I have 2 options: 1- I want to bring back my companions that were lost on The Fallen Empire (grayed out, can't click) 2- I want to bring back my original companions (you already have all that this terminal could locate) My Torian lies dead next to Darth Marr and the Empress, can't be called out.
  2. Your guide and this sentence induces us in error. I have tried time and time again to get Torian back, but the terminal only has knights of the fallen empire, not KOTET, and it doesn't return him. At least not yet anyway.
  3. I have seen the new animations, and I don't understand. The 2 iconic moves my marauder had were Ravage and Saber throw. Now you turn Ravage in to something clearly not inspired in any swords art, looks like someone waving a light stick, no more, no less. Not star warsy. If you want the combat more fast paced you should REMOVE SOME OF THE NPC CCs. That's what makes combat not fun, the amounth of ccs they are able to cast in a single combat, for example on Revan Alliance combat. I spend a lot of the combat belly down. Its not fun. You have managed to take all the fun of combat and at the same time increased the quantity of trash mobs we have to clear to do any of the new chapters. The story is great though. I didn't like the removal of stats for one single mastery, I didn't like the removal of a conflict between republic and empire - no way my sith lord would ever do half the stuff he is doing looking after republic chars. I didn't like the simplification of the talents, I now choose the same for every subclass spec, more or less. I didn't like the removal of my marauder spin kick skill, and this is probably the last time I will complain about anything on this game. At the moment I'm only enjoying the story and when some new content is released, the company of what is left of my guild mates. But even I have to admit this game is choosing a path I am not willing to follow. You are clearly trying to reduce the amounth of work needed to release some content that fits all classes and factions, by almost removing them entirely. I see a lot more EA on that then I do BioWare. You are making me a sad panda.
  4. Every time there is a new combat revamp I come here to express how important I feel animations in combat are, to me, when it comes to a Star Wars game. I have mentioned in the past that the removal of Ravage would upset me, since its one of the few moves that has some style on what concerns Jedi/Sith melee fighting. What made Darth Maul so great in the movies was his acrobatics, along with a nice villain look, it made him one of the coolest Star Wars character ever. Something we miss terribly here, and are going to miss even more on 5.0. This game lacks the iconic animations we have seen in the cinematics, most moves are just waving the light stick, and don't seem based on any swords play art. Same goes for the pistols and the decision to make 2 of the pistols user melee. Its not that fun. And now you remove the BH most iconic skill Flamethrower? You have removed my marauder spin kick several years ago, and I'm still not happy with that. And then you gave me this new irrelevant move Mad Rush. I can see usefulness for the operative new move, but this? Instead of changing this stupid move for something more interesting you are going to fix the one that isn't broken, Ravage? I grow tired of the lack of long term content, I enjoyed a lot the new chapters but as i expected repeating them isn't nearly as fun after 3 times. I will remain here to play the new 9 chapters, but after that it will depend mostly on who remains on my guild. Most members have already left, its a raiding guild so you know why. I appreciate you trying to make the old content more appealing by waving a carrot in the end of a stick, I like to revisit it sometimes and its difficult to find a group for some. But I'm not going to grind it even if my char life depends on it. I wont change my habits of doing a PVP once in a while, or a FP or repeating some old OP, but that's it. I know my complains about the change of Ravage will fall on deft ears - as did the removal of Orbital Strike and Sticky Grenade on my abandoned operative - and same goes for the removal of Flamethrower on my BH. Its very likely I will be heading to ESO after playing this new expansion until a new one arrives. I love this game, so wanted to voice my opinion in the hopes that such decisions will be better considered in the future. Though I honestly doubt you even care.

