Not only did they add that in 1.2 but they announced way before that they would start allowing cross-faction emails. I dumped my Imp toons on the lower pop server and re-rolled them on my higher pop server with my Republic toons months ago. If you've been here since Early Access, then not sure how you missed the cross-faction email change.
Well, I think I'd heard about the cross-faction email, but my problem is Cross-Faction+Cross-server, since like I said, I wanted 8 on each server, 4 class, 2 AC, etc.
-
Just put in character name. Problem solved.
Ok, for arguments sake, I'll try emailing something from one server to another, rofl. If it works....well, I'll be highly happy. If not, well, I'm no worse off than I was before.
-
Ok, fair enough, but I just decided for consistentency's sake I'd have a Imp Server and a Rep server, is all, makes sense, right? If you could have had 16 char slots, then I'd have just picked one server. But with 4 classes x 2 ACs for each, it just seemed more logical to have a Imp and a Rep one. Now, if you can do cross-server emails too, at least within your own account? Great, if so, how?

Well, I've been here since Early Access, so I didn't think you'd wind up being able to do cross-faction emails on the same server. Now, if you tell me I can now do Cross Faction+Cross-Server emails, I'll be dancing. Cause again, I made a Imp Server and a Rep Server, 4 of each class, 1 of each AC on it.

Well thats flat out crap. I have a Republic server and a Imperial server, simply because whats the point of cluttering up a server with alts that can't help each other in terms of crafting/items/money?
-
Someone made this one for the Imperial Agent, and it is truly AWESOME:

Ok, say on Ashara, she's got a mode where her attacks have a chance to do X damage over 6 seconds vs her attacks having 15% armor penetration. The damage over time doesn't seem like a lot, but people tell me that for melee companions always keep them in his mode. Is this correct, or is the armor penetration mode better?
-
I've been told that, while the number doesn't seem high, putting a melee dps companion in the "chance for DOT" is superior than the 15% armor penetration mode?
-
I know that most classes have some kind, but I'd love it if there was one that focused on it more. But that's probably more due to my love of characters in City of Heroes/Villains who could reduce enemies to crying wiggling lumps armored in tissue paper, or make my allies into raging paragons of invincibility and destruction. Thoughts?

Running a e6750 Intel dual core 2.66 CPU, no OCing done
512 meg Geforce 9800GT video card
3 gigs of ram.
Now, I've been told that any one of these is a bottleneck for the other two no matter how I upgrade it, and that I'd be better off upgrading all 3, save that I doubt I have the money. So, barring putting in a 4th gig(though I hear Windows 7 32 bit doesn't read more than 3), what would benefit me more, slightly better CPU, or Video card?

I mean, obviously bump up Shield/Absorb somewhat, though I figure Dark Ward helps the shield chance immensly, though I'm wondering what else to work with? Defense, power, maybe try and get crit up to around 20-25%, until I get the +crit from my Sniper, or in spite of? I'm truly curious.
-
Is it effective? I mean, how well does it work overall? I'm 41 now, and half tempted to test out the hybrid build here.
-
How do you Vengeance tank? Do you still use Soresu+Shield generator?
-
Is 14 now, I took the advice and went Biochem/Bioanalysis/Slicing. She'll be using the blue/purple reusables my 50 Biochem Sorc can churn out easier. Hell, I'm probably going to make my Marauder Biochem user too.
-
I'm just wondering, if at some point, stop trying to stack +crit and rely on the +Crit from your primary stat?
-
As far as I've seen, only Lightsabers of some kinds come with a Light/Dark requirement, no other weapons, that I've noticed. So, how come Sith/Jedi get the extra qualifier?
-
And what if my Operative is going Concealment, no healer spec at all? I'm honestly torn by what to do, heh.
-
Whether or not I plan on PVP, biochem is my best choice huh? Thank God my Sorc took biochem, so I don't have to flip out trying to RE everything she'd use then, heh.
-
I've got everything covered but Armormech, but I also have a Powertech I'm making who could take Armormech as well, so, I'm at a loss. What would go well with my Operative, or, should I make her a gatherer, and go Slicing/Bioanalysis/Underworld trading OR Diplomacy?
-
IE, return purple mats?

I've made Overkill and Critical versions, but now when I try to RE any of the base one shown there, it says no research available, so how come there's only 2 purple versions of this blue, or are schematics of items gotten from missions or drops not as widely RE-able?
Update: Actually, I found the Redoubt version of this I'd unlocked as well, so apparently when it comes to schematics gotten from missions/drops, rather than trainers, it goes like this: Blue version=3 purple versions, and then I guess each purple version gets its own 5 advanced purple versions?
-
I'd heard the rumor that you'd be able to get him somehow in 1.3, I guess not? Nuts. I want my "assassin droid who loves his job too much". at my Juggernauts back, preferably aiming over his shoulder at oncoming meatbags.
-
Oh, I mean by dropped I mean awarded from crew skill missions.
-
I asked this before but no one understood me, but this, I just mean is there a archive of the items per craft skill category that you can only make if you got the schematic via trade, drop, etc. As in, I've gotten some Biochem Implant schematics that I don't think I would have been able to get from the trainer. So I'm curious, mostly I guess in terms of Armstech/Artifice/Biochem.
What makes ok money off Artifice?
