  2. <It's The Healers Fault> is a newly formed guild that is currently recruiting both experienced and inexperienced raiders to join our Guild. We currently have 1 team that runs during the week and are looking for anyone who is interested in raiding whether they have a ton of experience or no experience whatsoever but are interested in learning! One of our projects, I am currently interested in establishing is an "Introduction to Operations" Group that would be focused primarily on helping bring groups through SM and HM content and helping them to learn the mechanics and clear content. This is not a group that is going to be carrying people through content but putting experienced raiders with groups that are new to raiding and are willing and able to put the time and effort into progressing. Our core officers are people who have cleared HM Operations and even most if not all operations in NiM. We are not Elitists, we are people interested in running and clearing content and having fun and we want to help anyone who is new to this group content. We are also interested in getting more groups running within the guild other than our own core raid group. We have a guild ship currently, and are working towards completely unlocking it. If you are interested in joining a guild that is willing to help put time and effort into helping you get into raiding, or are just looking for a new home that is focused on raiding and running operations, then come give us a try!   3. How exactly have solo players been left in the rain? This game focused exclusively on Solo players for 2+ YEARS. Now that they have finally begun doing SOME mmo bits, namely 2/5ths of an operaiton (not even releasing it all at once) and a flashpoint, while also adding even more stuff for solo players (Iokath), and you are acting like you are being ignored? Yea when they go 2+ years without adding any new content exclusively for solo players, then you can complain but the solo players have been catered to for a long time now while the MULTIPLAYER aspect of the game was ignored. Its a good thing they are refocusing on the multiplayer aspects in an online multiplayer game.

Probably shouldnt say that cuz they'll make it where we cant do that anymore. There is an area on the other side of that star shiphook that is probably as big as the entire stronghold itself that we cannot access and its really disappointing
  5. So Eric Musco lied several years ago when he said it wasnt an exploit? I am sorry but you have something we were specifically told wasnt an exploit, so if you are gonna change that definition and suddenly classify it as an exploit yea i think that deserves a much different response than someone finding a new bug in the game and exploiting it for an unfair advantage over other players.
  6. They are more concerned with cash grabs than with actual improvements to the game. Just look at their priorities re: bugs that stil arent fixed versus making sure you cant transfer a crystal because you didnt pay a fee
  7. Also to me, this really shows what their priorities are. There are a lot of bugs out there that really need to be addressed and fixed. Everytime my group does the new ops instance, when we go to another area (like for example Yavin 4 to work on ToS) EVERYONE's game crashes when trying to use the speeder or quick travel. EVERYONE. Thats just one bug out of many that exist right now, some bugs that have existed for YEARS and make certain things simply unbearable. But hey, lets not worry about those things. Someone might transfer a cash market item to another character without paying their fee! We must fix THAT pressing issue we've known about for 5 years and actually said wasnt an exploit.
  8. There were ways to make this change without negatively impacting those of us who use legacy weapons. Make it so that crystals and tunings do not get added to collections simply by removing them, and that the item is destroyed when its pulled from a weapon- no big deal since someone has a copy in the legacy and can replace it without allowing it to unlock on multiple characters. Remove tuning slots from legacy weapons. I mean if we weren't ever intended to be able to send these tunings to other characters then why were tuning slots added to those weapons in the first place? The fact is, we have a post from 5 years ago telling us this wasnt an exploit- which means we were told its something we are allowed to do. When they introduced tunings, they added those slots to a lot of legacy weapons and it looks like even in these patch notes they are adding such slots to other legacy weapons within this patch (at least iirc those two sabers were changed to be legacy weapons). Of course that was before tunings were added to collections but still the point remains that they created a situation were, similiar to color crystals, tunings could be transfered between characters. And now, rather than finding a way to fix that loophole that does not negatively impact players (and no matter what the cost, forcing us to remove those tunings and crystals that we like for whatever reason and telling us we should simply use a different crystal is a huge inconvenience since it affects ALL CM crystals and tunings even if we have paid the fee to unlock them) they throw this out with no warning despite allowing this to happen for 5 years and telling players it wasnt an exploit and therefore ok to do. They should scrub this particular item from the patch and find a way to accomplish the same goal without causing a huge inconvenience. As it is, I can see this negatively impacting their cash market as people will simply stop going after those items if they use legacy gear to outfit alts (which a lot of people do rather than creating multiple sets of gear for toons that are the same class, i personally have 4 assassins, 2 shadows that share gear and 8 mercs/commandos)