Dear Eric Though I appreciate the fact that you fixed this issue in record time, I would be very thankful if you could do it at times that don't impact your European customers as this one does, 5pm UK time is bad. Was about to log in to play and now I wont have my swtor fix and then at 7pm is dinner time. Thank you *sniff*
  6. This new incentive to repeat content will hopefully bring more players to GSF and other activities where its harder to find a group, and that sounds good. However I have some concerns about the gearing part, as it seems many others. I would much rather have the chance of getting a new mount, pet or cartel armor piece as "cheese", instead of the gear. I'm not going to grind, I haven't grinded this far, I play what I feel like it when I feel like it, and don't do tasks I don't find fun. I'm also not rich so if the mods price will go sky high I will be doing whatever you send my way on the armor the quests gave me when I was leveling to 70. And that's how it will remain. I doubt I will repeat the story on the same character, each lives with the consequences of his story decisions. And another concern of mine is little things that I was aiming at - What will happen to the legacy vendor on the supplies section of the fleet? - What will happen to the commendations decoration vendor on the fleet? - What will happen to the underworld vendor (sells armor set and decors) on our galactic commando bunker? There are probably more I have forgotten. Could we have this system but keep the gearing as is please?
  7. Hello I am wishing there was a level reset token that we could use to turn a character back to level one. We could keep the companions we already unlocked, in a similar way to the one used with the current companions terminal, we could keep our collection unlocks, but could do the story quests all over again and also the companion stories/romances - this also like we could do on Fallen Empire with the terminal. I have several low level alts that were already on my family tree, for the other class options that I haven't done yet, already dressed and imagined in personality wich i would prefer doing the event with if I could. Could a solution like this be found for the veteran players?
  8. My smugler is still bugged. I skipped the last double xp because of this, I dont want to advance my last legacy guy, the trooper, before its fixed. I have been enjoying the new stories, but this is annoying me a lot, plus all the times its been said it would be fix arent helping.

  10. I searched online and cant find information about this more recent then April, this was supposed to be fixed on 4.4. I just finished the Smuggler classic story and Chapter 3 continues to say its not completed. I only lack Smuggler and Trooper, so this was a bucket of cold water instead of a YAY one to go. Please fix this soon Love the new chapters, and continue to love the game, but I certainly wish its bugs were ironed. In the last chapter there were also several conversations of Risha where the camera was aiming at only a little of her back and her weapon when it was her speaking.
  11. Hi If you have the max number of strongholds one is going to the second page. I don't know if that is what happened to you, but I was scared when I didn't see my Nar Saddaa stronghold and that's where it went, to page 2.
  12. I have the same 308 error, the patch doesn't start. I am using the non ST version of the launcher, i don't like the ST one, it takes too long with its reorganising things. Are you guys using the same I am, or ST? So much for chapter early access :/
  13. Hi I just wanted to provide my personal feedback on this expansion, since im very fast to criticise when something impacts me negatively aswell. I loved it. The story you gave us was like playing Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 3. The companions changes will finaly allow me to customise them as i see fit (I even buy certain sets just because i think fit their personality, like having Gault on Calo Ord suit), and team up with my favorites without having the penalty of having to self recover my health. I felt sorry that some events of the story hapened, in 2 ocasions (just so you can guess wich without revealing any spoiler), but thats also a part of what makes those stories good, and umpredictable. The level designs are well inspired, I do hope we get a chance to do more on Odesse later on, though I think you could have been less generous when placing the mobs - in my opinion they are a bit too much, but I didnt mind. You gave me a good scare and I was frawning like hell when I tried to use the companions terminal, and it didnt work. Yes I do like the new companions, but I "love" the old ones too. Dont you dare take away my apprentice! I also loved the new Flashpoint and the fact that decorations do drop also on solo mode. Big Kudos for that. On a negative note, I heard (but havent tried yet) that the story is the same weather Republic or Imperial. I hope I got that wrong - though truth be told, you somehow managed to make repeating the shadow of revan and following bits not dull for me at all. Unlike what happens with Makeb (wich I loved at first, but desliked the turn of the shields bit a lot) or Illum (sigh). Also on a meh note, I didnt like the alliance talk model you used, just like i didnt like the daily missions model you used on Yavin 4. My sith warrior has a very sexy voice, so dont you go mute him. I dont mind paying a bit for the voice over feature, ok? So after saying this, I just wanted to thank the Bioware team for the good work. This latest contents have more the Bioware signature then before. And I really do love your art to create new stories and new worlds. Thank you Bioware.
