  1. Im not happy with the fact that it seems like the top tier talent we're going to lose access to, until we hit 55, or am I reading it wrong? If you need to put in several extra points now to get it again, that will be annoying to go from 50-55 missing, say heatseeker missiles, crushing blow, etc, etc?
  2. Just on personal preference, I was on line at the NYC Launch Event, and various people were doing video interviews with people on line for the launch, talking with them about what they played(I was day 1 Early Access), and I unfortunately can never remember the name of the site, or sites, that had put up videos of these. So, if anyone who was on line for the NYC Launch remembers or the like, please, lemme know? Be nice to see myself in a video talking about TOR and eagerly awaiting entrance to the event. :)
  3. I played my Male SW as sort of a more reasonable and fair version of Darth Vader: Killing someone for just the hell of it was foolish, unless they were SERIOUSLY asking for it, and you often got one chance to fix your mistakes, if not, sorry, you're done. His view was, the whole point of the Sith Code was to use your emotions and passions as your strength, not be a drooling psycho.
  4. So, the droid parts can go to 2 tiers of purple? Bloody hell. I won't be trying that the char hits 50, or worst case, between my cybertech and my artificer, I just make a bunch of orange parts and make the mod/enhancement/armorings? Just wondering what would be cheaper overall.
  5. Ok, my Cybertech Jugg is working on making droid parts for my Jedi Knight and Trooper, and I was curious. I RE'd a bunch of basic parts, that were blue, and scored all 3 higher tier recipes for the piece, ie Critical/Overkill/Redoubt. However, these are all purple recipes, and as such, require purple underworld metals. My question is, can these droid parts be RE'd even further, to a second tier of purple, like most items tier 1 purple get? If so, it seems DAMN expensive to do that, having to get purple materials, then waste them, but if Critical/Overkill/Redoubt is as far as the non-customizable parts are, thats fine.
  6. My involvement with that game has dropped dramatically now that I'm back on TOR, cause seriously, making ok money casually in this game is WAY easier. Hell, getting a drop for something to sell in STO is a miracle half the time. And yeah, cruddy lockbox luck there too. So lets pray anything from lockboxes in TOR if they do it is also obtainable another way, even if that way involves having a sub-which I plan on keeping.
  7. Yeah, but as many people who quoted my disappointed statements keep forgetting I said: I have a REPUBLIC server and a IMPERIAL server. I set up alts and the like way back when, and I just like to keep them consistent, is all. So I have 8 Imps on one, 8 Rep's on another. Increase the number of character slots on the server and I'll be more happy, hell, I might just condense everyone on one server if they go to a full 16.
  8. The only author I ever met and had him sign my book was Richard Marcinko. The guy is about the most egotistical dude on the face of the earth. He, however, earned the right to be so. And even that didn't stop him from being extremely cool.

Unfortunately, not all authors can balance ego with cool. *shrug*

Lucky bugger. Rogue Warrior FTW-and may they burn the copies of the video game that he had nothing to do with. I admit though, after he stopped writing the books with I forget his name, they co-wrote the first what 7 books together, the tone felt wrong, less realistic and the like.

  9. I just wish I had more of a safety net/nest egg/work with money, like I can on my Imp server. Spend tons of money on missions to gather materials and then RE a couple hundred level 49 blue implants to get to the purples? Sure, no problem, there, I can afford it. On my Republic server....not so much.
  10. True, its just annoying, since I have a nice amount of extra loot on my Imperial Server, cause I got in on Slicing big time before it apparently got thrown into a wall, but far less on my Republic server, Jedi Covenant. Oh, how I wish I could email money cross-server, to at least characters within one's own account. And since both servers are 8/8, I'm kinda screwed. So, basically, make a bunch of orange sabers for ease of use and hope for augment slot crits?