  9. I am talking about people who have zero across the board, damage, healing, protection, objectives, and medals and who are still in the group at the end of the match. If you backfill, you get medals so its easy to tell the difference between someone who joined late, or spent the whole match guarding, as opposed to someone who afk's and I see it a lot especially when its the daily bonus
  10. In Hypergate if you are in the area thats below the starting area, its a safe zone from the kill wave Although I have been known to broadcast a free kill to the opposing team when I see it

While that is true in some cases, I have seen people standing in the little safe areas underneath the starting areas in hypergate for the entire match, calling out to vote kick them doesnt always work, and if the zero across the board (including medals) is still in the group at the end of the match its obvious they went afk during the match since if you join after the match has started or at the very end you get at least 1 medal
  12. The new system of Unassembled Components and PVP matches has caused a major problem in that you get people in group who literally get zero damage, zero healing, zero medals. While you CAN do a vote kick to remove them, its always hard to tell while you are engaged in the match to tell who is running and hiding just to afk during the match to get free components. It is incredibly frustrating to lose a match and then discover at least one or more people didnt do anything but just step far enough outside the starting zone to not get kicked for deserter. Something should be done to address this, whether its awarding components in a similiar fashion as CXP and such currently is where you get more for the more medals you get and making it so that getting zero medals means you get zero components. Or something where that sort of behavior can be reported and punished just like win trading and such is punished.
  13. I really do not know why people are saying you should only use the kingpin machine when you have the feeling lucky buff. I've gotten 3 of the new speeders and 3 of the new companions all without that silly buff. The only thing I won while trying to use the buff was the certificates. I found it a much better use of my time to farm the higher tokens using the smuggler tokens and then when I got enough of the kingpin tokens (around 75-100) to then go mess with the kingpin slot machine.
  14. all gear from tier 4, whether its 244, 246, or 248 has a set bonus. It is one of the changes they made when they introduced tier 4 gear into the game so that every piece could be a potential upgrade
  15. I feel the need to correct you because that is just not correct unless you are only talking about 16m which I have not done Nefra NiM in 16m. I have with my team killed Nefra NiM (and other bosses as well just using this as an example since it is used as an example here) and it is only ever 1 piece of either 244 or 246 gear. We have never seen it drop two pieces in 8m, and a huge part of the problem is that randomness. With the exception of 1 or 2 pieces which were actually useable by the group, we have gotten gear for Marauders (which we do not have in our current group make up) Juggernaut DPS (which we do not have in our current group make up) Sorc DPS (which we do not have in our current group make up). That randomness makes it almost completely unnecessary because you absolutely cannot rely on Master Mode Operations in order to get gear needed to do the content. If there were a way to guarantee that while it would be random prototype/artifact gear it would actually be completely useable by your current group make up it wouldnt be nearly as terrible as it is right now.
  16. I dont think thats a fair assessment at all. It takes a LOT of unassembled components to grind a full set of gear from 236 all the way to 248, whereas you can get all 242 gear from doing a small number of operations (2 of which are some of the easiest content in the game- EV and KP). And if you are an ops player, it is significantly easier to fully upgrade by balancing doing HM operations with running pvp and gsf every week. If you are just a straight pvp or gsf player, you have to rely solely on UC's from matches and the daily/weekly and your luck with RNGsus in the crates. It is way easier to get fully geared doing ops than it is to just do straight pvp. That being said, I think adjusting either the number of UC's you get from doing PVP and GSF and adding other ways to get them so that both have a viable way to get them or reducing the cost of components for items is better than the current system. It is a huge grind, even if all you are doing is upgrading from 242 to 248 let alone if you have to start at 236 and upgrade from there. I get that it shouldnt be something that is easily done in a week or two, but right now it takes a week or two to get 1 piece unless you pvp or gsf all day non-stop and even then it takes a lot of matches for one piece. As an example, to upgrade your mainhand you would need to do the daily and the weekly and a minimun of 33 matches assuming you were able to win every single match and 88 matches if you lost every match. And thats to upgrade from tier 3 to tier 4. That doesnt include if you have to start with purchasing Tier 2 and then upgrading it to Tier 3. Making UC's legacy wide would help a bit with this, and we know they can do it- they did it with command tokens. Another question I guess I would have for Option 2 is what about those operations that do not have a master mode (excluding EV/KP because just no) but are some of the hardest content still in the game in Veteran Mode (ToS, Ravagers, and at least for now Valley of the Machine Gods)? I believe and I could be wrong that HM in ToS and RaV still also drops the tier 4 artifact/prototype gear but I could be wrong. If you all were to implement a system where one could get UC's off operations bosses in Master Mode, are you going to include content that is potentially more difficult than at least some of the Master Mode content?
