As far as I understand, this is working as intended. When 3.0 arrives, you don't have to buy your skills with credits anymore, so they are already starting with that now so that players are not discouraged from leveling before 3.0.
There's no reason to think this. The skills you got from your skill tree are not the same skills you paid money for from the Class Trainer.

This is correct. If it buffs everyone to 55, then a reasonable mechanic would buff the character's and companion's total stats to the intended level for the class mission instance, not to the level cap. Assuming that the level the bolster targets is parameterized with the current KDY buff, this would mean adjusting the level target to match the intended level for the specific mission instance upon entry, rather than using 55 across the board, which would be silly.
Oh, ok. Well since you're asking for this for the 12x XP I can give you a definitive answer. No.
Even if they wanted to do this, they simply don't have the time to do it before 3.0 hits. Remember, with the KDY buff the mission itself is already 55 and the buff brings you to 55.

I think the suggestion is to buff to the level of the mission, not buff to 55.
Alright, well that mechanic is not already implemented in game so it wouldn't make it into the game before 3.0 dropped. And it would have to buff the level of the mission as well as your character or you would be a level 1 doing a level 55 mission.

I don't think I ever outright said that I don't think it would launch this year. I did question plenty communication issues, and hypothesized that it was possible that the lack of communication was going to be because of a delay.
Anyways, yay it's coming this year. I don't see anything in the announcement that couldn't have been announced a while ago though.

You realize that it buffs you to 55 right? You would go through and 1 shot everything for over half of your leveling.

I wouldn't equate a WZ which takes less than 15 minutes to complete to the same as a SM Op. Simply put, PvE needed another Op. they got two, awesome. I look forward to playing them. PvP has nothing in the foreseeable future. And that confuses me. In the details I expected to see,
But alas, we have nothing. No hint at new plans for PvP in the coming expansion which kind of baffles me. I would be fine with them saying that have plans for a new WZ or something along those lines. Any piece of a bone to chew on would be great so long as we are given details as time goes on pertaining to them. But to completely exclude a large portion of your game from an expansion? I don't get it.
TFB was over two years ago.
To be fair, before this morning nothing had anything in the foreseeable future. There were no hints of anything, except that whatever it was it would involve Revan. It's not like they only excluded PvP. They also didn't say anything about GSF or GSH.

Yes that's correct. Similarly you could not join the Dread Masters, the Hutt Cartel, Darth Malgus, or any other people that you fight.

How are you supposed to use your 12xp bonus on your level 55? Is that what you're asking?
You're already at max level. You can't get any more xp. You would use this if you made another character.

Well I think 1 year is more relevant than 2 years, but whatever. PvP has gotten in the last 2 years Ancient Hypergates (Dec 2012), 3 Arena maps (Sept 2013), Another arena map (Dec 2013), Quesh Huttball (April 2014) which brings the total to 6.
For ops in the last 2 years we have SnV, TC, DF, and DP. So, 4.

I agree. However to finally announce 3.0 and the main news it brings and say nothing about PvP is a little concerning.
They didn't say anything about GSF or GSH either. I wouldn't be concerned.

and thats the crux. isn't it. You want a way for others to sell/give/donate/subsidize your subscription. With the (false) claims that they will make more money.
If a person gets benefits of subscription without pay for it, they are not making money. If that person cannot afford or choose not to pay for a subscription they should not get any benefits because someone else choose to pay twice. This is and will continue to be a bad idea and will result in less income and not more. There are faster and better selling items than this.
If for no other reason than it would give GOLD SELLERS a chance to buy a subscription and get access to forums etc.
Maybe you could ask parents/relatives for subscription time rather than money/gifts you could take that $50 a month spend $15 a month on this game and still ahve $35 dollars more than most of us got as an "allowance" when growing up.
Pre cell-phone I paid my own gas, food, snacks, movies. etc.
I had to pay for my own cell-phone while in college as well.

You started off strong, but went off on a tangent to where you're very wrong. You act like people shouldn't be able to buy something for someone else. Are you going to write a strongly worded post on the McDonald's forums if I buy my buddy a cheeseburger and no one ever bought you one?
If the net result is that for every subscription sold gets BW $15 it doesn't matter where the money came from, and there is no possible way for them to lose money on it.
GOLD SELLERS can already buy a subscription and access the forums. Currently there's nothing stopping them. So his solution doesn't change anything.

I'll say the same thing that I've said in the threads asking about PvP details. We've gotten more GSF stuff in the last year. No new ops in the last year. PvE needed some love.
I would expect something for PvP, I'm not sure about GSF. I love it, but I doubt it's a big money maker for them.

I think we will get something pvp related in 3.0.
Having said that, pvp got quesh huttball not long ago. There hasn't been a new operation for over a year now. PvP does not need the love that PvE needs.