  14. I do hope they fix this, my Pierce is wearing my makeb empire trooper set. Also, I have no wish to add more monsters to my companions list, the monsters (Boomark/Khem/Xalek,Qyzen/Yuun are exactly the companions i wouldn't mind letting go. So I really hope I can get my apprentice back and the rest of the crew. And my Nico is gone since I started the story, now on chapter 8 and no sign of him.
  15. I cant get in to this old style anymore either, and I don't think it combines in any way with the quality of the rest. Just as those old style pop up board quests in Yavin dailies didn't match at all either. At least give me the options and the voice.

  18. My fear on this is that instead of us having all those companions we currently do, we get to have those lets say 8 regardless of our class. So thats everyone and their mother running around with 1 of lets say 8 customisations for nicko. It would make easier to create new content that included them, but there are several companions i even bothered creating new chars to romance, or that I simply find very funny and enjoy having around. Im not sure how I will react when they take them away from me. Atm I barely find any reason to log in anymore - was grinding comps gear but now I dont think there is a reason to, and lets face it, the grind wasnt fun to begin with. I have been with this game since launch, I could see myself playing it for the distant future, but now I have the unpleasent feeling that coming auctum the changes will either make or break the game for me, and beeing a pessimist i suspect I wont be around here on xmas. Btw, I feel a lot less simpathy for Dragon Age Inquisition companions then I did for any of the Previous, specialy for those in the first. Hope they know what they are doing.
  19. SWG was a niche game has were all other MMORPG out in the market before WOW. The subscriber numbers of the most popular ones went from around 200k to 500k. SWG had once 500k subs. The game offered several really spheric planets, with no instanced and we could actualy go around the globe. The creatures we hunted had what was called pack instint, it was the first mmo to use it, meaning if you one mob you could be attacked by his buddies if they saw you. It looked great back in its day, and it had a great community with established player cities and consented open pvp. I say this so you get a glimpse of what made that base game so special has a hobby for a lot of us. And the game was still having 100k players before the NGE, but they hoped for more, and got 10k left after, so decided to close. Above all, was a big lesson. And those 100k tried to warn them. Then the 10k left didnt understand why paying the expensive copy rights of such a brand wasnt worth it with such small subs level left. This pretty much sums the all history.
  20. You underestimate the nerd level of some of us SW and MMO player fans i guess Based on the reports of those from press that were on the E3 and from the expansion page itself. "With the launch of Knights of the Fallen Empire, all of the original eight Class stories will be enhanced" And also from MMORPG http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/367/feature/9796/E3-2015-Knights-of-the-Fallen-Empire-Preview.html "BioWare knows that a lot of their players like SWTOR because it’s a continuation of Knights of the Old Republic as much as it is an MMO. So for Knights of the Fallen Empire they are focusing really hard on upping their cut-scene and story-telling game. Cameras move during story scenes, animations and overall direction are far more diverse than in the other story-focused contents and expansions. Watching the player, now known as The Outlander, escape from the carbonite prison with the help of Lana and Koth was an absolutely riveting experience. Gameplay wise, BioWare promises lots more info to come on all the new class skills, but the main goal of the new powers is to increase the mobility and action of each class as they want the pace of combat to increase overall with KotFE. Watching the Skytroopers fly around, come in through windows, and make combat more movement heavy gave a good impression that we’ll be doing a lot more moving during fights in the expansion". Combat will change.
