So I'm a returning player. Trying to decide whether I'm going to roll a IA or SI as a class. However, I enjoy crafting in games and wasn't sure in the current game if there's a "best" option for each of those classes. I may do alts in the future but I'd be playing the class as a main. I haven't thought about it much for IA, but for SI I was thinking either biochem, artifice, or synthweaving. Guess for IA biochem, cybertech or armortech. I'll be able to have 3 crew skills if that affects the answer at all.

Which faction are those characters on? And any specific Advanced Class you might be interested in? At work, so will log on later this afternoon and message you.

As the title indicates, I am looking for a leveling partner. I know this might be a bad time since 12x just passed, but I am [probably] going to start over from level 1 and am wanting to level a new character up. I am thinking one of the non-force classes, although faction does not matter. I am just looking for someone to level with to make it more interesting, and make the grinding less boring. I am in CST (if that matters) and am mostly on evenings, although I am almost out [of college] for the semester I should be able to play a bit more, especially on weekends. If it matters, I do have GTN, repair droid, etc on my ship when I get it, so bonus there when we travel. If you want to talk through skype, vent, TS, etc., we can do that also. I just get bored if I'm playing solo, so that's why I'm looking for someone to play with. Class doesn't really matter to me, but I do have some that I prefer over overs. The only limitation is that I am not interested in playing any of the Jedi Knight or Sith Warrior Advanced Classes. I do prefer to DPS/Heal over tank, but I don't mind tanking if need be. Server does not matter also, but I am not interested in role playing. I am in CST (if that matters) and am mostly on at night time in the evenings/late night.

Yeah, I may not do the 12x XP then. I want to take time to learn the class(es) that I play, and leveling with a partner makes that much more enjoyable. I'm going to play on Harbringer, but not sure which faction or class. If anyone wants to start and level with me, that would be awesome.

Sniper does sound like a good idea, but the only thing is that huttball is my favorite WZ. So I definitely want a class that is good at Huttball and won't get destroyed. I've looked into it some and I've seen alot of people saying that merc's are broken and have been for a while as far as dps goes, saying that they are almost dead last...Not sure if that's correct or not. I really appreciate all of the feedback, with the exception of the dumb trolls saying go play another game.

I was playing a Sorc on a low low populated server, and I am rerolling to a higher pop one. I mostly pvp, and I want a ranged dps (preferably), but melee dps might work out also for my playstyle. I don't want to roll another Sorc, due to the fact I really got tired of their storyline leveling (I got to 37). If I dps/heal combo or have choice to switch back and forth, that doesn't matter. I just don't want to tank. Side doesn't matter, although I prefer empire. I'm not a "flavor of the month" player either, so the whole OP or underpowered thing doesn't matter either...I don't want to just play random classes and do that whole "trial" thing with each AC. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I've sent 2 and it's not showing either sent for some reason... My mumble channel is on a public gaming server and I'm new to the mumble admin stuff, so havent quite figured out the password. I have some idiots that keep using my channel so until I can get them off, might be better if you have one we can use or we can find a vent.

I totally agree. Getting camped is the chance you take when you play on a PvP server, but at the same time, it's always fun to kill the opposing faction when you're out questing. Also doesn't matter PvP or RP-PvP to me either...You can pick server if you want. I was leaning towards Sentinel or Sage, but that might depend on what you're interested in.

Awesome!! I agree with the kids playing a bad a** also...I also like the smaller groups vs a large guild. Do you like world PvP? Wasn't sure if you liked PvP servers or not. Also, any certain class/adv class you're wanting to play? I prefer a dps (maybe off heal if needed also). I'm in CST, so time zones wouldn't be confusing. And I'm normally on about those same times during the week, sometimes on longer on weekends.

I thought about the same thing, but then I remembered I tried that on WoW. With the group, it's alot easier to find 1 or 2 people to play with alot and maybe join a guild with alot of active people that you can get to fill a group. Hard to constantly play as a group since not everyone is on at once. Is your inquisitor assassin or sorcerer? And if you're looking for company I'm up for it.
