New player, played closed beta/open beta and a bit at the launch
Nireos replied to Floppikatten's topic in New Player Help
Welcome (or welcome back I guess). Many guilds will post in gen chat on the starting worlds and on fleet. I suggest asking a lot of questions before selecting a guild. "Decent Guild" depends on what you are looking for. Some guilds have various requirements for being a member such as acquiring some many Conquest Points or doing so many activities. So it really depends on what you are looking for. As for leveling...Doing the Class quests and planetary quests will usually give you more than enough XP to out level the planet. Add on an guild XP bonus or XP stims and you will hit max level in a relatively short amount of time. -
It is available. It is on a weekly rotating schedule. It cost 12 PvP tokens.

Can you change the wrong account to another account
Nireos replied to luweiayanamai's topic in New Player Help
You will need to contact Customer Service directly. They will not help from the forums. -
Most likely you need to download and install DirectX. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=35

Then you should file an in game report. They won't do anything about from the forums.
-
You had to play on the PTS during a specific timeframe when they were testing the PvP. I don't remember the timeframe.

The game is great. Keep in mind it is really designed for console. So if you play it on a PC, you should have a controller and not use keyboard/mouse. It is on sale because the second one just released.

Same. Even took me 5 attempts to log in to the forums.

As the subject says, please make Commander’s Compendium BoL.

CXP and Daily Areas throughout September
Nireos replied to KeithKanneg's topic in General Discussion
Keith, Personally, I think the idea of a rotating daily area that offers a higher CXP reward is perfect. As you stated, it will prevent other areas of the game from being ignored, it will prevent players from "burning out", and it make sure it is different so we are not running the same daily area until our eyes bleed. It would be nice to see if you could rotate it on a daily basis. Similar to the daily Operations. Looking forward to see what you guys come up with. -
Eric, Then this does not solve the issue of getting a belt every time I open a crate. If the armor piece has to go back into a belt, then I am still not gearing up. I don't think you guys have thought this through completely. Plus you are giving gear based on discipline. While this great for most, how do I gear up my sage who flips between DPS and Heals. I understand your intent but I really don't think you guys have thought this through completely. I realize it is too late in the development cycle to make any changes now nor am I say change it or I will leave, I do think you guys need to revisit this and plan adjustments in an early patch if possible. Removing the Bind to Slot (ie Chest, Hands, Belt, ect) would solve one of the issues. As for the second issue of getting gear for dual discipline, I am not really sure what to tell you there unless you dropped 2 pieces...1 for each discipline that an advanced class could be (assuming they could be tank/dps or heals/dps).

knights of the fallen empire reunion with old companions
Nireos replied to Leppom's topic in General Discussion
You understand the story continues on into the new expansion and that more companions will be returning then right? Throw a temper tantrum now is pointless. KotFE is done. They are not going to change it just because you don't like something. There is also a terminal that can be used to return all you companion. It is just not part of the story and they will not be usable during the story. -
When you say they are sitting the box, are you referring to the Cartel Window for unclaimed items? In other words, you have not transferred them to your inventory? If this is the case, claim the items into your inventory on the "wrong" character that purchased them. Then the "bound" timer of 36 hours will start. Once that timer wears off, you can then transfer them to the other character either through mail or legacy storage.

Equipped colour crystals not showing up in collection??
Nireos replied to Tanga_Yal's topic in New Player Help
Those are not Cartel Crystals; so they are not available in Collections. -
Patch 4.1a: CRAFTING REMAINS BUGGED!!!!!
Nireos replied to BelenUmeria's topic in General Discussion
Did you bother to read the patch notes? There was no mention of them trying to fix that bug in this emergency patch. -
The new Artiface Crafting Schematics (except Color Crystals) all require Armstech Assembly Components
-
Isn't that where the secret world boss "Queen of the Sands" (or something like that) is supposed to be also.
-
Why is it such an issue that you can only attach them one at a time. It doesn't take a lot of effort. All you have to do is right click each mod when you are composing the mail. It takes less than 5 seconds to attach all 8 to a single mail. This is assuming they are all unbound.
-
Or you can buy them on the GTN; but they are not cheap.

The level 60 token locks you out of all previous story. It is designed to allow you to jump into KotFE immediately. Since you are posting here, you must be a sub (unless you are using her account), so you should have access to SoR on any no level 60 token character.
