What is Biotech?

So I'm nearing level 30 now and I'm getting OWNED as of late as a pure healer. I keep hearing all the other guys brag about their "Death Field" and this and that damage and stuff, and it sounds like they are having NO PROBLEMS leveling by going lightning/madness. Now I must admit... I'm a right as rain in ANY group.. we ran a flashpoint the other night and I had a great group, and I the healing was fantastic.. but trying to solo has become very expensive as I find myself spending a fortune on repairs... I do not want to have to get away from my corruption skills... but if I do.... What is the penalty (if there is one) for resetting your skill tree? Is it as simple as clicking the little X.. and reclicking the other skills? Do you have to pay to redo? Thanks in advance..

Took care of it this morning... went back to Alderan, and noticed I still have one more quest to do at Tatt.. gonna knock it out tonight..

1. Why do they have "mod stations" if it is not needed to modify your equipment? 2. Do you have to fill in all 4 slots for the modification to work i.e. if I just put in ONE component and hit apply, will it work? 3. Can you buy all components for mods off the vendors? Thanks in advance.

So wait.. you're telling me (at level 25 or so) you can take the droid out on missions with you instead of Kheem?

Going to try and craft some implants today....we'll see if I can get lucky.

So I just got 28 very much enjoying myself.. my next class quest (along with Kheem) require me to go to Tatt.. should I go there now? Most of the mobs in the areas I've seen are 29-30 in Alderaan. I know I can fly back and forth, just wondering if I should wait until 30 to go, or go now... I welcome your advice, suggestions...

somewhat upsetting that only biochems can use the unlimited ones.. but I guess that is what's needed.....

Agree with most of you, not having too much problem so far (28) healing w/ regen.. what I love about it is- it's not just spam hitting one or two buttons.. I'm finding myself experimenting with certain skills, and techniques... I love the "strategy" I'm finding with this character as a healer. As a side note.. I must say, having "competent" group members makes all the difference in the world. I've had a few groups where it was a "free for all" and it was a nightmare trying to keep up.. I warned them a couple times, then when they did not make the necessary changes, I dropped group..I've also been with groups who really know how to play there char.. and I found myself healing minimally, and actually dpsing just as much.. it is a total blast!!! See you all on the battlefield!

One of the things I personally love about this game.. I really want to see how the storyline plays out for my main.... and now I want to see how it plays out for some of the other classes....

Got my main.. now I've started my Jugg, looking at and Operative perhaps for my next... what about you?

I love to heal, I love the support aspect of being a healer. It is a selfless, sometimes thankless job that is critical to a group's success (as are the rest, tanking, dps, etc). I really enjoy being "the healer", and I try my best to keep my group up. No guild yet, but have been flattered by many offers so far.

Check the skill tree.... you can go lightning, madness, or combo of both....

So for those of you that have already hit the level cap.. how is it??? 1. Did you like you skill tree choices, if not what would you/did you change? 2. Overall what do you wish you could have done differently? 3. How does the class play at max level, was it what you had hoped? 4. What about "raids" or high level flashpoints/heroics, is your Sorcerer doing as well as you'd hoped? Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks for the heads up... I recently leveled to 27.. and I have been upgrading him whenever the quest reward is up... Enjoying the game very much so far...