  21. I understand the OP concern. I too was forced out of SWG by the NGE and the fact that so much is planned to change now scares me. On one hand I continue to love the games Bioware makes, wich bodes well, on another the movie showing yet another destroyed scenario scares me, has does the focus on a more action based combat system wich was what lead swg to its disaster. I am a little reassured by MMORPG words that it looks more cinematic, more like what we could see on a movie. Thats what imersses me, and why the spin kick was so cool. I enjoy living vibrant worlds and nice combat animations like ravage, or the spin kick you stole from my marauder and is now an exclusive interrupt from jedi warrior. I enjoyed this game combat system more has it was in the begining, and i dont like it half has much now, even with the dual blades throw. Things like the removal of my agent explosive probe and orbitral strike have made him retire, and can make or break the game. Also, the vibrant world, last thing I want to see is the current planets in the same state Ziost is post spoiler. Wich is a pitty, I understand why there was a post spoiler but I actualy enjoyed that planet before it. Also, I have heard the: It Will have a Remarkable story before. It does indeed, makeb had one nice to do 3 times at most, one light, one dark, one republic was my limit - forged alliances was nice but only with very minor diference between republic/empire, so worth 2 runs at most, and I havent experienced republic Ziost yet since my sentinel lacks 1 level - so on this i dont know. I do know I LOVE the Class Quests. The mere thought that they may cut some of those quests short to enhance the all experience is just not acceptable. If they dont want to do more class quests, at least dont cut on what is done. And dont steal my companions, you may temporarily make them go away, but I want to be abble to get them back, save for some I would have killed if i had the chance. And i dont want to be forced to grind ilimited dailies to do so. I hate repeating stuff that doesnt even have nuances. Yes Im worried too, so my hype is = has worry untill told I can relax and that anything is going to be all right.
  22. I have a question, please. When it sais play 8 enhanced class stories do you mean those already present but enhanced with the new xp boost and rewards, or do you mean brand new ones? The expansion features seem really good, but I have the feeling that when you mention the class stories its not for me that am already lvl 60, but for those that might begin to play for the first time after it (expansion) arrives. I really would like to know before i get a major disapointment. Many thanks
  23. A couple of weeks back, I posted for the first time in over an year asking that you didnt remove cool animations. I have just seen the new marauder animations - and my main is a marauder - and again you are replacing iconic with something I dont know where you get the idea from. Casting force powers from the lightsabers? Really? One of the animations is the dual saber throw without the sabers been throwned. I like the jug animations, they fit the jedi/sith theme by using a hand, but the marauder new skills look bad, it doesnt look like it fits the jedi/sith powers at all. I havent forgotten you have removed the spin kick from my marauder on last expansion, and now you replace something that was visual apealing to the newbies - saber throw gained at lower lvl - for lightsaber casting spells. What made the battle between darth maul and the jedi so epic was the fact that experts on martial arts were involved. The moves they did were convincing, they didnt have weird moves like Ptech incinerate wich look like they are opening a cartel pack, nor massacre wich i dont even know how it looks, or impale from jug, it all doesnt seem like sith moves at all. You have done a great job at the cinematics Hope and so on, but we dont see any resemblance from those jaw droping cool looking animations to what is in game. Im sorry if Im a little harsh but everytime you cripple my marauder i resent that. And I do care about how he looks, both in clothing, behavior and animations. And do please reduce the amounth of moans he does while battling these days, wasnt like this in the past. I do love your game, but please put the time and efford to improving it on the expansions, instead of coming up with animations that feel out of place why dont you restore older if necessary like the spin kick and name it something else. It looked really good and its something we have all seen in the movies and series, unlike spell casting LS. Love your new fps, you have a lot of talent, use it on my marauder please

Dear Bioware Im very happy about the upcoming expansion with Revan, including what i did read on joystiq: "Each player class will be given one unique class story mission as part of the storyline; these are entirely different from one another," Musco wrote. The idea of the disciplines might be a good one too, but - Please dont remove well animated skills like you removed the spin kick from my marauder and sin. Please dont remove ravage, please dont remove the LS throw. If you have to remove any, pass the animation to the new or to a old not so well animated. The sin AOE spin also please dont remove - among others, you have several that are well worth keeping even if you make changes in the name or effect of the skills. Thank you.
