  1. Exactly! Which is exactly how Nightmare Pilgrim is now. There isn't an issue with the Clickable object, and I would't have any issues with Gargath & Primal Destroyer having a 5 day debuff similar to Mental Exhaustion with NP (which is exactly like an Ops lockout, as you can do it once per week). It's the damn 2-4 hour Respawn timers. That is where my frustration lies haha. Thanks everyone... I appreciate the comments & feedback!
  2. Yeah Jarlgon, I full support the Debuff that Nightmare Pilgrim gives when you kill him. That 5 day Debuff prevents players from farming Nightmare Pilgrim over and over for the Campaign Boots and other Black Hole gear it drops.
  3. I also agree with this! What I thought was interesting is that you work so hard on affection for your companions (obviously to help with your Profession & Crew Skills) but your character has the option of Romancing one out of your five companions. They do a nice little scene where yall hook up, get married, and then your companion husband or wife sends you 3 gifts in the mail with these letters of love & devotion. And then... well, that's it. It just stops. Nothing more after that. I was disappointed, as I know many were.
  4. xGBox, said it perfectly. I typically have no issues what-so-ever with Force (unless it's an issue with DPS not doing their part to stay out of Red Circles or using their threat reduction CD's properly, etc.) so I have a basic rotation I try to keep up. Keep in mind as a Sorcerer, you can Innervate your target until you proc "Force Surge". Your next Consumption does not degenerate Force. While it does tick a little bit of life away, you can easily make up for that by putting your Revivification (Healing Circle) down and it heals you back up to full in no time at all. Or, in a clutch situation... Innervate the tank (or a DPS or yourself!), Consumption, and then use Resurgence on yourself before you set your Revivification down. During heavy dmg fights, ie. HM Denova, I pretty much Consumption after each Force Surge proc to keep myself @ full Force (providing my health allows it, of course). If I'm really in a bind, I'll Consumption 3 times to build up the Force I need and then pop a Medpac to help mitagate some of the dmg I took with my Consumption. I'm also making sure to pop my Recklessness & Trinket(s) on Cooldown, as well as Adrenals when needed. Forgive me, I'm not sure of the correct spells for the Sage, but yall have a similar rotation just different spell names, correct? Anyway, that's just my $.37.
  5. That's exactly what I'm getting at. I suggested the other World Bosses as well mainly because they're needed for the Weekly Priority Targets IV quest that gives you Black Hole Commendations as well. People are still needing those pieces so they can rip out the Armoring/Mods/Enhancements. Heck, I'd take an hour over 2 hours! I just thought a half hour was good so there wouldn't be quite as many guilds "fighting" over him. People start to get nasty or turn into douchebags and that's a little disheartening. Aside from the Guilds out there every week killing him, you still have pug groups trying (and succeeding!) as well. When you kill Nightmare Pilgrim, magi-melcior, you get a 5 day Debuff that is called "Mental Exhaustion". You can not kill him again until that Debuff wears off. So that part's covered! =) I'm sure Bioware has a Respawn timer in effect for a reason (ie. trying to make that boss more of an elite target, kill, whatever) but I still don't understand why they made that one fight the only boss that drops Campaign Boots. It ultimately does bring up the issue of possibly impeding progress. Thanks everyone for the replies!!
