  1. Too bad subs are up over 2 million now according to the latest reports. It's increasing... lol. Take your hate elsewhere. I'd say 2.5 the week after 1.2 drops as well.
  2. What is with this "End Game is Easy" Stuff. Please post screenshot of your NM clears.... lol. I only know of one guild on my server that has done it. Most of em are doing HM. Remember Normal = LFR (faceroll) Hardmode = Normal Nightmare = Hardmode If you want a WoW comparison. And if grinding to 60 valour and getting full battle master is quick... you have too much time on your hands. Though I do admit some sort of ranked PvP would really fill in some PvP endgame that is lacking, rather then grinding out gear.
  3. I think your problem is with the genre, not the game then. How is this different then other MMO's? If you don't like the above end game items, and don't want to roll and alt, you're playing the wrong game.
  4. Hmmm.... free month over as of yesterday... you're posting today. Did you accidentally sub again for a month?
  5. Yet your posting here and still subbed....
  6. Well, the OP is dishonest about the post and link in general. He makes a conclusion, the uses the data to prove his point, rather then the other way around. Sales have slipped in the UK. But it also indicates this does not account for online sales, and it also indicates that a rapid decrease is to be expected shortly after a games launch. You also don't take into account that there were over 2 million beta testers, and first week sales were estimated to be over 1.5 million. In any case, the independent study indicating 350k concurrent users is a little more useful. A ton of people are playing the game. But really, both don't tell us much two weeks after launch. What will be really telling how the overall player base feels is at the end of January and a count of how many subs there are. All this doom saying seems to me either trolling or misplaced energy that could be used elsewhere. If you have issues, I'm sure the developers would appreciate concise posts about features you would like implemented, why, and a thank you after, rather then some entitled demanding and telling them what idiots they are. They will do what they can, and if it's not enough for you individually, you have the right to move on. It would also save them on resources not having to filter through 90% of the trash on these forums. Bioware and EA make games for a living. I'm sure they are fully aware of where this game needs work, and have to allocated resources to fix what they can when they can, and plan for the future for items that aren't so easy to fix.
  7. A crit is required for your aimed shot to go to a 1.5 second cast. I would assume that GS favors crit over power based on this ability
  8. I read some of the thread, but didn't see this touched on. One thing I don't agree with the the priority system given in the guide. This isn't based on any math, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I would assume that any DPS rotation would require effiecent energy use that would keep the gunslinger in the top energy regeneration range for the fight. Now, there would be periods of burst every two minutes with your 50 energy cooldowns, where you could use your highest damage abilities to under 50 energy, then pop the cooldown. However, for the remainder of the fight, I would assume you would have to intersperse energy using abilities with your non energy using "auto-attack" I'm still leveling (in the 30's atm) however, for fights with any length, I've found I've been interspersing my auto attack every other ability to keep my energy in the high regeneration range. Has there been any math or theory craft done with respect to this, with different levels of haste? Having a priority list with a very limited energy supply you can blow in about 10-15 seconds doesn't seem optimal to do max DPS. The only time the priority lists seems useful is during a burst phase where you have your 50 energy cooldown and can dip to the lower energy regen range. Is there any discussion of this out there?
  9. You guys can turn off knock backs and the harpoon on the abilites bar. You know that right? Keep your companions geared and all of them will be fine. Bowdarr is better against packs of melee mobs, Corse against packs of ranged I find, but both are equally viable.
  10. I generally find it ok, however I have all my abilities keybound and on my 2 center tool bars. One thing I find useful is grouping abilities. I have my DPS abilites grouped together, my cooldowns together, my CC, stuns and control grouped together, etc. There are alot of abilites, but I find if you group them like this and put similar abilities together on your binds, you get used to positioning. i.e. I have dps abilities on 1-5, AoE S1-S2 CC, inruppt, and distance makers, and CC breakers on a,s,d,r And defensive and offensive cooldowns on f, t, g. As for DPS rotations, enter cover, throw sticky bomb, burst, DoT, aimed shot and either burst until out of energy or alternate an energy using ability and a no energy ability to keep myself in the high regen range, bursting and using colldowns to put me back in the range as necessary.
  11. So Bioware gave the players options of a few story driven flashpoints, and a few solely combat oriented flashpoints and QQ? They are all optional content. If you don't like one set of combat oriented flashpoints, don't do them and level. If you don't like the story ones, don't do them and level. But please, for the love of god... stop with all the tears.
  12. I'm curious about this as well. I'm somewhat obsessive compulsive about getting partterns. I huess what the OP is saying, is there any way to determine, once you've RE a crafted item, that you've gotten all the possible upgraded schematics for it. For example, a blaster I crafted, I now have 2 blue patternes from it. Is there a way to determine if I can learn anymore new blue patterns from RE the blaster? Otherwise I'll really just wasting mats and time crafting and REing and could move onto another pattern.