  17. There isn't a master mode for ev so not sure why master mode gharj was mentioned. You would think you all knew which operations had master mode and which didn't

It's nice to see how concerned you all are with character transfers not working (conveniently something that you all actually charge people for and therefore it has a cash value) but there are things happening right now that I have not even seen anything acknowledged by the Dev Team and no idea how long we are going to have to wait for these things to be fixed: 1. Iokath is still bugged to heck. STILL. Further, we were told we wouldn't have to do the new story line in order to do the new operation but unless you are doing it when its on the group finder, you cannot do the operation without at least starting the story line so you have the ability to fly to the planet unless someone has the ability to summon you to the entrance. The whole getting summoned thing is ok as a work around but if you are going to require us to do or at least start the story line then please dont tell us we arent required to do it in order to do the new operation. 2. According to everything we were told, you are supposed to get relevant gear for your discipline. Why is it then that Tanks are getting lots of dps relics when opening crates? I have yet to see my dps get tank relics, and I havent heard anyone I know who is a healer getting screwed out of their gear by getting relics for the wrong spec but tanks? Oh well. Finally got a lucky roll on the gamble boxes and pulled a 248 out of a box? Wait its a clicky alacrity relic that you have no use whatsoever for as a tank? Oh well too bad I guess.
  19. Any ideas on how long you are gonna make us wait for you all to fix the horrible mess you all made with Absorb? Anything more difficult than SM ((maybe EV/KPHM as well) and its difficult since tanks cant absorb any damage. I really hope you all dont expect ops teams to have to wait weeks for this to be fixed
  20. I thought it was being fixed but apparently not. If he has any dailies, the weekly, or other quests from Iokath he has to completely abandon them in order to be able to switch sides. Have had a few people who thought they did but found a quest in their logs and after abandoning it they were able to switch
  21. Absorb is broken across the board... Did Tyth SM, and Nefra NiM. Absorbing 0% of the time on self. Sorc bubble will give absorb but not the tank stat itself. We were taking way too much damage because of this. How many weeks will it take to fix this mess that makes it extremely hard to do much more than easy content. This was on my Sin Tank, and since OP said he was on his jugg I can assume the same will be true for power techs
  22. Yea its not a firewall issue as thats the first think I checked. It went slow but it finally repaired but its still taking forever to download the patch and no guarantee I wont see any other issues
  23. So I got a error message saying I needed to repair... it does the scan and then says theres a network error (310) and the rapir files are downloading at like 0.07kb or not at all... My internet is working just fine so I really do not understand just what the heck is going on here.
  24. In the 5.2 patch notes, it stated we would be able to use quick travel from our ship hangars. However, what I have noticed is that that simply isnt the case. When I use the new Galaxy Map to go wherever I am going it puts me inside my Ship Hangar on that planet. I am still required to completely exit the hangar and space port before being allowed to use my Quick Travel. If you are going to put something in the patch notes, you probably want to make sure its something that is actually true. Why is it that I cannot use quick travel, or my emergency fleet pass? I can, I believe, use the Galaxy Map and go to other planets but cannot use the other QT options. Also, why is there a cost associated with traveling to the fleet from the Galaxy Map especially when you have the full legacy perk for instant quick travel to fleet? While yes, I can use my fleet pass instead, in certain areas you cannot use the fleet pass but can use the galaxy map. Travel to Fleet should be free. I don't think it costs anything to travel there from your ship, or at least I dont think it used to, so why is there now?
  25. I am making this suggestion because it is something we used to have back in the day for warzone and ranked warzone comms where you could buy specific mods or enhancements for comms. When you are trying to optimize sometimes you just need a mod or (more likely) an enhancement to finish your gear off. Rather than having to buy an entire piece of tier gear and getting other items you dont necessarily need everything from, it would be nice to be able to directly purchase whatever mod or enhancement you might need. And for tanks, who might choose the higher endurance Advanced Vigilant Enhancement or Advanced Steadfast Enhancement over the optimized versions that are found in the actual token gear or set pieces, there is no alternative other than either sticking with a lower tier (right now 240 since we cant craft 246). Giving us the freedom to play how we choose is supposed to be one of the hallmarks of this expansion and adding this type of vendor where we would spend either the pvp currency or some other form of currency like command tokens, would help to allow us to gear the way we choose to gear.