  6. I had originally opened up a ticket in frustration and was kindly told by Protocol Droid W3-V8 to post my idea here so that's what I'm going to do. =) I did a search and could find nothing w/in the Suggestion Box on this topic already. I did see several topics on different Forums, but since this is the one she stated is looked over by the Development Team, I'm going to post my suggestion here. Each Week you start afresh with your Priority Targets in which you and your Guild Mates are to kill 3 of the World Bosses for Gear & Black Hole Commendations. Primal Destroyer on Belsavis, Gargath on Hoth, and Nightmare Pilgrim on Voss. Most Guilds raid evenings (most, not all) and there days vary throughout the week, but it seems like the timeframe is typically anywhere from 7:00PM EST - 12:00 (Midnight) EST depending on the people w/in the Guild. Aside from those 3-7 Guilds, you have other people who pug the world bosses just as they do the Operations. It hadn't really been an issue until the server transfers for us (which I will never ever say anything but thank you to Bioware for doing) because our server had maybe 15 people on it in the evenings on a good night and we could organize my guild & one other to hit all the world bosses needed. Especially since Nightmare Pilgrim is the only boss to drop Campaign Boots. Now that there's 3-7 Guilds raiding NiM EV/KP & HM EC, you still want to get your free Black Hole Commendations in as well as a run for the Boots. During the past several weeks, Guids have been going out there waiting, fighting over Nightmare Pilgrim. I am completely ok with a first come, first serve basis (obviously, the douchier guilds will try to take it if they can regardless of which group was there first) but the 2 hour respawn timer seems to be incredibly long. Make it a 30 minute Rewpawn timer... give that guild time to do their looting and the next guild to get everyone there & ready for the pull. If a guild has to wait 2 hours there just to ensure they're getting a NP kill in for the week, it takes away 2 hours they could have been spent in HM EC and then their raid night is shot for the night. I don't see the need for such long Respawn timers on any of the World Bosses. Make it a 30 minute Respawn. Give the Guilds a chance who raid each and every week for pretty new Campaign purples to better their gear. Last week we couldn't complete NP because everytime we'd gotten out there someone had just killed it, so we'd go to raid HM EC and then go there @ the 2 hour mark and another Guild was already set up and in the process of pulling them. It's really frustrating for everyone involved. Just an idea... a suggestion. I think it's fair... especially since you can't get the new Campaign boots from HM EC. I'm open to other suggestions, what others think, constructive critisism, but please be respectful, and keep it all on topic. =) TL;DR: Shorten the Respawn timers on World Bosses so Raiding Guilds (and pugs) have their chances at getting both the Campaign Boots & Black Hole Loots, as well as the [WEEKLY] Priority Targets IV completed. Thanks for reading. =)
  7. While the changes did take getting a little used to, I'm comfortable now in my set healing groove with the 1.2 nerfs. I think, as a whole, they've made me a better healer. You definitly have to be more on the ball with managing your Force. I doubt they'll roll anything back to Pre-1.2 Patch for Corruption Sorcerers.
  8. I completely agree. Khem is amazing. He's by far my favorite Companion out of any Class I leveled.
  9. I really liked Xalek when I first got him. He's quiet, loyal, and bascially just wants to get out there and kick some butt. I wish they'd developed him a bit more also, but as far as a sidekick goes, I think he's incredibly laidback and wants to take over the Galaxy. I kept calling him "Xanax" when I first got him... so that's been an inside joke with my friends. My favorite companion will always be Khem tho. I just love his personality and his dry sense of humor. And the fact he starts out despising you and always wanting to eat you and consume your sou... only later to genuinely like, respect, and want to go into battle to eat & consumer your enemies souls! Haha.
  10. I think that's a very worthy thing to disucss with potential guild members. With server transfers just around the corner, and many people unahppy with their servers population, if your guild is considering moving off the server (if that's an option) I think that's very important. New Guild members who aren't comfortably established in your guild and know everyone & their personality might not be willing to leave their server. Or, they may be just as unahppy with it and ready to jump ship and move on to better pastures, so to speak haha. I'm an Officer in my current guild and this is something we discuss with new recruits before we even invite them to Guild just in case it happens. We don't want anybody feeling abandoned. And I agree... don't make a Guild Recruit post on the Fleet and have it misspelled. Also, leetspeak and millions of *****'s and !!!!!!!!!'s and @@@@'s or whatever drives me insane. It doesn't make you look intelligent by any means hahaha.
  11. I'm sorry that this happened. I've been in the same Guild for about 3 years now. Prior to this we played WoW. We moved over to SWTOR together. We're not just some guild on a game who comes together to kill big bad monsters... we're friends. From what it sounds like, you're guild lacked what makes it work regardless of rank. Being a GM is not an easy job by any means. There has to be a constant balance between Officers, your Hardcore Raiders, and regular members/casual players. Leadership is necessary to provide a directon... what content you'll be tackling throughout the week, how loot is distrubted, and the overall progression of the Guild. There has to be discussion as well as compromises. I'm an Officer in my guild, and while it's never always been an easy "job", it's been fun, and I enjoy that extra little bit of "stress" in making sure everything falls into place every week. That's not saying there aren't hiccups. Or differences in opinion. But ultimately what it boils down to is strong leadership and people who are willing to be friends and not just guild mates on a game. We're not pixels, we're people. Good luck!
  12. Haha I agree. 30% reductions doesn't make it "cheap" by any means. It's a step in the right direction. To be honest, I'm not sure they ever gave a clear reasoning behind why they charge you to remove Armoring/Mods/Enhancements... but it's there, and regardless if they will reduce it 30% hopefully they'll revisit further reductions in the future.
