BW makes is extremely calculated for maximum effectiveness.

    Cutting the timers does not prevent Stun Locks, Root and KB/Pull combo issues. And Guard is great in PVP. I am completely baffled by that comment.

    I would like to add that the Force Doors should be perm opened until the Force Walls and Bridges are compromised. THEN they should start their cycled timer. Many times I have sat behind the wall while people set the Bridge, run across and plant the bomb. THen again when they bring down the walls and sprint to breach again. It gives us no chance with bad luck. We should be able to mount a Defense at EACH door. Not sit and watch them breach two points before we get out of the sitting room! If we are going to lose, it should not be from bad luck!

    Many really good points. I originally brought this up because I felt all types of CC were out of control in Huttball but seemingly not so bad in other PVP environments. You guys kind opened my eyes to hoping BW "does it better". I also believe without Huttball the Sorc/Sage OP threads would be a lot less. Lets face it, they are crazy in Huttball with their utilities! (Sorry not meaning to add that to this discussion!) I guess my biggest fear is them Nerfing CC to uselessness. I think that would be just as bad as having it OP. I hope they read a lot of the suggestions because they seem to have serious merit!

    As I do understand that 8 seconds is kinda BS to be out of it. Everyone has 1 Stun Release. Yes, it sucks if it is on timer but there has to be some kind of caution or people would just pop it all the time. I kind like having to make the choice.. Do I use it now or eat this stun? So if all Stuns/Mezz were 60% Resolve and all others were 40%, with your Release, you can get stunned, Release... Then Stunned again and force to eat it but any stun after that should be blocked. I do not think that is unreasonable. If you popped your Stun off before because you just HAD to get that guy before he got away, well themz the breaks. If some one Roots you just because they are spamming crap, a Stun+Root would give you a fast immunity. If you die to one stun, chances are you would have died anyway. Added Note: Any one see any reason why a CC Release should not add a 2 second immunity after? How many times do you get Stunned, release and immediately stunned again? RAGE!!!

    I absolutely agree with this: 4.) No effects should ignore resolve. If you going to allow effects to ignore resolve then what is the point of having it at all? ANYTHING that restricts or impairs someone's movement should add to the resolve bar. And in my opinion, Stuns and mezz should be a min of 60% of the resolve bar. All others should be at least 40%. This would eliminate double stuns and force people to think about if they really want to knockback, root/slow or pull.

    Please complain in the tons of other threads about Stuns. Open Minded Discussions welcomed here: For the record I play a Level 50 PT BM. As many have witnessed, a ton of people exit a Warzone, immediately sign in here and vent about excessive Stuns and CC. I am curious to know if others feel the same as me. I do not think Stuns/CC are really overpowered, exception: Huttball. In there they are absolutely silly OP. In both Void and Civil War I do not feel the pains like I do in Huttball. Besides getting my backside blow off the bridge which is really my own fault. Voidstar has its own issues which need to be fixed but as far as Stun/CC go, I think Huttball is making people jaded about the CC in this game.
  11. I am sure this was mention, or perhaps I am just missing something but why is the Pyrotech Tree the only tree that you cannot go past the 2nd tier without placing points into a Cylinder skill? It makes no sense to me. AP is already under powered (popular opinion, not fact) and it really sucks that in order to make an AP Hybrid, you have to waste points. Is it because it is a shared tree? We are already limited is mix matching, why this additional limitation?
  12. Your math seems virtually correct and I guess with the Stuns-Gone-Crazy in this game, it will help in PVP. Although, I would hate to rely on that for heat venting. But I still see the merit. However, In PVE, I do not get immobilized enough to get vented sufficiently. Even with more points dumped in the ST build I have found heat to be an issue at times with the way that threat works, or more so... doesn't. Also, if you mean to Tank in PVE with that build, I think you are going to have some upset Healers. And if you are PVE DPSing you are back to little venting solutions. I cannot say it will not work but I will admit I am a skeptic. The gear might be enough to compliment the build. Give a shout back after you try it and apply it practically. I am curious.
  13. Why on earth would you pass up Prototype Cylinders? I think you will have heat issue with that build in any fight that lasts more than one rotation or multiple opponents. I take it you would have CGC active?

    I have seen a few Republic Players (not saying they are the only ones, just the only ones I have seen do it.) land at one of the side turrets. At first I figured it was just lag or I was seeing something wrong but I heard another player mention it also. I did a "quick" search and found little on this. Is it a known bug/exploit or is is just lag showing someone drop off a speeder right at a side turret.
