  1. I have a green Chest piece on my guardian that I am completely crazy about. Its only level 34 so I will be unable to use it anymore. I was thinking you make a chest piece mod similar to your invisible chest, but instead create a oj moddable chest from any white/green/blue peice
  2. i have a problem with this.. lol
  3. Heres the issue that I have with illum. Skip to 2:40 for best results.
  4. New blog up so come on by and check it out before forums reset!!!
  5. @ Krivilicious Thanks! If you have any feedback on how I can better it, let me know @JeriKu The only dps abilities I have on my bars are sticky grenade, Mortar, and Pulse cannon. The reason I don't have dps is because in Operations I have no time for dps. The only situation that I have time for dps is when we are clearing trash and that's why I have the aoe abilities. I'm not saying that it's wrong to dps as a healer because I believe that BioWare actually intended on healers dps'ing but with our current operations group, I just don't have time between heals. I appreciate your feedback though, and let me know if you have any other suggestions/ideas.
  6. @sixinarow I dont want to say that alacrity is useless because it does knock a few seconds off spells and channels. I do however highly recommend stacking Aim, Crit, power, and surge in that order. The trooper has a small ammo pool that is unlimited. So maximizing your dps/heals with the little ammo you have is much more important. Also our healing/dps abilities are fairly quick, and on the move so alacrity is the least important. You can put these points in last, or you can take other skills it doesnt matter. I also recommend that once you hit 50 to respec to a healing spec because you want to make sure that you can handle healing operations. Even if you only do flashpoints you will need to fill a standard role of full dps, or heals. thank you for your feedback, and let me know how your leveling is going!
  7. Thanks savein, glad to hear it. I am pretty busy with my leveling as of now, I should start updating it in the next few weeks.
  8. I think grav round is absolutely perfect. It hits like a mack truck in PvP (and PvE) and people have no idea theyre being hit or even about to die until theyre at 20% and you pop your High Impact Bolt and theyre eating dirt.
  9. @Chris I personally will be putting the points in both first responder and weapon calibrations because they will make a difference. Those are a % of alacrity rather than alacrity rating. Either way alacrity is on the bottom of my list as a trooper, but not completely forgotten. ALSO Mech Healing website UPDATE! - updated pics for blog - my operations key binds page (in progress) - smuggler update - NEW BLOG! - NEW FRIENDS! Take a look and submit some feedback! may the mech be with you!
  10. o absolutely, and any spec can be effective its all about your playstyle and how you use your skills/abilities.
  11. The good thing about hybrid is that you can be an effective dps, or healer unlike what most of you are use to in WoW. Once you reach level 50 I would highly recommend staying one tree for your "tree topper" but as far as leveling goes, going a hybrid gun medic will give you a lot of utility. In SWTOR you can invest only 12-13 points and be good at either spec for leveling, and flashpoints ( NOT operations)
  12. @Waupli I personally would go straight into gunnery spec to get Grav Round. It is crucial to have while leveling. Now you have a choice, you can either go hybrid like myself, or you can go the rest heals if your really into healing flashpoints. Im currently level 36 with my Gun Medic spec with 15 gun and 12 CM and I'm loving it. I can heal flashpoints with ease, and top heals for PvP. I can also top charts on PvP and burn it in flashpoints. Come check out my spec HERE, I think it will help
  13. @ Cobra Here is my work in progress for keybinds, I quickly set this up so that you can get an idea. It is a part of my site and is not even close to be finished, so check it out HERE. Once your done looking at the keys take a look at the rest of the trooper guide, it might help. For rotations you want to get in the habbit of using AMP before MP for the -2 ammo charge. The great thing about healer is that there is NO set rotation and your "personal rotation" depends on you and your party's playstyle (ie: moving, los'ing, skill, etc) With that said my "personal rotation" goes a little summn like dis. (excluding BI) Before fight I stack 30 charges of CSC. HS tank until ~75% AMP HS until low(depends on how much dmg your tank is taking, might have to skip) MP HS if you can SCC if you just chained AMP, then MP (super charge cells -USE EVERY TIME ITS UP right after you use SCC use Kolto bomb for 10% dmg reduction sheild on tank repeat As far as crewskills I would take Biochem, Bioanalysis, and Diplomacy. Survival is the key as a healer, and being able to have reusable medpacks, stims, and adrenals is by far the best skill to have. I cant count the number of time I have taken aggro, used my sheild, medpack, and kolto bomb to surive. You can craft reusable adrenals for crit, and alacrity for some clutch heals. Once again take a look at my blog/guide HERE to learn a little about medics, it is a new site so its currently in progress, and with leveling I havent had much time. I hope that you enjoy it and please let me know what you think via pm, on my SWTOR thread, or on the website.