  13. I took the time, SocraticSteve, to read through your post. It was very nicely written, and I fully agree with you on many points of view! In regards to a few things you posted... 1. Going through the story line of each of my Class Quests (for my main and alts) has been a very new & unique expierence for me. And you're absolutely right... we should be able to individualize our characters a bit more so we feel just as unique. I would love to be able to tweak things so if I see another Corruption Sorcerer, she won't look like me. Armor dyes would be awesome. They are reducing the costs of changing out armoring/mods/enchancements in 1.3 by 30%. That is defintily a step in the right direction. I spent almost 400k re-slotting my current mains gear and it was, to say the least, incredibly painful lol. You want your characters to look unqiue, and yet still have the appropriate stats needed to kick some butt. I know that Social Armor will become adaptive in 1.3 as well. You can then add Augment Slots to those particular items, so that will help! I know patch 1.3 won't be for another month or so... but, at least it's something. 2. I also have a Synthweaver, and prior to Augments being a critical success on Orange gear, I was always working on the whole "Green to Blue to Purple" crafting method. With the introduction of Orange gear crit'ing Augments, it really did make most of the other Schematics obselete (save belts, bracers, boots, and gloves) as people with established Mains were able to just keep trying (or purchase) Orange Augmented gear. That was a little disappointing, but I'm guilty of doing the same for my alts! 3. I really like the idea of being able to search for crafters & their receipes w/in the Guild. There are many times I've wished that was a function in SWTOR. Especially when you're on a low population server (which I know most of us suffer, and is going to be worked on with the upcoming server transfers) and you're unable to find what you need on the GTM. At least you could browse through your Guildmates Receipes and hopefully find what you're looking for. 4. I don't PvP so I can't comment on this haha. I kinda like the idea that color crystals for your weapons range from easy to purchase all the way up to really hard to get. I don't think their idea was to "punish" you for wanting different color crystals. It's more like "Ok this Red & Black Crystal was because I kicked butt raiding Rakata level gear" and won the roll! So you start off being able to get basic color crystals (Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, etc.) on through to Magenta, ending with the Red & Back, Orange & Black colors that are only obtained via End Game Raiding. Green & Black were from the Raghkoul Plague event, so those are more "speical". I hope I'm making sense haha. I just like that system in general. You're rewarded the more you progress with Color Crystals as you are with your gear. Black Hole gear is amazing even without the stats for the Armorning/Mods/Enhancements that you can use to fill in your one off piece from your Rakata Set, your Agumented Weapon, as well as upgrading your OH, Implants, Belt, Bracers and Earpiece. If you haven't achieved any of your Rakata pieces for their set bonuses, then you can abslotely focus on Black Hole gear and it will be a huge upgrade stat wise from Columi. It's all about balance... and this can be easily researched by reading the website and/or asking people ingame for help. The whole Dark Side/Light Side deal is also something I think was implemented well. BW isn't trying to "punish" you for choosing a side, it's trying to give you added perks for whichever side you choose. You choose to either be "good" or "bad", and once you've chosen your path... you then get to purchase items from your Light Side/Dark Side vendors a bonus. Heck, you don't even need to purchase anything if you don't want to. If you want to be unique... ignore them altogether! I'm not sure why one would look at that as a punishment. But you're allowed you opinion. With all, of that being said... I fully agree that there is room for a lot of improvment in SWTOR. Hopefully BW will listen to the community & work through some of the most major issues first and trickle down to the things that we just want in the game, even if it's for cosmetic reasons. I know... TL;DR here on my end too... Haha. I just figured I'd respond with some of my own thoughts/opinions as well. Good Luck!!
  14. I love duffy's website! I had previously used http://www.torhead.com/companions and just clicked on the Companion I was working on currently. But I really like the chart on there. Thanks for sharing!
  15. CrAzEdMiKe what a great Guide! I'm getting started on my 3rd alt here... and I'm going to be going over your guide as I level her. I've noticed that the higher level I get on any alt char, the more Space Missions I do = less time in whatever assigned Planet I'm leveling on. Space Missions = great exp as well as extra money! I haven't read through your entire guide now (well, any of the addendums) but I completely skipped Space Missions on my main when I was leveling her back when the game debuted. I was too busy exploring & leveling on plantes, as well as focusing on my Class Quest and FP's, to really explore Space. When leveling my first alt, I made sure to do all Space Missions every day (well, almost everyday lol) and it was great! Money, Exp, and Fleet Commendations = win! Plus it was nice being able to purchase new Ship upgrades as they became available (it's also a good idea to keep an eye on the GTM if you're not a Cybertech as you level so you can equip those blue ship upgrades that help to make Space Missions soooo much easier). Fleet Commendations add up very quickly as more Space Missions become available (I had something like 400+ when I hit mid-40's on her). I also always try to make sure to do my Bonus Series on every planet as they offer great Exp as well as rewards from completing the entire Bonus Series questline. Anyway... keep up the good work. I have also bookmarked your Guide.
