  1. Just wondering if its me or other do other people feel the same. I think I'm going to try out RTS games, I'm possibly burnt out from mmo's.
  2. Most servers are standard or light on the weekends. Seems like many people left. I myself am leaving, not because it's a terrible game, its because I just can't get into the game. I can't immerse myself. I tried playing other games like Rift but it looks like I'm burnt out from gaming all together, or maybe I'm burnt out from mmo's. So, do you think people are leaving SWTOR?
  3. I use an AMD FX 6 core. I get between 25-35 fps on the fleet and in wz's.
  4. Need help identifying whats wrong with me. My gaming history: I am 30 years old, played console games on the 1st Nintendo, Sega Genesis, SNES, N64 and PS2. I kinda stopped playing console games for over 10 years now, and turned to pc games. I turned to pc games because I like to play over the net with real people. My first game was Age of Kings back in 2004. Played it so much, really liked it a lot. Then I tried WoW from 2006 to 2010. It was my first mmo, before that I didn't know what an mmo was. I really liked WoW. I dabbled in LOTRO but never got into it, and that's about it for mmo's. Now onto TOR. I was so hyped for this game that I bought a top end pc just for TOR. I liked the first 1-10 lvls then I move onto the next planet and I don't feel like exploring or questing. I lvled from 15-50 from class quests and wz's. The thing I don't like about TOR is the loading screens going from planets to planets. It's not how long they take, or why I have to run through a space station to get to the planet, its the fact that its not seemless like WoW. In WoW you explore entire continents without a single loading screen. I don't think that this is the thing that has me not interested to play TOR. Am I just burnt out from mmo's or just gaming all together.
  5. This game is a 2012 game, yet, still has late 90s, early 2000's mechanics. What the next generations of mmo's should look like is. TERA combat system. TSW lvlving up system, where there are no lvls and you can go quests in what ever zone you wish. Also next generation mmo needs to have more than 2 factions, more than 4 classes(not mirrored classes), preferably 10+. Talent trees like Rift. The only thing I would take from this game is the voice over dialogue.
  6. I don't know what it is. I cant make myself quest in this game. All I do when I log in is get the pvp daily, do a few wz's and log out. I don't know if its the many loading screens you have to go through to go to different planets or what thats making me just not get into this game. Maybe I like the fantasy setting more, you know, elves, orcs, dwarves etc. Or maybe I'm just bored with gaming all together? Sucks cause I have nothing to do.
  7. 1. To many loading screens. WoW has it better because you can explore entire continents without 1 loading screen. 2. Copy and pasted city hubs. In this game, the main hubs are fleets and both factions have the same thing. The cities in this game are tiny and dont even feel like cities, especially DK. 3. All classes mirrored each other. It feels like theres only 4 classes total in game. In WoW, there is 10 different classes.
  8. So I built a new pc just for TOR, but get crap fps. And I have a feeling this is how the game is going to run forever cause of the hero engine, I heard bad things of. And I'm already bored of the game, actually been bored for about a month now. The many loading screens just break immersion. How both factions have a copy and paste fleet hub. All classes mirrored each other so its really only like 4 classes total in game. I thought I was gonna play this game for a long time, I thought I was going to explore all the planets and do all the quests but I cant make myself get off the fleet. All I do is sit there and do wz's. I lvled from 15 to 46 just from wz's and class quests. What a bummer this game is. No seemless zones like WoW. No smooth game play like WoW, sucks, man.
  9. What will your next mmo be? The Secret World if looking very good, it is very innovative.
  10. This^^. If they fixed ability delays, how come they couldnt fix mount delay. Would mount delay be much easier to fix than ability's?
  11. I cant feel a difference and yes the speeder still dismounts when going forward at the end of cast bar. That right there should tell you the problem is still present. I do however feel a smoother wz experience. Not as smooth and sweet as WoW game play but its ok.
  12. UP The Arkanian Legacy Standard PvE English You rolled on a low pop server. Try rolling on a high populated pvp server. They're much funner.
  13. I have a HD 6870, AMD FX 6 core cpu, 8 gb ddr3, win 7 64bit
  14. On the fleets, in wz's, on planets. I play a lot of wz's and it sucks to play with such low fps around 20. And I have a high end pc too.
  15. Stop giving people hope, guys. Its still the same, Im not even logged in and I can tell its still the same.
  16. The issue is not the loading time. Its the fact that there are so many. In WoW, you can explore entire continents with 0 loading screens. You cant do this in ToR.
  17. This. You know, ToR has the most loading screens out of all the thousands of mmo's out there. Thats a bad stat to have.
  18. Its not about that. Im saying loading screens ruin immersion. Why cant the game be more seemless? Excuse me if I misspelled anything.
  19. I dont understand this either. Lets say you are on Tatooine. When you go in your ship, you load. And even if you want to go back out to Tatooine, you have to load screen again.
  20. There is just way to many of them here. Not only that, but they take so long even with 8GB of DDR3. Loading screens at every corner are immersion breaking. You spend 40% of your playing time staring at a loading screen.
